Loop turners are a great option but I recently found tube turners at my local fabric store. They are sold in packs of 3 or 4 tubes and each tube is a different width...narrow to wide. You push the tube up into the inside of the strap until it sticks out of the other end. Then push the fabric back thru the inside of the tube. Easy peasy and works great!
I cut mine on the bias but I actually wanted to use it for a little corset-esque lacing detail on the back of a dress - would it be better if I didn’t do this on the bias? Because I want it to be firm, not stretching so it pulls me in a little
I admire these videos and the instructor but her use of “gonna” in place of “ going to” irritates me. It takes away from the professionalism of an otherwise excellent tutorial.

I will go look for one at my local fabric store. I have a loop Turner and it just ....well sucks! Thank you!
oooh, yay, there's always a tool for something lol. thx it's now on the list! :)
Really like the second option since I don't have a turner. Thank you very much for sharing
You can diy using thin wire
Beautifully shown. Thank you. I love your all tutorials .
Stitch the thread at one end when it's through the length of the Rouleau, ready to pull and turn and then that end is hemmed!
Works better if you just use a safety pin instead of the complex gathering thing at the end with the needle
Thank you!! So much better than the second option 🙏🏻
like use a safety pin with string? or use a safety pin by itself??
Great job
Ah thank you so much! I found this awesome print at the thrift shops and I needed to make a top out of it. This is so helpful!
Used the second option and it came out perfect
Thank you so much for this. I was so confused about the seam allowance and my pattern didn't clarify!
Thanx it was a-great tutorial and very helpful thanx again
Great tutorial! What stitch length do you use? I keep breaking my threads when turning. Thank you!
One of the best tutorials I've ever seen: well explained and fast
Thank you :)
I love the loop turning tips
awesome, perfect tutorial, exactly what i needed :)

Very helpful tutorial. Will help with asking adding some jazz to future creations and repairs. =) Thank you.
TesKid Thanks for watching!
Thank you
Thank you for this! ❤️
If you don't have sealant, is there another way to finish off the edge? Thanks :)
You can stitch the end. It may still fray a little but the fraying shouldn't go past the stitching
Thank you!
This is old but it helps you
Does the bias cutting apply to stretch fabrics as well?
***** you don't need to do it on the bias if it's already stretchy :)
I will watch again this is really hard for me Side note Love your nails 💖
I've always wanted to know how to do this thanks!
LenniStar glad to help :)
Theres also another way to do this with a safety pin that i learned
This was so helpful 😊
Very!.. good idea, thank you!..
probably a silly question, but at the end are you gathering the material? What exactly is happening?
goodomens not silly at all. I'm pulling it so the end will eventually go to the inside and turn itself right side out
At the end, when you were pulling the string? x
could you say why you cut the fabric at a bias ?
by cutting it on the bias, the fabric, even non-stretchy fabric, will have a little bit of stretch to it.
Do you have to do it on the bias?
no, but it does give it a bit of stretch if it's cut on the bias.
love your nails!
excellent work!! thank you so much👍
dear prof,,you could be an actress..You have the looks and the stage presence, but I'm so glad you teach...a fan Bill

Can't watch it. Connexion lost on your video whilst other run normally. :(
Plz don't cut your fabric like this 😓
You will have so much wastage, so stupid!
Please fold it in half, corner to corner not diagonally!
