I really liked Kotetsu’s attitude towards Kaede’s ambitions, how he very clearly articulated that he isn’t sure of his thoughts yet and needs time to process. He’s struggled a lot communicating his side and feelings in the past, so it’s great to see him step up. Glad Barnaby was there to offer support too :)
Fatherhood is still Wild Tiger's only weakness, no matter how powerful his dad jokes are.

子供が自分と同じ仕事したいって親からしたら凄い嬉しいことなんだけど命掛けとなったらそりゃ複雑な気持ちになるな
そもそも能力は優秀だけど不安定な部分も大きい、触った人の能力をコピーと言う汎用性が高い能力、デメリットはコピーの容量が一つしか無く、他人に触れたら能力も変わると言う点（ヒロアカの物間のコピーをピーキーにしたような物、但し時間制限がないので物間と違う利点もある）いきなり能力が変わって自滅もあり得る厄介な面もある（実際虎徹も能力がなんなのか分からなかった、ハンドレッドパワーと思いきや周囲の物を引き寄せる能力に変わったりと、安定性が無い）

I thought Kaede wanted to be a professional ice skater why does she want to be a hero I'm asking because I doubt she really wants to follow in her father's footsteps?
@@smoothjack3249 She states here that she wants to go to Hero Academy and follow in Kotetsu's footsteps (essentially). The rest of this scene has Kotetsu telling Kaede that he is struggling with this idea, and we learn later in the episode about how Anju (Kotetsu's mother) worries about him too, and how she handles his dangerous job of being a hero.
Kaede may have wanted to pursue professional ice skating at the start of Season 1, but kids dreams for the future change all the time. Plus, I believe learning that her father was Wild Tiger and everything involving the climax of Season 1, really changed her perspective of things. Her gaining NEXT powers also likely changed her views on things as well, and has caused her to change her future dreams and desired profession.
Also the events of the tiger and bunny rising movie motivated kaede to be a hero.

汎用性が高いというより、「器用貧乏」な能力。
オリジナルで扱い慣れてる人には敵わない。何者でもなれる代わりに、何に者もなれない、と言ったところかな。
「折紙サイクロン」がヒーローやれてるので、ある程度はできるだろうけど、サポート系が主になるだろうなぁ。

I watched this episode with full of nervousness and anticipation, because both Kaede and her friends act so weird with secret plans etc. I for real thought both of them gonna be reveal to be those two weird white hair Next duos who might have copy ability lol.

Why can't them say they like the japanese voice when you can freely say you like the English voice?
Why force likes and dislikes? It's okay if you prefer subtitles, right? Gaijin fans are weird Most Japanese prefer and watch hollywood movies with subtitles, but no one complains.
I want to watch the hollywood movie in the original language in which it was made, so I watch it in English.
It is the same as the fan made work except for the one that the original made. because it deviates from the intention of the author. It looks like a fanmade.
In Japan, no one gets angry when you watch Hollywood in English. No one cries when they say they prefer the English voice. you guys just don't want to accept that your native language english loses its nature is no different from a nationalism.

@@novaknight8360 Kotetsu is literally old enough to be Karina's father (38 years old) and she is barely an adult (19). No thanks. Also, Barnaby basically stepped up into the stepfather role this episode, and the imagery of Kotetsu having a picture of himself with Tomoe next to a photo of himself, Barnaby, and Kaede was likely done on purpose.
Most of the fanbase ships Kotetsu with Barnaby and the two are heavily queer coded (plus, the franchise and the Double Decker spinoff series, has a number of queer characters), so if Kotetsu ends up with anyone, Barnaby is more likely.
Besides, Karina has better potential romantic chemistry with Ryan, imo. Since he views her more as an equal and seems to care about her own personal well-being, etc. Whereas Kotetsu has only ever viewed and treated Karina like he does Kaede, Pao-lin, and Lara - as a daughter. Or, as a mentor at the most. He doesn't view Karina in a romantic light in the slightest, and was most concerned with her when it involved her continuing to be a superhero or not (work related).
Ryan brought her to a friend's performance and is starting to view her more as the person, rather than the hero. He's also closer to her in age (he's between 20 - 26 years old, and likely closer to early 20s). So if Karina is going to get any romantic partner, my bet would be on it being Ryan, rather than anyone else in the series. It just makes more sense, especially since her crush on Kotetsu, while still there, seems to be fading, as she is growing up and maturing more.
