I think that the “bounciness” of the original song lends itself really well to this version. Like his vocals are already sort of “choppy,” for lack of a better word, so that’s why I think it works well in a swing rhythm.
It’s also just a high-energy song, and thing makes it even better for boogieing. (That word doesn’t look right, but the dictionary says it is, so oh well!)

it's because of how swing eight notes are played!! I/Me/Myself uses straight eighth notes normally, where they are all the same length. in swing, however, eighth note pairs are weighted differently. each pair feels like a dotted eight and a sixteenth note, which makes the first eighth note feel drawn out (or slower) and the second shorter (or quicker!) it honestly works really well with this song and I'm glad this video exists lmao
