I’m so glad my videos are helpful! What flexibility skills are you working on? 💖 For cheer tryouts, I generally default-recommend getting your side splits and a wide straddle, since both will help you with jumps (and stunting)
hey Erica first off I LOVE your videos. its my first year of cheerleading on a team and not just tumbling classes. so ive been trying to get my right split. I got like half an inch off the ground. I pushed myself to go all the way down. I did but now I have a pain in the back of my leg above my knee. its gotten a little better but im losing my leg flexibility do you have tips? AND PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING VIDEOS! :)))))

I'm a dancer and I'm not very flexible at all. So, I've been trying out your routines and they're really working. Thank you so much! But, when I go into a split (I'm not all the way down) it sorta pulls on the knee of my back leg and it hurts. Is that normal?
try to stretch little by little every day as far as you can but don't do it if it hurts because then you won't be able to do anything for days and you will undo all your progress.
I need help with my back flexibility cause I can't get my back bend and everytime I try to do the back bend, I collapse on the floor... Any advice to help me achieve my back bend so I can do a backwalk over, front walk over, etc???😐😐😐
Erica, the one where you basically flip your legs inside out is actually REALLY bad for your knees. I used to sit like that, "w sit" as my parents would call it, and now I have to go to physical therapy. My knees now permanently turn in, and it's hard for me to do many things. SAVE YOURSELF WHILE YOU CAN!
Plz can u do a tutorial on how to do a. press handstand/ handstand/ cartweel I can't do any of them as I don't go to gymnastics I just try to teach my self at home

Your videos are amazing 😍 when I started doing stretches for front splits ( I am able to do the side splits and have good back flexibility but could never do front splits) like the butterfly etc, my hips started cracking and lock,at first just when stretching so I stopped doing those stretches but my hip still crack. It's like if I move my hips a certain way they lock so I have to pop them.do you think this is because I stretched wrong or something else? 😊

But I've been really thinking about it and I want to get in good shape and become flexible. Are there any extra tips for beginners you can help me with? Plus, I don't have a completely flat stomach or super nice legs so some of these positions are hard to do.

+manushi tanna I think its normal... But you also have to make sure you stretched enough before splitting so that you do not hurt yourself :)

sometimes i can do the splits all the way down and sometimes i dont (is really frustrating) and I stretch a lot :(
Maybe you have problem warming up your muscles! Well, i need to sweat (!!!) -No kidding- to do the splits... be super careful, hope it helped!
