I have seen them twice in concert and yes; they have a world champion beat boxer Adam Rupp making the drum noises with his mouth! They are absolutely amazing!!!!
For the Home Free family, it gives us the greatest pleasure to experience all over again, through the faces and emotions of others, our own first moment of discovery of these fantastic singers. Home Free is not only on the cutting edge of acapella excellence; they also bring a wholesome and life-affirming feel and spirit to everything they touch, and at the same time have more fun doing it than any other ten groups combined.
Welcome to Home Free !!! You'll really enjoy these guys...they lean a little country but they sing all genres. Some recommendations....Brothers in Arms, One-Man Band, Amazed, How Great Thou Art, & something funny of theirs Workin' for a livin....these guys are great artists, but they also can have fun...and be a little goofy, so be ready to laugh sometimes !!! They really are a phenomenon
Welcome to the wonderful talent of Home Free! This video featured an extra friend of theirs named Avi Kaplan who at the time was from another a capella group called Pentatonix, he also sings really low (bass). The Home Free members in this video are Tim Foust (very low bass voice at the end), Adam Rupp (beatboxer making all those percussion/drum sounds), Rob Lundquist (tenor, guy with beard and glasses), Austin Brown (very high tenor) and Chris Rupp (guy with cowboy hat on the entire video). Chris founded the group with his brother Adam and leaves the band for a solo career in 2016 so in later videos you will see Adam Chance (goes by Chance). Short history lesson. lol
Sorry Scott! I didn't see your comment before I typed pretty much the same thing but, as always, it takes me many more words, for some reason, to say what others say in half the words! Anyway, I didn't mean to "copy off your paper"! 😊
This song is done in a reggae calypso beat. It showcases the higher & lower ranges of both Tim Foust & Avi Kaplan. That last note of Tim is impressive with how low he goes, but more impressive is how long he sustains the note. On the "Sing Off Show" that Home Free won in 2013 Tim goes even lower on this song "Ring Of Fire" & he impressed the judges so much that they gave them a standing ovation. And Adam Rupp once again was stellar in his vocal percussion.
Great reaction and thanks for sharing. Home Free is an amazing group of singers. Check out 'Man of Constant Sorrow', Helplessly Hoping, Folsom Prison Blues and so many more. They cover all styles, country, gospel, pop, r&b, rock, and so much more. Take a long look. They also have an amazing sense of humor with songs like 'All about that Bass', the Butts Remix, Sea Shanty, etc. Chris
Love your reactions! Love this group!! Try more of their songs, they do them justice. Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Mary Do You Know, End of the Road, there are so many. Thank you!
Home Free performs many different genres of music. They have pop, classical, R&B, rock and folk songs in their catalog of videos. They have quite a few original songs that the members have written besides all of the music they have covered,.
You won't regret pursuing your Home Free journey. They never disappoint and are 5 of the most talented, good guys in the music arena. Their fans are called Home Fries and we adore "our guys" and are extremely loyal. Anxious to watch you discover how wonderful they are.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. The group has been around for 20+years and they have over 150 videos just on UA-cam and can sing anything from country to gospel and even r&b it's a fun ride.
Welcome to the best rabbit hole out there. I discovered then a year ago and have since seen them in concert and they are phenomenal. So glad you enjoyed loved your reaction!
So fun to see someone new experience this band...they are my favorites. I will be glad to watch you learn more about their talent. Most people start with their cover of 'Man of Constant Sorrow', but you really can't go wrong no matter what you choose; there are so many wonderful choices in their catalog. Enjoy.
Home Free is amazing - You should really listen to their songs “Man of Constant Sorrow,” “Brothers in Arms,” “Mayday,” “One Man Band” “Butts Remix,” “Hillbilly Bone,” and “Elvira” for some real fun! Thanks for the reaction video, as a Home Fry myself I am always glad to see someone finding them for the first time!
Awesome reaction!!! Welcome to Home Free.. suggestions When a Man Loves a Woman, How Great Thou Art, Amazed, a)l Great songs no matter what you picked from their 150+ songs you can't go wrong
Welcome to the world of home free! We invite you to go down the rabbit hole of the varied music that home Free provides to their hungry listeners! I would suggest that you would listen to Man of constant sorrow next followed by end of the road, then try helplessly hoping and go to Elvira with The oak ridge boys. That will give you a good start to what home Free is capable of doing! Enjoy the journey!
Home Free is wonderful. You will also enjoy Pentatonix (Avi Kaplan, featured in this song) and also VoicePlay. These are all world class Acapella groups who all have a beatboxer who does the vocal percussion.
Welcome to Home Free. Any song you pick from them will be great. They are so talented and entertaining. Can't Stop the Feeling is a good feel good video of theirs that always makes me feel better. I will look for more Home Free reactions from you and will gladly sub if you do more.
Loved your reaction from Tennessee USA! Your reacting to Home Free today was my birthday present so thank you!!! I subscribed a few days ago on one of your John Farnham reactions. Home Free is my favorite group & John Farnham is my favorite solo singer so I'm a happy lady!!! Home Free is the greatest a cappella group ever & they are humble, kind & incredibly talented just like John! I can't wait to see you react to many more Home Free videos! They have about 200 videos on UA-cam if you include Tim Foust's (the low basso profundo at the very end with a 5+ octave range) & Austin Browns' (the high tenor) solos on their individual channels. Just so you won't be confused, any video BEFORE 2016 is going to have one of the co-founders, Chris Rupp, who usually wears a hat or cap or you'll see his bald head! His brother, the other co-founder, is the amazing championship beat boxer / vocal percussionist, Adam Rupp. Chris left in 2016 to pursue a solo career & was replaced by Adam Chance (called "Chance" to avoid confusion of having 2 Adams) who sings anywhere from tenor to bass but is their baritone. Rob Lundquist with big beard & glasses is the smooth tenor & is very versatile. There is NO lead singer & no egos. They choose the best voice for each song & it's always perfect! You have a huge variety to choose from & their fans (called "Home Fries") are loyal & follow them anywhere! You'll be a "Home Fry" very soon!😊
WOW! Happy Birthday!!!! 🎂🌻🍾 Hope you had an amazing day! We actually discovered Home Free thanks to you! 😀 We just done another reaction video and not stopping there! 😉...Thank you for your support and nice words! 💚😍
Home Free, Pentatonix, and Voice Play - the holy trinity of a capella. Adam Rupp is the vocal percussionist. He's in a league of his own. There's no one like him. There are good reasons he's called "a freak of nature" and "the man who swallowed a drum kit." World champion beat boxer twice. Your next reaction should be Ain't Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up. You'll be amazed at the no- harmonica harmonica. It's on Facebook, though, not UA-cam.
It's the beat boxer, Adam Rupp, that is making all those sounds that amaze you! I loved your reaction, I'm subscribing and looking forward to seeing more. Hello from Canton, Ohio USA.
Great reaction! I love it when people discover Home Free. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Robb Lundquist (beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They just released Unchained Melody. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole! New subscriber!!
Home Free is a cappella so no instruments. Their beatboxer Adam is amazing and can do drums, harmonica and other noises. He’s amazing. Watch Adam Rupp Drum Solo (2015). He’ll knock your socks off. They can all sing and all have beautiful voices and take the lead depending on the song. They are a country band but sing all genres of music. Try Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, Die a Happy Man to hear more great harmonies. Good reaction.
The "drums" sound is called "Beat Boxing" and it you want to see someone who can really make you think there is a drum kit hidden somewhere in the background check out Pentatonix . ANY of their songs will blow you away.
Loved your reaction to your first Home Free performance, and I look forward to your future Home Free videos! Your next selection should be, Man of Constant Sorrow! Thanks for sharing!
The bass singer who put on the cowboy hat at the end of the song is Avi Kaplan, who was a member of the a cappella group Pentatonix at that time. After filming this video he hung with his friends a bit and was there when the group filmed Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget either later that day or the next. Avi made three quick appearances there, not as a performer, just set down the flute, walked throughs and sat on the bull at the rear. That song, along with the sequel called Full of Cheer were written by Tim Foust, Home Free's bass singer. Don't expect the seriousness you got with Ring of Fire; these boys can get totally silly. But their music never suffers.
Great reaction! Love to see when people get introduced to one of theses great groups! You should check out more of their songs, none of them will disappoint! I only ask you to get to know the group and learn who does what before checking out the song “Mayday”. It’s a great song but need to learn the group before hearing it! If you ever get to see them in person, do it! Got to see them for the 1st time 2 weeks ago and such a great fun show!
Welcome to the world of Home Free. You are really going to enjoy your journey as you go through their unbelievable music videos. They are the best at what they do. Once you gone through a number of their videos, you will realize each one gets better than the one before. They are just fantastic. Then you begin to wonder how great they are on stage live, so you begin to react to their live stage videos and then you just can't wait to go see them live. It is a great journey. I suggest the next video you react to is A Man Of Constant Sorrow.
Great reaction to this one! New sub for more Home Free - you won't be sorry because they are terrific no matter what song you choose. Adam is their beatboxer and they say he swallowed a drum set! 🥁
Howdy from Texas. Please react to Home Free Man of Constant Sorrow next. You will hear even more from all these talented gentlemen as they all get to show off their skills.
Loved your reaction! There are a lot of great Home Free songs in the comments. You will enjoy any of them and we Home Fries will enjoy watching your reactions. But some of the things you two spoke of make me think you need to watch the beatboxer, Adam Rupp, in one of his solo performances. He is amazing. Here is a link: ua-cam.com/video/EanKWLUaDpg/v-deo.html There are many to choose from as he performs a solo in their concerts, but to me, the linked one has the best sound quality. He has conquered many more sounds since this video was recorded, castanets, for one.
Adam Rupp is doing most of the "percussion". He is arguably the best beatboxer in pop music groups. You could try his 2015 drum solo live while on tour. And that was 7 years ago! He can do some amazing things. Try their "Man Of Constant Sorrow" and "Working For A Living" to see some of his tricks. Tim Foust is the bass from this group and the guest bass is Avi Kaplan from Pentatonix, with the beanie. Their success is partially in the arrangements but also in their speed and flexibility to switch between various sound tasks. And they would be nowhere without their great ability to blend, match vowel sounds and all the other standard a Capella skills. Pentatonix, Avi's group, is also amazing and take on some seemingly impossible songs, such as some EDM music in Daft Punk and a rock ballad in the famous Bohemian Rhapsody. With all the drums in Bohemian, that means Pentatonix also has an amazing beatboxer.
People are going to push you to use headphones if you continue listening to acapella groups like Home Free. You really should do it if possible. You miss so much without them.
Really love your reactions! They are so fresh and honest! Your facial expressions are your best words! I think you’re both becoming fans! You’ll soon have become “Home Fries” without even realizing it!! Watch the video of How Great Thou Art “. filmed in the Austrian!! I’m sure you will enjoy it! Their beatboxer sings in this video. Can’t wait for your next reaction ,!!!!! ,
Check out Home Free's In The Blood, How Great Thou Art, Blue Ain't Your Color, Champagne Taste and even though it is not the holiday season, you need to check out Auld Lang Syne and Full of Cheer.
Hi from North East England, welcome to the best bunch of fans, we are all Home Fries and enjoy watching new reactors to Home Free tumble down that rabbit hole. 🐇 just subbed and looking forward to your next video of these wonderful young men.
These guy's are exelent and I loved you're reaction but I must admit I was hoping it would take longer for someone to request them. I've heard every song they have done reacted to 30+times.
I just subscribed for more HOME FREE Welcome to HOME FREE !! HOME FREE is a county A Capella band (NO INSTRUMENTS) that does more than just country. Tim Foust, the bass (5 octave range) , Adam Rupp, the beatboxer (freak of nature), Adam Chance (Chance) is the baritone/bass, since 2016, he took over for Chris Rupp (one of the founders of the group), Rob Lundquist, tenor and Austin Browmn high tenor make up the voices of angels. PLEASE listen to more.. If I know my Home Free family well (Home Fries) , they have already given you suggestions of music. LOL Thanks for the reaction
Ear buds will never compare to over the ear headphones. Would highly suggest using them from now on when you listen to Home Free. They are unmatched in their harmony blends. You have only just started the journey. Enjoy walking the path.
You must see how great thou art and Folsom City blues which is from an old old movie. When a Man loves a woman amazing! I could go on and on you can't go wrong!
"Home Free - Man of Constant Sorrow" this is Cover. And if your interested in understanding the way home Free does their music with their mouths. " Home Free drum solo" this is beatboxing and they won the championship 🏆
Glad to bump into your reaction channel....By way of Home Free of course.... I like your appreciation of the acapella and wonderment.....so to dispel any questions....Seek Adam Rupp drum solo....During one of their live performances.....He's amazing.
Adam Rupp is their beat boxer and is a world champ. He has videos to react to showing his skills. Adam Chance in this group is the baritone and can make sounds. Tim Faust is the bass and Austin Brown and Rob Lindquist are tenors. Tim can be a tenor too :)
This is a great video but I still prefer the version our HF fellas sang for their third performance on the 4th season of The Sing Off. It just showcases their strengths even better than this one--in my humble opinion. ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ (This one does also feature Avi Kaplan--another exceptional bass--who has been mentored in bass excellence by Home Free's Tim Foust.)
"Home Free - When A Man Loves A Woman" and "Home Free - Seven Bridges Road" since you are enjoying home Free so much, I wanted to suggest a couple more songs for you to react too. They have an extensive collection and would be a great rabbit hole to go down. Have a great day and give Arnold a pat on the head from me too. 😉😁
UA-cam recommended your reaction to BlackPink. Before I watch it, I checked your previous videos. Yay! Home Free! I enjoyed watching your surprise and amazement... Since you seem fascinated with Adam's background beatboxing, there's a YT? Video of his solo beatboxing.
I’ve seen them in concert. Sounds the same. See the video of Adam Rupp by himself beatboxing. You’ll get it then. Then watch Home Free Man of Constant Sorrow.
I have been watching reaction videos for some time now. You guys are the first I have contacted. I'm excited to see what is in store for you. Keep it real (my sense is you couldn't do otherwise), and I think you will go a long way in your enterprise. As a favor to me, please react to The Righteous Brothers "Unchained Melody" Thanks.
I really appreciated your reactions. You both really work well together. Would love to hear your reactions to God bless the USA, in the blood, helplessly hoping, how great thou art, the Butts remix. Thanks!
I see you seem doubtful about the lack of instruments. If you look on the Internet, you will see that Home Fred's beat boxer (the one who makes the instrument-like sounds) performing by himself on stage. He really can do it.
You guys are so cute I enjoy watching your reactions. But you need to watch a video by Adam Rupp the beatboxer who makes the many sounds which will answer your questions about the musical Instruments that you think you hear. Also you should watch the video titled Home Free all Sing off Performances Reactions. That’s when they were in the sing off. That exact title of the video will show you each of their songs they sang and the judges reactions to each song. It’s really good But there are several videos of the sing off out there however the one I listed here is the only video that I’ve seen that has the judges reactions.
PLEASE bless yourselves and continue to react to Home Free. They are completely amazing.
I have seen them twice in concert and yes; they have a world champion beat boxer Adam Rupp making the drum noises with his mouth! They are absolutely amazing!!!!

All added to the list! We cannot wait to do some more of their work! 😍
And Adam Rupp's drum solo!

You will be amazed at their talent. They can be serious or fun.
It's the beat boxer, Adam Rupp, that is making all those sounds that amaze you! I loved your reaction, I'm subscribing and looking forward to seeing more. Hello from Canton, Ohio USA.

Here is a link: ua-cam.com/video/EanKWLUaDpg/v-deo.html
There are many to choose from as he performs a solo in their concerts, but to me, the linked one has the best sound quality. He has conquered many more sounds since this video was recorded, castanets, for one.
Thank you for this. Will definitely check it out! We enjoy discovering Home Free songs! 😊
We use headphones for our reaction videos. You probably can't see them cos they're small. 👍
Can’t wait for your next reaction

Glad you like them!😍💚
Check out Home Free's In The Blood, How Great Thou Art, Blue Ain't Your Color, Champagne Taste and even though it is not the holiday season, you need to check out Auld Lang Syne and Full of Cheer.
The drum sounds are made by a two time beatboxing champion Adam Rupp, who is a co founder of the group !!!

Loved your reaction!
Thanks a lot! We just did Man of Constant Sorrow! So much fun! 😋
Michael Winslow is an actor and beat boxer in the movie Police Academy in 1984. An he is really great!

PLEASE listen to more.. If I know my Home Free family well (Home Fries) , they have already given you suggestions of music. LOL Thanks for the reaction
Thank you for the sub and warm welcome! We just react to another Home Free song! LOVED IT! 💓
Ear buds will never compare to over the ear headphones. Would highly suggest using them from now on when you listen to Home Free. They are unmatched in their harmony blends. You have only just started the journey. Enjoy walking the path.
Noted!😉
You must see how great thou art and Folsom City blues which is from an old old movie. When a Man loves a woman amazing! I could go on and on you can't go wrong!
We home fry's love our home free 🍟🍟❣️💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Home Free - Man of Constant Sorrow" this is Cover. And if your interested in understanding the way home Free does their music with their mouths. " Home Free drum solo" this is beatboxing and they won the championship 🏆
Reaction to Man of Constant Sorrow it's up on our channel now! Great stuff!! 👍😀
Glad to bump into your reaction channel....By way of Home Free of course....
I like your appreciation of the acapella and wonderment.....so to dispel any questions....Seek Adam Rupp drum solo....During one of their live performances.....He's amazing.
Welcome to Home Free! Thank you ^_^
Our pleasure!😀💓
The Bass with the beard, is guest Avi Kaplin used to be in Pentatonix.
Adam Rupp is their beat boxer and is a world champ. He has videos to react to showing his skills. Adam Chance in this group is the baritone and can make sounds. Tim Faust is the bass and Austin Brown and Rob Lindquist are tenors. Tim can be a tenor too :)
Adam Rupp is the vocal percussionist / beatboxer/whatever he wants! You have to check out Adam drum solo live. You will be so confused! And amazed!
This cover features Avi Kaplan (the original bass of Pentatonix not a member of Home Free) which is why there are 6 people singing.
Loved your reaction...I just subbed for more Home Free! Check out their cover of My Church....you will enjoy it!
Thank you for the sub! More Home Free on its way! 😍💚
Y'all need to see Adam live doing the drum solo
This is a great video but I still prefer the version our HF fellas sang for their third performance on the 4th season of The Sing Off. It just showcases their strengths even better than this one--in my humble opinion. ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
(This one does also feature Avi Kaplan--another exceptional bass--who has been mentored in bass excellence by Home Free's Tim Foust.)
Can't help but notice you haven't reacted to The Righteous Brothers yet. They won't disappoint you.
You guys would love Dolly Parton, Coat of Many Colours. Love from Ecosse 🏴
You have to watch Adam Rupp’s drum solo. He’s the beatboxer. You’ll see how he makes all of the sounds. You’ll love it. 😊
Thank you! Arnold says hello! 😜🐶
You would love VoicePlay (something like If I Were a Rich Man/Girl) or Pentatonix (maybe try Hallelujah).
Adam Rupp is the best boxer- drummer for home free. He did a video of him doing a drum solo. It will blow your mind.
Now you need to listen to them sing Man of Constant Sorrow
Just did! 💚
UA-cam recommended
your reaction to BlackPink.
200 videos from these guys!! Please react to more. They have world tours! 🌎
More to come! We are so happy we discovered them! 💓😀
Welcome aboard! And thank you so much for your kind comment!! We are flattered! 💚😍💚 We added your recommendation to our list! 😉
You need to listen to Boyz to Men End of the Road. They killed it!
I really appreciated your reactions. You both really work well together. Would love to hear your reactions to God bless the USA, in the blood, helplessly hoping, how great thou art, the Butts remix. Thanks!
Adam Rapp is fenomenal
I see you seem doubtful about the lack of instruments. If you look on the Internet, you will see that Home Fred's beat boxer (the one who makes the instrument-like sounds) performing by himself on stage. He really can do it.
React to home free drum solo from 7 yrs ago!!! you will be amazed!
He is a beat boxer
Watch their beatboxer, Adam Rupp do a drum solo on UA-cam. There are several to pick from.
You want to see what Adam Rupp can do, He's Home free's Beat boxer. Pull up, Adam Rupp Drum solo. Hear what he can do.
please react to 'misty mountain'
You guys are so cute I enjoy watching your reactions. But you need to watch a video by Adam Rupp the beatboxer who makes the many sounds which will answer your questions about the musical Instruments that you think you hear. Also you should watch the video titled Home Free all Sing off Performances Reactions. That’s when they were in the sing off. That exact title of the video will show you each of their songs they sang and the judges reactions to each song. It’s really good But there are several videos of the sing off out there however the one I listed here is the only video that I’ve seen that has the judges reactions.
Thanks for that! We hope to check Adam soon! 😍
@@MerchantOfAlba I have a video of Adam Rupp doing a solo, it’s great. I hope you see this. Here’s the video.
