Just started 5 days ago with N20, and it's going well so far. Getting great scores in the app, but wishing I will sleep through an entire night yet. But summer heat may play into thay as well.
For sure! That N20 is my favorite, good job on scores. But do not make that the focus, make sure you are comfortable and on the application the Events an hour are under 5. I get the heat not sure where you are. But were in Florida it never stops lol! Thanks for reaching out
@@Sleeplayground I keep varying between 0.2 and 1 per hour, so I assume that is good news. Just purchased a new watch to check blood oxygen and heart rate while sleeping, to see what those numbers look like compared to the sleep study.

@@Sleeplayground my father is diagnosed with lung fibrosis in year 2009 . And left side lung is 70 % damaged. He was using hoffrichter bpap machine from 2009 to 2019 . Some times with oxy concentrator or oxygen supply . After 2019 he started using other bpap machine . From last 2 year he uses resmed F20 mask 18 -20 hours bpap with continuous oxygen supply. F 20 mask is magnetic due to this it is very comfortable in night . But sound of air comes out during uses of mask . 30 days ago mask is broken . So I buy new mask from hoffrichter . No sound of air comes during uses of this mask . More air and oxygen goes to lungs than F20 . But this mask is not comfortable . Also I think F20 mask is not compatible with bpap ? Kindly suggest me best one mask for bpap ( bipap) machine. Thanks
Yes, Thanks for reaching out! I like any of the F&P full face like the Vitera or the Simplus. They are great mask for higher pressures. But I have also seen patient's use the F20 with high pressures but Simplus or Vitera would be my go to.
Just started with the F20. I tried the medium size, but I had some leaking out of the bottom in the middle of the night. I tried switching to the large and then I got leaking past the bridge of my nose. I can't tell if it's a seal issue, or a mask shape issue because I've tried wearing it pretty tight and loose over my face. Any alternative mask recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Hi thanks for reaching out! So the mask are going to leak somewhat it is a matter of adjustment here and there to find the right fit. Maybe the Airtouch F20 with the memory foam may help any noise issues from the leakage.
Tightening often causes more leakage and unnecessary marks on the face. If you allow your self the time you can try the N20 a nasal mask. As long your are comfortable or allow yourself to get comfortable and your events per hour are below 5. That may be a great alternative for comfort and less leaks.
there is nothing best about the F40 mask. even on this channel i could hear the statement that the mask is very good for people who turn from one side to the other during sleep. this is not true at all. it leaks immediately! for me it is another failure of the ResMed company and has the highest price of all masks
