I'd like to see you do a video about paper clutter. I do all the things...piles of unopened mail, stacks of paper I shift from one table to another. I keep every receipt I get, because that's what my parents did. I also don't have space for a file cabinet. I feel ridiculous holding on to it, but overwhelmed by the idea of sorting it out.
I am horrible about paperwork too and my friend suggested buying a binder to organize everything. You can buy those binder dividers with tabs to categorize everything. For example, I made categories like house stuff (mortgage, utility, tax documents), receipts, home repairs, vehicle stuff, medical bills, etc. I only keep receipts that matter such as purchasing small or major appliances or something I might need to have a copy of for later on. This binder concept has been a game changer for me because I'm finally more organized. I still am bad about piling up new incoming paperwork, but when I find the time and motivation, I file those into the binder and it's much better than having tables and boxes full of various papers.
There are certain items that live in the safety deposit box. There are other items that we don't use frequently that I have scanned and keep on my Google Drive. I will keep receipts for high Dollar items but everyday receipts go in the trash after they clear our checking acct. I have a plastic bin that's about 16" x 14" x 10" high and that is where I keep paperwork sorted in folders in the house. If the bin becomes too crowded with papers I get rid of some stuff

Ever Covid hit it change so many peoples lives and everything was just different in the world and still is and always will be. I do believe now! Of course I got cover twice and the first time was so so horrible… or curse I got long Covid and still can’t taste and smell correctly. Everything tastes, horrible and everything smells rotten or dead.. I looked back on the whole pandemic, and we were all in such shock and didn’t quite know what to do and gosh that was such a hard year in so many different ways Lay offs….no leaving home….loved ones sick. Just so much!! And then here comes 2022 promising to be better for everyone in January. We found out that my grandmother that helped raise me had cancer in numerous different places. She developed demintia very severely dementia is something crazy and heartbreaking. She passed away in oct after her birthday. I didnt know what to so with myself. As December rolled around, we started to prepare for the holidays and out of nowhere. My mom had some very severe strokes and developed a blood infection that took over her whole body. Literally I feel like this all happened in a span of a week one day I was talking to her three days later. .She never spoke again. She was in the hospital for two weeks. She would look at his butt that’s about it.. she looked scared and couldn’t talk. She passed away right before Christmas and I’ve never been so heartbroken in my life. I have two kiddos, a teen boy and a 5yr old son who is atistic we just found out. On top of a ten ur relationship falling apart right in front of her eyes, and we still couldn’t put it back together…..I broke…. It’s been a little over two months now and I still have no idea how I’m going to live without my mom…..I miss her so much and it hurts so bad. I’m not doing so well. My spouse of ten years was so good to me and was right by my side at the hospital with my grandmother and my mom. We’re good under pressure but at home we’re falling apart he’s all I know he’s my best friend and I’m just watching myself lose him. I’m drowning in grief and hurt :( So you telling me I deserve something that mKes me happy….really hit my heart…thank u sweet lady and I look forward to all ur great ideas ❤❤❤
We are so excited to have the new store “Pop Shop”. It is owned by Dollar General but it is like HIGH END dollar tree where things are still $1…..and then they have things that go above $10 but everything is displayed like a beautiful department store. It’s bright and decorated. I’m OVER THE MOON! Keep checking your areas to see if one pops up by you.
I don't know if it was here or somewhere else but 1 milk crate style hanging file box has been more than enough for me and my family. Its extra helpful to have an unsorted file in the front for when you just need to put the paper down and don't have time or brainpower to sort. Pair that with making the task of sorting something you do paired with a little treat, like a moisturizer mask or a mug of hot cocoa or a muffin or something. And know that you don't have to do it all at once progress is progress

Love these suggestions! I would use the giant clear candy holders for craft station storage. And probably laundry room decanting, and for bathroom items like cotton balls, nail polish, etc. May 2023 be kinder to us all. About the peel-and-stick, I known this for years. My brother purchased a house, in August 1995, and the house had peel and stick even inside the kitchen drawers, and the cupboards.
Ok, LOVE the curtain idea using the broom organizer thing! My old house does not have closets. So I have mounted some rather nice 'california style' wardrobes, but they are open. I've wanted to hang a curtain to hide the clothes (and to keep sunlight off of my clothing) but it's been a challenge. YOUR idea would be amazing and easy to install an easy & cost efficient curtain! : )

Yes, I have used the cell phone ring idea on the bamboo cover of a ceramic jar. The jar was pink, and the key had pink in it too. It looks nice - It was only a small detail, but it made a big difference.
The Dollar Tree is where it’s at for organizational materials. They’re just as nice as some of the higher-priced stores AND they work great! In Florida, it’s a MUST to store dry goods like flours, cereals and pet foods in solid containers to keep out the bugs and humidity, and DT has a TON of good quality, aesthetically pleasing containers to store dry goods.
There are so many amazing tops packed in this video, I’m definitely going to need to watch it again to fully consider all these tips. Thanks a bunch for the creative uses of these items!
Another use for the peg board hooks she used can also be put in cars on your head rests so you can keep your purse or backpack off the floor. I saw someone use it in their car
You are the only one I can watch and get new ideas, thank you. The one thing I would like to have but it will never happen, it is to have no more pain from my J-tube. I used the candy jars as gifts, and people loved them. I decorated them using the mason jar decorations, and filled with two cute kitchen towels, hot cocoa packets, small bag of marshmallows, a few candy canes, peppermint candies, and chocolate spoons.

Love these! I've been watching your channel for years and found your tips and DIYs hit home all the time. My two favorites are using an over the door cloth organizer as a git wrapping station. That is still going strong over a year later :) Plus using the dollar tree locker bins. I actually got inspired by one of your videos showing them off and bought a bulk order online. Then I went to town in my basement organizing all the tools, nails, misc bits, etc. Added some large white labels so even my husband can find things now in the basement 😂

Those broom handles can be used for therapy for your back instead of buying those bars that sit on your shoulders to do stretches. It helps me so much. I really don't know how to explain the excercise but you are right. They are good for so many things.
I bought shelving paper but your vinyl tile idea for under the sink is so much better! Oh Yeh, I 've been making labels like these for everything. Mason Jars in the kitchen, Oxigen cleaner in glass jar for laundry, use on the white plant labels to resist sun bleaching, used on food storage containers for my hydroponic chemicals-matching the lid to the bases. I used the labels for the Quart size square food containers for flours and other pantry staples. I lucked out and found the 2 quart containers and my store had Gallon Sized versions. since a lot of the flours are all white, the labels are crucial! I took the burner covers and made a lazy susanne, then got the paint brush caddy from the art supply aisle, and put sticky tack on it and attached it to the lazy suzy, so I have a turn-table Pencil/pen caddy for my desk.
I love the puck light in my corner cabinet, just need to get another for the bottom shelf and the linen closet! I love your channel, you have helped save my sanity, save money and the ending of your video always brightens my day! Thank you so much! ❤❤❤

I have 12 DT's around me. Before we moved, we only had 1. Locating them online really helps. I need to declutter under my kitchen sink. I keep a deep pan under all of my sinks in case of a leak.
Kathryn I’ve been searching my stores for the snack containers with the purple lids and I noticed they took the ones with the pour lids off the website! I’ve seen all of the other purple click lock lids but not the snack ones. I’ll keep you posted if I find some in store but two stores in and no luck so far. If you have a box-loving cat, the rope and paper storage boxes and totes make a stylish alternative to cardboard. They're pretty enough to leave out when company's over. Our cat loved them more than her pet bed.

I have a small kitchen and an even smaller budget. I got free boxes, all the same size, covered them with Contact paper from DT and have an organized pantry. Matching boxes above my cabinets hold seldom used items (e.g., cookie cutters). I bought an extra wall kitchen cabinet, added wheels to the bottom and a board (counter) on top for more storage in an island I can move out of the way.

Those broom handles can be used for therapy for your back instead of buying those bars that sit on your shoulders to do stretches. It helps me so much. I really don't know how to explain the excercise but you are right. They are good for so many things.

I bought shelving paper but your vinyl tile idea for under the sink is so much better! I’ve also put those planter wheels under the basket in the pantry & works so good for chip big bags, extra paper towels …. Always love your ideas & upbeat personality! Oh Yeh, I 've been making labels like these for everything. Mason Jars in the kitchen, Oxigen cleaner in glass jar for laundry, use on the white plant labels to resist sun bleaching, used on food storage containers for my hydroponic chemicals-matching the lid to the bases. I used the labels for the Quart size square food containers for flours and other pantry staples. I lucked out and found the 2 quart containers and my store had Gallon Sized versions. since a lot of the flours are all white, the labels are crucial!
I took the burner covers and made a lazy susanne, then got the paint brush caddy from the art supply aisle, and put sticky tack on it and attached it to the lazy suzy, so I have a turn-table Pencil/pen caddy for my desk.

My youngest and I watch your videos every night. She has been asking to rewatch some of the old ones and last night I had a dream I went shopping with you. I have 12 DT's around me. Before we moved, we only had 1. Locating them online really helps. I need to declutter under my kitchen sink. I keep a deep pan under all of my sinks in case of a leak.

Kathryn I’ve been searching my stores for the snack containers with the purple lids and I noticed they took the ones with the pour lids off the website! I’ve seen all of the other purple click lock lids but not the snack ones. I’ll keep you posted if I find some in store but two stores in and no luck so far.

If you have a box-loving cat, the rope and paper storage boxes and totes make a stylish alternative to cardboard. They're pretty enough to leave out when company's over. Our cat loved them more than her pet bed.

I have a small kitchen and an even smaller budget. I got free boxes, all the same size, covered them with Contact paper from DT and have an organized pantry. Matching boxes above my cabinets hold seldom used items (e.g., cookie cutters). I bought an extra wall kitchen cabinet, added wheels to the bottom and a board (counter) on top for more storage in an island I can move out of the way.
