Burning the ends of the ribbon (or any synthetic fabric) works because since they're synthetic, it's mostly plastic, so you're essentially just melting the fibers together to stop them from fraying. Also, really fun editing! I enjoyed the intro of the contestants very much :)

I think you should make a mini plant/fairy garden! I also love the idea of decorating a doll house with mini furniture found at thrift stores as an adult, and I feel like a fairy garden is such a fun way to incorporate that into a whimsical plant world! Like put a mini cute popsicle stick house or bridge with a little pebble stone path, bottle caps into a fountain, thimbles as plant pots, that kind of thing
