    Finally. Someone who mounts his bounce card the LOGICAL way and not on the broad side of the flash. Thank you, good sir.

    I found black felt squares adhesive backing at Michaels and used that on the back instead of the black foam. It cost the same and I didn't need to buy the spray adhesive. Great project. Thanks!

    Works great!!.. I printed the template on white cardboard and cut it out straight and I used rubber band instead of the Velcro. It works like a charm. If you need this quick you can have it that way for personal use. You don't wana show up in wedding with a camera with rubber band and cardboard it tho. :) Lol

    sweet DIY and I saved a ton of coin of the realm. One thing that I didn't like was the spray adhesive. I let the sheets set overnight with a heavy box on top. next day the sheets didn't stick together. they slipped and that's when my problem began. I lined up the sheets and placed the box on them. Maybe I applied too much adhesive. I should have worn gloves because I got adhesive on my hands. I used Goof Off to remove the adhesive. It was a learning experience and you helped. Thanks. I made another bounce card but I used staples. Covered the staple points with black tape. Thanks.

    Nice explanation. Great job. You can turn around the bounce card to the black side to block light too. Very useful piece. Love it!

    This is great. Just wish I saw it before ordering the Lite Genius Lite-Scoop yesterday. I may make one anyway just for comparison.

    Nice. I seem to end up with a black line when I use a bounce card. Any idea why?

    I’ve been planning to make something similar. I’ve managed to obtain a sample swath of movie theater screen material...just as white and smooth as the white foam, but I believe it will be more reflective (since reflecting light is the main job of a movie theater screen).

    How can ya add a little bit of forward curvature to it ... like the LightScoop has?

    Good video., but the shadows are still a bit harsh. A bigger bounce card would soften further.

    This foam is same as what they use as mouse pad? Or shoe pad?

    Please watch Peter Gregg on his studio pro bounce card. I would love to be able to make one for a lot less than the $50 or more he is charging now. Can you come up with a template for that size please? Thank you.

    • @30fivemm
      @30fivemm  6 років тому +1

      You can just make the top larger and wider. Keep the same holes and bottom and you should be good

      I'll have to get bigger sheets of craft foam to be about his size.
