Wait... the show makes him go up against Lucifer himself? Just.... I understand changing things that don't adapt well to film... but, thematically, this makes Lucifer far less threatening- much like their choice of actress... I too love the Constantine movie, but Tilda Swinton has this fierceness in her expression, while Brienne of Tarth just looks like she wants a hug. Gwendoline Christie is a great actress... can we please use her in effectively in something, other than Game of Thrones? (Don't know what the hell was up with her role in Star Wars... chalked up to be the next Boba Fett, but relegated to someone who just looks intimidating, then instantly losses a fight... Holy Shit she is the next Boba Fett...) Of course, I would not in any way, be opposed to the audio drama cast being put to film... Michael Sheen man... now there's a Lucifer.
