I don't think that was customization for us personally. that could have just been for the developers to make sure the playable characters fit in the cars properly. talking about the adjustable steering wheel, pedals, seats ect... think about it.
Not only that, but npc's are going to vary in height now, so they would have to be able to adjust the seat and stuff for things to fit properly. It would probably be an automatic thing where when you jump in a random car your player adjusts the seat themselves.
Hey, now it was proven that NPC‘s and our characters are going to have different heights and weights so that would make sense if you would need to move the seat or the steering wheel. I hope they let us move the steering wheel so we can see the gauge cluster better.
The car that they used to test the dynamic interiors is the Pegassi Toros. They are gonna make different interiors for every single car to make it more realistic.

I think midnight club la had good first person in fact I found it easier to play that game in first person than 3rd person. I played through the whole game like that and just got used to it

Well, I wouldn't say that they NAILED the 3rd person part of the game! In fact, they went back quite a bit. Let's review bits and pieces of the GTA series now. Shall we? 🧐🙂🙃🙂 In Vice City, your character's clothing and hair would be moving when riding motorcycle. A nice illusion to the presence of wind! In GTA 4, as well as in Vice City, your vehicle (car, motorcycle) had weight. Cars would either land on all four wheels OR on front wheels. Cars COULD NOT be reset on all four wheels when they flip over! Motorcycles slid with a bit more realism, whether or not roads were wet. Now, wait a second! The insanity doesn't stop there! Police presence. What was Rockstar thinking? Answer? They weren't! 🤨 In REAL LIFE, the presence of law enforcement officers is quite evident! They're not sitting back waiting for that call! Also, depending on the police officer, they're not half bad. 🙂 I could go on and on, but there is just too much to cover. Rockstar, if you can read this, trust me, it IS possible to balance both realism and parody! 🙂 At this point, I would rather stick with GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, and GTA 4, than to up and get GTA 6.
It's realistic... A lot of cars have a map within the dashboard. Or radio unit. Especially high in vehicles have it in the display unit and the radio. That way the driver is less distracted and if they have a passenger passenger can see if as well and help navigate.
First person does need to change. We need mirrors. We can't see over the hood on most cars. Nothing can't be done about the field of view. You are playing a 3d game, on a 2d screen.
I better see working turn signals working wiper blades and purchasable cop cars!!

First person is my preferred view since they've added it. Like you said, it's not perfect, so I'm excited to see the improvements they've made to it.

atleast now we know fuel will gas will be in vehicles. you can run empty and refill at gas stations. I hope some cars will be electric and chargeable.
