- Sewing Spaghetti Straps. If you are looking to create very thin straps for a sewing project then this video is for you. I’ll show you how to cut the straps, sew the wrong side of the fabric, reduce the seam allowance and the technique for pulling your newly formed spaghetti straps to the right side.

Woww!!! You did it again, you do not know what a pain those straps have been for me, i hate doing anything with spaghetti straps but now i know how to make them the easy way, you said it "it is like magic" you are awesome, thank you do much.
i love that this technique serves two purposes, the cord gives a good foundation to stitch against and allows 'give' for it to be turned right side out and serves as a tool itself for turning it right side out! i will definitely be using this thank you!
That is BRILLIANT! For your viewers, that is officially called a Rouleau Strap.
At last! A tutorial for a true 'spaghetti' strap. Very elegant. Thanks a million.
Thank you for commenting Brigid Rynne.
I have been trying to figure this out for ages!!!!! YOU are an angel!!!!
Wow that was a simple but brilliant demonstration. Thank you

My pleasure and I'll certainly try.
wow...it just perfect....never saw this way of turning strap...no needle or no fabric turner used....like it!!
many thanks..
i slaved 3 hours recently over two straps for a sari blouse as i did not have one tool - the cord - ..!!!
now i know...Xx
This tutorial was exactly what I was looking for this morning. Thank you!
My pleasure.
This is the best and easiest way i have ever seen thank you so much and your direction is so clear
If you cut the straps on the bias, it allows the fabric to stretch naturally and its easier for the loop turner to pull through.
This is fantastic. Bless your heart. Honestly, it made me feel a little dumb for not figuring this out myself. SO easy!
Happy to help. Thanks for the comment.

If you haven't guessed by now I was about ready to throw it (table/chairs and the cushions I'm making) out and just buy one as so stressed with set backs. Cross your fingers this works for me.... man I love you tube!

Would teach us how to create different kinds of sleeves?
Like the butterfly sleeve and sleeves from the '20s? Also sleeves with slits...? I am sorry I do not know the name of them....

~~~Paula Bickram ---Excellent !!! you're amazing ,I love all your sewing videos ..God Bless you !!!!
No cord should be in the strap. You can use knits and wider cord but think about stabilising the fabric as it will stretch.
Thank you so much for this video.I learned and immediately tried and it was very much successful.I tried it on silk garment and yet it was gr8. I am from India and want to subscribe.Pl.guide me.
This tutorial is amazing! I just have one question- when done, is the cord still inside the strap, or is it now flat? That's the only part I'm confused about!
Nope! The cord comes out all the way!
It looks like you have an option to leave it in or take it out. This was the best tutorial.
Haha! Thank you.
