We would happily go back to Paris in a minute, we love it so much! The food there is absolutely amazing, and it's really hard to choose which restaurant to try, as there are so many top rated ones :)
The cafe and bakery looks great. The stairs and hills look … intimidating for oldies 😝. Oh well, maybe the pastries will temp G1 enough to conquer the hills. Yummmmmm Ok I need to pause the video again for later. I am full …. Will save the second half for dinner time entertainment. The sausage is GIGANTIC. Hope you didn’t have to finish that whole thing 😱
Thank you very much for your very kind words, and for watching and subscribing, we really appreciate it! That is so nice to hear that you are watching from India. Cheers from Vietnam :)
Hi Mark, nice to hear from you! We do love exploring different neighbourhoods, and of course, we love to try out some great restaurants. Thank you for continuing to watch, and for your kind words :)
That Boulon buffet looks like a gourmet feast in paradise. As to the other restaurant, I'm not sure about eating a city pigeon that has pecked on every street corner, no matter what Michelin rating.
Flightssssss of Stairs lol. Want to join the training camp with me (Gordon?) I've been cycling 5 hours a day these days ... Love the way Paris preserves its historic and artistic vibe. Was it easy to walk on the cobble stones? One of our friends recently fell while walking on the cobble stones and there went his holiday ... Should the dinner plates be more "proportional" to the size of the food :-) The food looked a bit lonely lying in the centre but they surely looked delicious.
We haven't ridden bikes in years but we'll probably rent some when we get to Vancouver. We really love all the old architecture in Paris, and the narrow streets with sidewalk cafes everywhere. The cobble stone streets are fairly easy to walk on. That would suck to fall and get hurt while on holiday :( It seems in some restaurants they love to display food on large plates lol. But it sure was tasty!
Thanks so much for watching! Good to know, we just got the information from Google and Wikipedia, which indicated that the Moulin Rouge was in the 18th, but right on the border. Cheers! :)
Hi Konrad! I'm not really sure what kind they are. I've had them for about 12 years and the brand name is worn off the frames. They were fairly inexpensive and then I had prescription lenses put in them, and tinted. Cheers from Toronto :)
Thanks for the video. I will try Boulom when I visit in the fall. Would you recommend Montmartre as a place to also stay for several weeks...wondering if it might be too noisy and bustling for sleeping?
Montmartre is a beautiful neighbourhood, but it is quite hilly there, so be aware of that. It's also quite a walk down to some of the major attractions in Paris, and we usually like to walk while we're there. We prefer Le Marais area, as it's easy to explore other areas from there. As far as noise at night, we're not really sure what that would be like. The streets can be quite narrow in the city, and any sound does seem to echo. Hoping you have a wonderful time while you're there :)
Thanks Tom & Mike for this beautiful tour with a lot of insights. Food which is feast for the eyes with French names..😉 My question 2u is do people speak English or mainly French?
Hi Kiran! Paris is such a fabulous city and we loved being able to explore the many areas, and enjoy the wonderful food. Most people do speak English in the places that we went to, although we do try and speak French when we are able. We're not bilingual, but we always make an attempt to converse in French, which they do seem to appreciate. Thanks for watching :)
Paris is known for food, and I think you guys did a great job showing some of it. It all looked so amazing and all worked like works of art. I think we need to get back to Paris!
Definitely still trying to lose a few pounds from overindulging on our trip! It's a good thing we did so much walking to work off some of those calories haha. Paris is still my favourite city...so far :)
Always lots of interesting info in your videos. The cost of things from one place to another can be very surprising, but I never doubted how expensive it would be in Paris, especially at a Michelin star restaurant:) Looks like you had terrific weather.
We had fabulous weather the whole time that we were in Europe! Unfortunately Paris is very expensive, otherwise we would be spending a lot more time there haha. Montmartre is one of our favourite places, but there are a lot of hills and stairs.
The Place du Tertre is ruined by a mass infusion of tourists. There should be a limit to tourists coming in to any popular areas. For Montmatre the tourist reduction should be 50-75% less tourists as seen in this video. How can you relax with tranquility an army of tourists strolling right in front of your outdoor seat cafe? The true Parisian experience is lost. If I went out w/ this video narrator I'd be so excruciatingly uncomfortable listening to him ramble w/o pause.

Another great video! That buffet looked amazing!
watering here too lol
Hi mike, thanks for watching! Everything at the buffet was very tasty, and we really enjoyed it. Montmartre is one of our favourite areas in Paris!
Ok.. I've officially started saving for my Paris trip. I'm completely sold! I was drooling. 😁 Fingers crossed for a 2023 trip.

Yes, knowing that there are pastries and great food at the top of hills and stairs, keeps me wanting to get to the top lol. Cheers :)
Great video like always. I have to go to Paris.
Thank you for watching! That was our second trip to Paris, and we would go back again and again, we love it so much :)
You guys deserve more views. New subscriber from India 🙋🏻

Thats a great price for the buffet for the variety items on offer.
We thought it was a really good deal for such great variety and quality of food! We left there so full we could only waddle away lol :)
Many people travel happy here
Montmartre is a very popular place for people to travel and enjoy themselves! It's one of our favourite areas in Paris. Cheers :)

Haha yea, I was feeling adventurous, so wanted to try something new. We had an amazing meal at Boulom and would highly recommend it!
Very good video

Great vid! Thank you! FYI, the Moulin Rouge is technically in the 9th, not the 18th.

Tom, what kind of sunglasses are those? I really like them.
Hi Konrad! I'm not really sure what kind they are. I've had them for about 12 years and the brand name is worn off the frames. They were fairly inexpensive and then I had prescription lenses put in them, and tinted. Cheers from Toronto :)
@@TakeTimeToTravel thanks anyway, they look good on ya. Great video, can’t wait to be in Paris next month, definitely going to take my folks to Boulom

Oh my goodness. Is there a list of the restaurants?
I think we just went to B.O.U.L.O.M, and L'Arcane. They were both amazing!
I like cafe food
We love sitting at a cafe and enjoying delicious food! Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it :)

Avec la nourriture je vous conseille plutôt un verre Chardonnay, (c'est mieux que CocaCola)
Nous devrons essayer du Chardonnay. Merci d'avoir regardé.:)

To drink a coke in a french restaurant and make a video about what to do in Montmarte is very awkward !!
That was the strongest rum and coke that I've ever had in a restaurant lol. Thanks for watching :)
