In the 60s as a young boy, I remember my uncle had passed away, I was at the hospital with my family, he was pronounced dead in the room as everyone said a prayer for him, as we were leaving he was taken down to the morgue to be picked up by the funeral home. As he was being wheeled into the morgue he scared the hell out of the staff and awaked. He never spoke of what he had experienced, however there was not a day he did not go to mass at church.

My daughter Shannon passed away in her sleep on August 30th, and she died as a result of drugs. I am so devastated and Michael, I know your story with a wonderful young man I met on the boat.. When they leave, they take a piece of you with them. I am a born-again Christian and God has given me comfort. In Genesis 6:6 we read how he grieved. I think when we dream I think we dream of people and places in the here and now and people from our past who have died and are gone and then we dream about people we have never seen. Imagine that these are people yet to be born. Great topics you guys.
I am very sorry for your loss. My daughter tried to commit suicide and has had drug problems. No words can console you, but the Father in Heaven who lost His Son to die on the Cross for us, may He continually bring you peace.

This episode touched a special place in my heart. I’ve been thinking about every single topic that was mentioned. As a child, I was never taken to church, but if I had one wish before I die, it would be to be baptized by Michael F. I am a 28 year old Mexican American who had similar adversities as him and it would be a true blessing to accept Christ in his hands.
In 2004 I threw up 5 units of blood and went out when the paramedics arrived. They said they ‘lost’ me for a couple of minutes.
When I was gone I saw the white light and people walking into the light. I was just there observing in a very euphoric state until a very strong voice told me to “forgive her”. My wife had an affair. As soon as I said ok, I came back in the ambulance. In a great mood but w/o a blood pressure. I obviously made it but the trauma nurse said I was the most miraculous patient she’d ever been with in 14 years…. She added there was no medical explanation for my survival. I’m a believer . God Bless all
How did you end up with 5 units of blood in your stomach. Medically speaking, not possible. EMT here, 6 years.
Where did they measure your vomit? The ER? Or in the home? Why was it collected and measured? Vomit, if measured, is done In ML. Blood being given out , AFTER DONATION is sometimes referred to as units. God said don't lie. Don't lie.

I firmly believe we all go home to paradise with our Lord. I lost my little brother to suicide, and like everyone else on this planet who has gone through loss and grief, no doubt in my mind we all go home to Heaven,, NDE's are phenomenal. My oldest sister before she passed had a beautiful vision before she passed. GOD bless everyone.

It is amazing how people went to the other side, came back and their outlook on life is totally different. "We are spiritual beings, having a human experience on this earthly plane". GOD bless.

This was a great sit down Michael and Chazz!!!! Michael the book You was talking about.. Title is "Heaven is for Real".. The Boy's name is Colton Burpo he was 4 Yes old.. His parents believed Him when He asked His Mom about His sister!!!
I just love this show. And I love these two men! For amazing insight into the afterlife, there is no greater source of detailed information than the writings of Emmanuel Swedenborg. It is also interesting to listen to near death experiences although with much discernment because a lot of people's NDEs are tailored more for the lessons they need to learn so it's wise not to get caught up in them.

Heard your discusion with Chazz Palminteri about a boy who died, went to heaven, then returned to life. "The Boy Who Came From Heaven" (if that's the book you were thinking of) was written by Alex Malarkey (fitting name), who in 2015 admitted he "made the story up."
Didn't know whether you were aware of this. If it's another book, I'd be happy to know what it is.

I had a wild dream. Everyone in my life was at a get together. I did and a laid there a man showed up and said do not worry you will see everyone again. I asked who this man was and he's had he was stand father who died three before i born. I followed him to a dark, silent place which opened to a bright sunny place. A hearse was there and drove me to home I was raised in. Waiting in the living rom was was my other deceased grandfather sitting on coach. I was very close to him.The dream ended with me sitting between my grandfathers. I would take a afterlife like that

My mom passed Sept 4th at 3:30PM ... mother in law whom we looked after died 25 years later on Sept 4th 3:30PM... Coincidence... ??? Don't think so...
I do believe in the Afterlife. Not sure about the religious aspects, but I think we have souls/spirits & that we just go from one plane of existence to the next. I also think our brains have the capacity to be open to encounter the Afterlife while we're asleep through dreams because whatever energy the brain uses to stay awake & focused on tasks is open. I base it on 2 personal experiences that have moved me deeply. And once I reach the Afterlife, I certainly don't want to come back. I want to be with any & all family & friends who have passed. I just hope we can live peacefully there & even eat because my Madrina was a great cook.
So if there's the afterlife then, interlinked with that, God exists right? If God didn't exist there wouldn't be an afterlife.
When we die we go back where we were before birth!
