+Alli H I think you would be a great flyer! We are both around the same size, and come from a dance/flexibility background. Take coed stunting privates - learning to balance in the air might be a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze! 💖
Alli H if you are in a higher level you would most definitely be a great flyer also remember your weight doesn’t matter that much as long as you can balance yourself

I usually stretch first, that's my personal preference. However, if you find that having your muscles warmed up helps you stretch, do the exercise portion first. 👍
Stay REALLY tight when you go to extension. You could also have your coaches base you in an extension - they’ll be more experienced so it’ll be easier to stabilize!

This is a nice video! But very extreme i recommend that if you hold each stretch for 30 seconds and hold splits for as long as you can and working to this do not push yourself this hard at first work your way into it!
So I am a new flyer for my high school cheer team and when I go into preps I drop my butt. My coaches keep telling me to fix it but they don't tell me how. How can I stop dropping my butt????
Weigh doesn't really matter tbh. I've based a 100 pound girl and a 140 pound girl before. I mean yeah it's good to keep in shape for cheer but it comes down to keeping tight and holding your weight as a flyer and the bases will love you.

You would be great but you have to be comfortable with hights be confident have balance and be very sharp

Size/weight doesn’t determine whether or not someone is a good flyer. Show your coach your skills and ask to try some stunts! 👍
