Hi Stephen! I do love your videos a lot, especially the ones where you show how to build shortcuts and suggest apps and how to improve your iphone to have everything just in one screen - which is something that i love too! I used to have an iPhone 11 pro and I recently bought the iPhone 15 pro max which is... another world. I do have a couple of - I'm sure they are very stupid and basics, but from a 11 pro to a 15 pro max a looot has changed - questions: I only use dark mode, but having just a completely black lock and home screen with widgets "hidden" because are stacked and hidden with some another black widget too might be, let's say, very minimalistic but also quite sad. I just wanted to have the classic wallapaper - the color one that you have - but I didn't see any difference in dark mode: so, is there a way to make it darker and blur both the lock and home screen wallpaper? Second question: by following your video I'm building a lot of shortcuts and I love them. I do have the widget too but how do you achieve to have more shortcuts widget? I made folders too, but If I move a shortcut (in the shortcut app) or I add more of them, when I try to add the widget with the new ones they do not appear. It's like the iPhone, according to the size of the widgets, decides to pick only the first two (small widgets), the first 4 (middle widget) and so on... I do use the biggest widget for shortcuts, but I cannot stack the new ones that I made. Sorry for my English, it's not my native language and explaining all this stuff was not easy at all, so please do accept my apologies. I do hope that you have understand and if you can redirect me maybe to an old video that I might haven't seen. Thank you very much in advance. Cheers from Italy!

Use an Open URL action and input the url I mentioned. I also have a link to download that shortcut directly in the description!
hi thank you for the video and for the useful Information. i want to ask you about focus mode , i ride a lot with my bike is the a focus mode that when it connects with my bike to go directly to the (bike focus mode) i ll create or do i have to do it manually? and in my Standard home page or lock screen i gave password to unlock my phone is there an option that when it goes to my biker focus doesn't need the passcode ? face id sucks with helmet on :P

Thanks! Unfortunately it looks like if Sirius XM doesn’t have widgets built-in to their app, I don’t see another way to display the now playing.
I imagine it should appear in the Control Center “Now Playing” box though!

I have a question for you: the whole using an app to trigger a focus... does it not work on the Watch? I use Workoutdoors on my watch and have a focus set to turn on when I use that app, but it never engages. Thanks!
Hey, I don't think the open app trigger will work with Watch apps, unfortunately.
I’m new to shortcuts so I’m not sure if it’s possible but is there a way that I can set up how files are saved by adding a tag in folders?
You can choose a specific folder, but I don't believe there's a way to specify a tag in Shortcuts.
Good Morning on the today's view page how do you get the 4 widgets in the one area I am confused when I create it the widget only shows 2 apps instead of 4?

What delivery tracking app do you use? I had Deliveries, but with the lost of FedEx AND UPS a while ago I just go to each service app. I gotta find something new. Haven’t found something yet
I use Deliveries still, but no app is really useful in the U.S. with FedEx and UPS omitting their data. I've ended up going to their first party apps more often now

Can you make a shortcut so that you can start your tesla for example?
There are Shortcut actions for everything but start the engine it looks like. You can set the temperature, precondition the vehicle, unlock / open doors, etc.
Could you explain how to setting up apps on homecreen in each mode which I did't see anyone explain how to do this and this is not ultimate guide anymore

I added the Contacts widget to my iPhone 15 Pro, but it only shows one contact. How do I add multiple contacts like you have (or my favorites)?
Tap and hold on the widget after you’ve added it to your home screen, then edit and you should have more options!

Have you considered a folder in the dock with the Apps that are in your existing shortcut?
I prefer the look of a custom icon to a folder, and if you go past 9 options the folder will require a swipe to scroll through. So I'm good with the menu!

With iOS 16 and later you can add multiple instances of the same app to the same or multiple home screens! Just drag from a Spotlight search or the App Library

What delivery app are you using to track all your packages?
I use deliveries, but FedEx and other carriers no longer support the API. But it works great for UPS and Amazon packages still

Question on my main screen I have face ID to unlock my phone... If I make a new focus mode when I ride my bike can I disable the face I'd only in the specific focus?
Oh that’s a great idea. Unfortunately there are no actions specifically for that. Best you can do is create a shortcut that jumps into those settings directly. But you’ll need to manually toggle / put in your passcode, etc

In the focus mode, incoming calls will bot go through and will appear as if the number is busy or engaged, can we do any thing to give the caller impression of a ringing call without actually receiving it??

That’s a feature of Fantastical when entering a specific event. It’s the stock iOS keyboard otherwise

You can still choose specific Home Screen per focus mode! You just have to create them first, and then you can hide / show only the ones you want.

And how do you change the apps places from normal mode to ur focus mode??(eg. There no podcast widget in the normal mode but there is podcast widget in your evening mode with some other apps)

Go to Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown callers! They will still be able to leave voicemails but calls won't come through.

I just switch from a regular Samsung S23 to a Iphone 15 Pro Max, and the customization on a Iphone is pretty worse in my opion.. It feels like Apple determines how I want my own layout in the phone. And it looks so standard..
@XtraTerrestrial_519 iMessage and FaceTime is hot in America, but less hot in the rest of the world. WhatsApp is the king 👑. I’m not staying with a IPhone just because iMessage and FaceTime because I don’t care about those two features so as many people.

I'd say the opposite: if you can't stand the display of an accurate battery level, then you're the one with mental issues. And the vast majority of users, regardless of smartphone brand, have a battery percentage displayed. Does it annoy you to descend to insults? This again shows that you may be the one with the problem, not the ones you're passing judgement on.
