I am so happy Keith and his team helped me as i was turning 65 this year. Im on original Medicare with Plan N. Im pretty healthy and haven't had a reason for Doctor care. But its there if i ever need it. The more i hear these videos, the more im glad i went with Original Medicare
I am so glad that I came across Keith's video series while researching all my options for Medicare. The information is presented in a straight forward manner, concise and easily understandable. One of his associates, Julia Jones, answered all my questions and in no time had me signed up in the plan that was best for my needs. Thanks Keith and Julia.
What a blessing you are Keith. The videos were a huge help and guided us to Julia Jones in assisting us in choosing the right plan. I am over thrilled to have the videos and Julia as my medicare resource. The process is definitely less stressful now. Thank you again Keith and Julia. 😊
Keith's site/email lead me to his recommendation of using his associate Julia Jones for help...what a gem. So helpful, caring and to the point...thanks Keith!!
Personally I am quite happy with my F supplement. I like not having to worry about the Part B deductible. Also, I have a chronic condition that means I have pretty high medical expenses and would hit the maximum deductible on a GHD plan every year. Finally, my F plan is cheaper than the G plan from my insurer. Fortunately I am old enough to have an F plan. As you said, for people just starting Medicare G is the best IF you can afford it followed by N. In my opinion a GHD plan only makes sense if you don't have any health issues and seldom go to the doctor. In that case an Advantage plan might even make more sense assuming that you stay healthy.
Some people prefer the peace of mind from Plan F. Plan GHD also makes a lot of sense in states where there is year-round open enrollment. I would still always choose the freedom and low premium of Plan GHD over a Medicare Advantage plan.
If you go with original Medicare, you would have to get a separate dental and vision plan, if you want coverage for those. There are some Supplements, depending on where you live, that may offer some type of dental and vision benefit, for an additional monthly premium over their Supplement without that coverage. Bear in mind that with any dental or vision plan, it is up to the providers as to whether they will accept the plan, as Medicare does not cover dental or routine vision exams.
A Medigap plan only covers what Original Medicare covers. Unfortunately, Original Medicare does not cover routine vision or dental. There are a lot of stand-alone plans and discount plans available that aren't tied to Medicare.
Most Americans can’t offered original Medicare, it’s very expensive. I had to get an advantage plan, I picked a ppo plan with Aetna at $160 a month. Original Medicare would cost over $300 a month. Maybe you can do a video for the little people on advantage plans that are good.

Thank you for these videos, Keith. I turn 65 in January 2026. I'm hoping I don't get hit by a bus three times.
😂 same
that would be very unlucky!
@@MedicareonVideo Fool me once, shame on the bus driver. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me thrice, ?
@@MedicareonVideo your bus comment was great. Sometimes we need to joke about our healthcare
Great channel, I appreciate your posts and content.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video. I answered a question I was having about my Medigap G that I got through you.
Glad I could help! Thank you for your business!

Thanks Amy!!
We live in Pennsylvania, one of the 8 states that does not allow excess charges, so we have plan N. Very happy with it!
My sister is too. Plan N is a no brainer in PA.
Yes, in those 8 states, Plan N is a fantastic choice, and often more than $25 lower than the Plan G premium!

In NYC plan G costs $300 a month. GHD costs $72 a month with $2,800 out of pocket, and it's only if you manage to reach that amount.
Yes, and NY offers year-round open enrollment so you can upgrade your plan at any time with no health questions.
In my opinion the best Medicare Supplement plan is Tricare For Life. It's actually Medicare wraparound coverage.
Thought Tricare is only for Veterans?
Tricare is great for those who qualify!
Thanks what about vision and dental coverage? What plan covers those?

I pay almost $600 for plan G!
@@TxFrannie that’s way to much

A PPO Medicare Advantage plan for $160 per month sounds very expensive. Most Medicare Supplement plans aren't $160 per month.
@ I’m in NJ, I did manage to get a discount from state drug assistance. It comes out to about a $100 a month.
I am over 50 on DISABILITY in ILLINOIS. What's the BEST MEDIGAP PLAN for ME this 2025?
Medigap under 65 is actually very different from over 65. Insurance carriers are not required to offer all plan types depending on the state.
How do I get PLAN G, H, and D in ILLINOIS?
How about PLAN N in ILLINOIS?
