My goodness girl I just found your channel and I just happened to buy some butterflap frim a west Indian store well as you might know they are not cheap and comes only 5 in a pkg long story short I didn't get any any so I decided to make my own, let me tell you they turned out amazing, your tutorial is great thank you.
Thanks so much for this recipe! Your measurements are on point. My husband made the first 2 batches and they came out perfect!! Problem is no leftovers! Have to make a fresh batch for this weekend.
There is a link for the recipe in the dropdown area. I've made this a few times exactly as indicated, and it's an excellent recipe!! Making a batch now for breakfast in the morning.
LEFTOVERS???!! You're lucky to have leftovers. I have to hide some or all will go in one day. I cover mine with cling and a bread towel on a baking sheet and leave it on the countertop. Or put a light kitchen towel in the bottom of a handmade straw basket and cover as well. The cling keeps the butter on the bread and not on the towel. Avoid metal bread bins.

Did you butter your baking sheet before placing the dough to rise for thirty minutes? It looks buttered but I can’t tell.
Its not buttered. If using a greased pan, I will mention it in the video.
I will try my hand at making this. Thanks for sharing
