Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that I'll be at the Texas Truck Show on June 24-25, 2023. If you're interested in joining, you can register for free through this link texastruckings.... Looking forward to seeing you there!
BECCA! Thanks for the shoutout. I was a pleasure to meet you! 😊
Let’s all show this beautiful soul some love Yall. Hit that like button.
I know you do not like it, but tarps on the top of the hay, with straps over the tarps is a game changer. A must if it rains, or a wind storm ☔️
yeah in your theory, I never seen a logical person double stack round bales for shipping for this exact reason.
@@foygoon9774. They carry tightly rolled bales two high all the time here in Oz. No problems. But you do need a lot of straps & it pays to cross them on the diagonal if you are able to do so. Back in the days before the straps & hemp rope was used it was all square bales & mostly about how they were stacked.
@@foygoon9774 Out here in Oklahoma we haul double stack round bales all the time. About the only time you see singles stack are on goose neck pickups.
@@foygoon9774 I have never seen un tied round or square bales, but maybe 🤔 it’s a Deep South thing
I'm in Iowa and see them hauled double stacked all the time.
Becca, when I saw that hay on your trailer, I sighed for you. That was some very SAD looking rolls of hay! They had no business putting that soggy toilet paper hay in your truck! 💩
At least you found people willing to help you fix it a little and get you down the road. You’re a great mother trucker! 😂 😍 🏍🇺🇸🎒 Be safe. 🐶
Yeah, as someone who has driven a tractor in circles for much of my life :) ... I can say they had some kind of problem with their binder. Somebody didn't do a test bail and check it, but honestly, you could tell the moment they stacked it by the slump that stuff wasn't rolled tight at all. I can't believe you made it as far as you did. Great work!!
O hey, another circle driver! I too, am one of creative circle drivers (you got to, on the fields that are not rectangular in any way!), though never drive with bales. Various grains at the worst :D
That hay was a pain in the butt !! Lol I’m glad you got there safe !!❤
Thank you Becca for being one of the many that keep this country movin', youre are such a hard worker, youre awesome!!
They ain't all their cracked up to be.
@@riffraff1015wym by that?
@@riffraff1015 🤔
NGL, when the dogs had pissed on each other i was laughing so hard but in pitty with you. You have the worst luck ever! Good thing you always seem to laugh at shitty situations.
Awesome vid! Stay safe and stay you! 😂😂
I’m a hay producer and I have my own semi and step deck. You definitely don’t want to go on the road with any bales leaning outboard. Your problem is the bales on the bottom they are out of round shape and getting really flat cause in your top bale to lean outboard. Watch the loading of the hay and when it’s picked up if the bottom of the bale loses shape have it loaded on the top row. All your bottom rows need to be very tight bales. As you drive these bales will settle and become flat on the bottom side. As you may need to check and redo your straps every several 100 miles or so. There are people who bale big square bales 4 x 4 and even bigger and they transport much easier then round bales. I use edge protectors on the square bales and pull them really tight.
You have found a great place to work. They respect you and you’re having fun. Keep up the great job! More good things will happen to you!
Hey Becca, I have never seen anyone deal with problems like you. You are nothing short of AMAZING. Love your videos, be safe, and KEEP ON TRUCKING
Glad them boys helped you center that hay! Way to go made it into the yard without losing that load. That's very impressive! Glad you're employers taking care of you makes all the difference.
Yea, sounds like she’s working for a good company.
@@ffarmchicken sounds like bull hauler 🐂 an ol bull rack going around 🚛 90 mph 😀🤘
BigRig Becca you always seem to have an adventurous time with your pickup/deliveries lol. Love the positive attitude when something happens that would make others blow their lid. Appreciate you sharing your time with us and letting us get to ride along with you and the doggos. Stay safe and see ya next time!
Will there be a time when we can see Becca not having so much issues on the road? Keep grinding girl. I like your attitude even when things are not going smooth. Most people will give up.
Saint Paul is a nightmare to drive in when everything is going well. Keep smiling, you'll get through this. Be safe Becca.
I got into 2 accidents, pulling a 20ft, on the same stretch of road of 494 between 94 and 35w, 50 hours apart!
WOW 😮 that was one hell of a crazy 😜 looking hay load you had there. Glad 🙂 it didn’t fall off between point A to point B!
Hi Big Rig Becca, thanks for the video, we are learning from you, this is so inspiring I tell you that!!
Fortunately you made it to the yard safe with the puppies, I admire you Becca! Stay safe and keep us on the road!!!!
Only put a single row of bales on the top it would lock the bottom together since it's soft sloppy hay. These are softcore bales that werent properly finished they basically cheated the buyer by not making them dense. I'm sure this felt like a very light load like cotton candy.
The farmer used a variable core round baler that doesn’t produce good tight bales, they are a headache to haul. You can tell by the star shaped core versus a tight circular core on the side of the bale. I saw that as soon as you pulled onto the farm. You handled it like a champ! Kudos and well done!
I have not watched the video yet but I will tell you that in the Midwest hay is going to be a very big commodity with the drought we are experiencing.
Appreciate putting yourself out there young lady. A lot of armchair quarterbacks including myself.
Thanks for the videos
I'm a new subscriber, not a trucker. Just enjoy your content and travels. Imagine my surprise when suddenly you're making a drop in my town Virginia, way up in northern Minnesota! I was just in the library across from that school today. Next time, I'll buy you and Ezekiel lunch 😊
BigRigB😎cca that intro was EPIC!! LOVED THIS VIDEO!! Long videos Rule!! Keeping me company as I make my deliveries. You are AWESOME BigRigB😎cca.
🫶 cool vid ! Keep the dirty side down .praying for your and those traveling around you for safe travels
Truck's are unpredictable, I'm picking up my 4th truck in the last 3 weeks! Your videos are good, keep up the good work and just woot woot through the b.s
I've helped load the square bales of hay bfore, but not the round ones & all the ones I've seen are baled tight not loose like those are,the ones that you have are a good hiding spot for snakes & you don't need that especially if you were put your hand on the hole in the middle, the snake could strike you & you would have to go to the hospital to get antivenom & you don't need to do that,so stay safe Becca, see you in your next video
Hey Rebecca..your always happy on the videos at least may God continue to watch over you..
Picked up in WI going down 65 to Winchester Ky. Be safe out there pose to get some rain west side hopefully I’ll miss it. They should’ve loaded them other way that way your straps would’ve kept them in place against the roll if that make sense ahha. The blessing of being LADY TRUCKER all kinds of ppl willing to help lol
Hi Becca
Becca if you do bales of hay again
when you are strapping square bales of hay at the end off them you should cross them that will make them strong and safe
I'm a farm and when we transport them we all cross the straps
When it the round bales of hay your first row they stand on their ends the second row they are rolled over the top of the row
Get several 50' length of rope. You can tighten the ropes any direction. They also make 60' straps to run the front to back. Get a couple of them.
If you take key out pump gas 3 times put key in pump gas 3 times then turn key to electronics on pump 3 times then turn engine on it should reset all ur fault codes 😁
Hey Becca I had the same problem and I guess it’s a recall on the engine break, bc every time I used it that would happen to me and I would have to disconnect the batteries and wait 5 mins and it would go back to normal. I think also them digital screen have to do something with it too my screen would freeze. Be safe out there keep rolling on 🚛
That broker needs to tell that farmer, if he is going to sell hay that needs to be hauled, they need to learn how to bale hay. When I had horses the old guy we bought hay from old equipment, and they were rock solid.
I made hay for 25 years, not alot of money in farming to invest in new equipment unless you are a Monsanto sell out. Anyways alot of different factors can create inconsistent bales.
@therockpile6734 like I said, the old farmer we bought hay from was way tighter than those. The ones on Becca's trailer were all loose. It's not just inconsistency, if they are all like that.
@@SkolValkyrie they get loose from being stored on their sides, they hold shape better when stored on end also those bale spikes make a mess of bales, squeeze bale handlers are better for loading. She didn't have the load strapped front to back to lock the bales in either but it was her first time so can't fault her for that.
@therockpile6734 ok sure, my hubby runs stepdeck and flat bed, he would have rejected that load. There are way better hay loads to haul. Baled correctly, those would never have been like that, no matter how they are stacked. Just the fact they couldn't even be stacked 2 high without wanting to tip tells you they were mushy bales. There is nothing she could have done to strap that any better. Like I said, she would have had every right to reject that load. That mess is on the broker and the buyer that wanted cheap hay, and probably still paid too much. He got shorted probably 100-200lbs per bale of hay by buying loosely baled hay. Hopefully Becca marked that broker off the list.
@@SkolValkyrie well my opinion based on my experience both baling and hauling hay is enough, not going to argue with you about it.
Yea i would definitely talk to your company about getting winches installed on the other side its important with some loads to have the opposing pull i did that with any load i ran
@mp05sc02 That's for sure. I would be after them right now while they have it in for that equipment box they're putting on.
Peppermint essential oil is great for bug bites, it's not instant relief, but within a couple of minutes it does wonders.
"BigRigB😎cca In The HAMMER-LANE" WOW!! that intro was so awesome! I always look forward to your videos. you are the BEST! 😎
Hi Becca, I'm so glad you're still here. I watched one of your recent videos several days ago in which you clearly said you are leaving the Delgado company.
Thanks Becca, I really enjoy watching your vids.
Becca you did a awesome job with your truck issues and you did a great job with your Hay bail problem like a professional hopefully you can get your truck fixed soon 🔜 I just can’t wait to see what your next load will be until then please keep the country of ours running and god bless
Cool quarter-fenders Becca...very nice.
Be safe Becca, and good luck at the truck show.
Truck issues seem to always come up at the worst time. Hopefully they can get your truck fixed so you can go out and do a few miles. A few lessons were learned on this hay load. Every new load will have lessons. At least your company knows that the load was not rolled properly and should have never been loaded on your truck. Well you will know for next time. I wish I was in Houston to meet you. Anywho a big lesson learned on this load. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring.
I would like to know what kind of a company would put a new driver on a load assignment like that, without the proper training. Remember, it is your CDL and your life. If something bad happens to your fellow motorists, they are not the ones that would face potential prison time for criminal charges for negligent homicide.
Becca have you notice at 19:50 you have two man in the background sitting down drinking beer, and watching you work lol?
You're a hard working gal Re-Becca, I appreciate that in you, lots of respect for you!!! 💪🏼💪🏼👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤙🏼🤙🏼
Did wanna come out and meet in Houston truck show, but unfortunately I'm stuck in Indiana now and won't be back in time to Laredo to make it out... stars didn't align for me today... next time I hope..
Hi Becca your in my town sorry for your break down hope you and the puppies are ok and safe
Becca I ve got to say I very much admire your spirit you are able to laugh when things don’t go your way and you don’t I throw the towel in
💜👏 😎👍👍
I like the location editing and other additions to your video. Keep getting creative like that and you will continue to grow.
Hi 👋🏽 Becca and puppies beautiful video Learn something every day and as always you be safe and puppies 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You were in my neck of the woods.. I have delivered logs to that place where you picked up the lumber load. Yes, the mosquito are unruly this year up here.. keep up the positive attitude
Get yourself a strap winder . They sell them at truck stops. Hooks onto the rub rail. Will save you alot of time and make rolling straps easier. They also sell stake pocket winches that you could use on the other side of the trailer. Or just get a few ratches
You are correct. When hauling soft core bales it's best to alternate the straps one side to the other. It will help but it still sucks.
You was close to were I live in Indiana Shelbyville and I grew up about 50 miles from Cuba Missouri
Check the ground bar on the fire wall it’s under the air lines coming through the fire wall. I had the same issue in a 579. It shut down inline inside a warehouse unloading Sheetrock. And then again at a red light. After cleaning the ground bar no more issues.
That’s the Bong Bridge between Duluth and Superior. I just crossed that a couple hours ago. My terminal is right there. I go thru Virginia MN every other week!
I have hauled round bales of hay before I have used v. Boards on them before they will help
Great video Becca
Holy Smokes Becca, what a nightmare of a load, at least your bosses were able to laugh at the attempts to get the falling bales in a stable position.
5:48 The stop sign 🛑 has seen better days.
Hope Cat Scales has become your first stop after loading.. God Bless Congrats on how much you channel has grown.
The rainy music from 12:35 to 12:51 could have been longer imho...nice tune for rain
We usually run two straps from the back of the trailer to the front and those go over the top of the bails and then 2 straps on the front and back
Thanks Becca for all your videos wish I was going to see you at truck show I love watching you on here Wish I was going to be at the truck show I was a Truck Driver for a long time be safe out there !! Can’t wait for your next video I love your dogs be safe out there❤❤❤🐾🐾

That hay haul was little experience for you 😂😂😂 but like your boss said always check and make sure those round nails are roll tight
Thank You best wishes..God Bless
Hay was the keyword here. 39:00 was the gold mine to this video. Learned something here.
Gotta love these new trucks with all their electronics. I'll wave at you while I drive on by in my glider.
Iam Hoping the Best for You Becca🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
At least he’s nice enough to come & fix for U
The bales of hay are baled too loose for stacking double.. you will be extremely lucky to get all of the bales to the receiver.
Becca! Hope you are great! It is like we lived a similar set of delay... we were coming back from Philly and the bus with all of us broke down in the mountain pass tunnel. Beep beep and all that, shut down. haha. You are great! GO BLUE!
Becca ,,you're a good driver and a good worker.... Good to see a hard-working woman...
I'm going through it too. It's not as bad, but shop time is always annoying, lol. 2 rear wheel seals went out about 3 weeks apart. Couple of tires and some trailer issues. Part of the game, though, keep on keepin' on.
Loose bails like that do better standing on end four on four or whatever fits your trailer. Strap them horizontally in clumps and then strap each clump across like you had them to keep them from sliding around on the trailer. If you can overlap the second tier, they will help hold the whole mess together. Better to have hay to hay then the slippery plastic wrap. That is why your load shifted.
Hi sweet all those warning indicators & other indicators going off on your dashboard is called a cluster board✌️😎
HAAYYY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BARNNNNN!!!! That girl doin BIG THANGS
What you do is very inspiring keep it up love your videos...god bless
Hello my friend..how are you please take care while on driving🙏🙏
Tarp, or like a 2x4 on the sides strapped to the bails to balance the load

😊
There office is down the road on the right. I pick up from these guys all the time. I’m from WI. These guys are some winners at this place
Whatttt I seen you broke down! I was loading a artist into the stadium. Glad your alright.
That's b.s. having to peel all those papers off of the load of lumber.😀🇺🇸
yeah, whoever is requiring that can get off their butt and do it for themselves.
I'm not an expert at hay hauling but we always put straps from front to back when hauling on 32' gooseneck and a few straps across the load.
Morning becs 👍🙏 flatbed car carrier 🤪 Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺!!! That load of brick !!! Is the heaveist load hauled !!! By that KW truck!!! Since you started !!! An the automatic transmission in it !!! Not built for that capacity!!! Load !!!! Yet !!!! Anyway drive safe take care keep on trucking ☝️👍🙏💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
Minneapolis is 2 hours north of me! Shout out from Minnesota!!
just fyi next time you pull round bails two strap front two strap back and one every either bail tarp the load and then run strap from front to back one on the left and one one the right and dont pull your straps so tight hay moves the tighter you strap it the more it is going to loosen up been hauling hay for round and square for 20 years just trying to help
The hays doin the gansta lean 😅😂
