Isn't that how you turn all sportbikes on? Turn the key on, push down on the kill switch and hit the start button. Also, the Duke 200 is a full-sized sportbike, it just has a small engine. I ride mine hard. It's a GREAT bike!

Same here, got mine about 3 weeks ago! Its my first bike and i love it! Sure, i already want a bigger cc bike but i dont regret starting on a duke 200.

RIGHT, the guy has very little time in the saddle !!!

This is terrible commentary. What do you expect for a bike that retails at $4k? You can get them here locally for $3200.

Not sure what the issue was on your 200… I can cruise at 70 -75 on the highway and can top out at 87. Great around town. MPG readout is usually 99.9. Wish it went to 3 digits. No mechanical issues. Best $4K bike out there.

Yeah this guy is an absolute moron. I'm doing 8 mi an hour in 2nd gear 🤣 that's hilarious I'm doing 37 mi an hour in sixth gear and I can't accelerate 😂

The issue is he’s an idiot and phony rider. I’m 238 and hit 80-85 on one. He has NO idea about gear selection and power bands

I did go from a bigger scooter to a smaller Duke 200, but I agree that it feels like a maxi scooter in some way. For the money, its may be the best investment, buying it new from a dealer. No more costly repair for a long while, and great gas mileage. I install a windshield and a 4.2 litre rear top case. In every way it replace my old scooter. I hardly ever use first gear, you can start off in second gear with no problem. 2nd gear up to 15mph 3rd to 25mph, 4th to 30mph, 5th up to 40mph, and 6th up to 80mph, roughly. The bike looks racy, but it really just a economizer commuter city bike. I also replace the thicker seats, and that took out all the hard bump.
It does have bad mirrors and crappy dash. Getting a good size Givi windsheild made it much more comfortable to go beyond 60mph.

You should never have to look down to operate any of the controls especially the indicators. This is one of the first things you learn in the MSF course.

I rebuilt a 1973 Honda CB 200T several years ago and turned it into a cafe style motorcycle. Top speed was around 70 mph but such a blast getting there. Although my main motorcycles have always been bigger, I'm seriously considering getting one of these for commuting. The guy riding here is pretty critical of this one but I think he's being a little unreasonable considering it is not supposed to be a full on sports bike. I saw one at the dealership and I thought it looked outstanding. Being that it is only $4k New I don't really see any downside to picking one up for back and forth to work. My car gets about 15mpg, so the bike will completely pay for itself in real time. Also be a good pit bike for when we go to the track, I'm sold.

This commentary is cringe worthy. The rider isn’t taking into consideration what he is riding and how it compares to bikes in its same class. Obviously the 1290 he previously rode is going to have more power and be more refined. Ridiculous.
I wonder if this guy has ever rode a Honda Grom? This bike has more than doubled horsepower of the Grom.

Assuming this guy knows how to shift gears and you’re going 20 and you “floor it”and the bike doesn’t move. You might be a little too big for that motorcycle.

My 2023 will do 20 in 1st gear and it's still governed until I take it in for its 1st service at 600 miles

From the get-go, the guy doesn’t even turn the key on to start the bike. So you know where this video is going?
