- The Henderson tire machine was made in the late 40's or early 50's. It was in need of some major repairs and updating.

I beat I still will use DT when I need a set of 4. But sure is handy for odds and ends. That inflator gets the job done and would make one mean potato gun too . Thanks PAPA

Slick old tire machine. I have one similar that has a pneumatic bead breaker on it, but it only does the bottom so you have to flip the tire anyway. It cost more for the tapered nut than it did for the whole machine!

The inflator is almost like an air cannon and sure makes it much easier to inflate a new tire. Thanks Steve

This tire I mounted for the Studebaker PU, later I mounted 2 for the front of the VW. Thanks Vernon

Hey Rusty. I have an old tire machine like that in my shop as well. My father-in-law gave it to me about 30 years ago. It only works with the old rims though. The newer rims and different. Nice job on fixing it up. That's a cool trick with the air pig. I will have to remember that. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Mason, the Studebaker car has a 350 ci engine with a mild performance cam and dual exhaust. I had also installed fuel injection. Take care

Even old tools are functioning effectively as the current tools.

That is a great old machine and I really like the mounting bracket you made. We were thinking of making something similar for our machine so it is great to see how well it works. Our local tyre shop uses one of those air up machines, they are great as many of the tyres we get come from overseas and they are packed very flat for shipping. You did a fantastic job rebuilding this

No it didn't get stuck. I would rather use the tire machine than pay someone $20 or more to dismount and mount. Thanks Rick and take care

That turned out great and works well, love the truck tire inflator trick to get the beads to set. But I am glad I don't have to do that for 8 hour a day.

Is the brake pod pull the center rod down to hold pressure on the will?

Yes , the center rod moves down to hold the wheel tight while removing the tire. I have an air pressure regulator to limit the force on the wheel
