From what I remember growing up in church, people under the age of accountability (referring to the 4 year old) which there is no exact age for, are protected. Also protected are people that have never heard the “true” word of god an Jesus(people that have never heard of Jesus, as vlad mentioned). I understand Vlad's point of view and respect Neil's viewpoint. I relate to that. But there are a lot of things in everyone's lives where they had a feeling about something that was correct. But then they started trying to reason, collect evidence, and approach it like it was a trial. And they ended up making the wrong decision. And there are things that are outside that scope. Not everything in this world can be captured with conventional or even high-level human levels of understanding or knowledge.
That's not necessarily true. We don't know that yet. Just because we don't understand it now doesn't mean we won't be able to in the future.

A simple way of stating that because it can't be explained, a God/deity must exist - which I don't buy. And, of course, that's my opinion. That's why I'm agnostic. I don't know whether or not a god exists, however I'm certainly open to the idea of it being proved one way or the next. But the absence of evidence or logic doesn't necessarily mean God exists, just that science hasn't evolved enough to accurately determine whether or not one does.

There was so many red flags from Franzese when talking it was ridiculous.
He showed he was extremely sexist by thinking it’s okay for men to be promiscuous but not women.
He was not able to answer vlad about what parts of the Bible he values most.
He has no proof of any existence of a God and he disregards that there have been thousands of different gods throughout history.
For Franzese to say he is not religious while having bible scriptures tattooed on his arms is hilarious. Also he goes out of his way to promote his religion and his view of it.
He is definitely religious. He just does not like the idea of being perceived as fanatically about it.
A lot of the time it is the most uneducated and ignorant people who are the most religious and God fearing, along with former criminals or people who lacked stable parenting while growing up.
But it is very common for former criminals to present themselves as religious and reformed as a way to look like they are different from their past ways.
Religion is often used to control the masses into following specific guidelines written by man.
Evolution has proven evidence, while religion goes off blindly followed ancient scriptures that some people refuse to question the accuracy of it all.

I don’t believe in god or religion but love how he answered his question.
I believe there is only energy ( which we and everything we can see and touch are made of) and then there is nothingness and when we die we just go back to the main source of energy. Whether we can manifest it into an afterlife? Who knows but i find comfort in this either way

It's not complicated. If you're a bad person and ask for forgiveness just in case there really is a God that's not gonna work. You would have to be truly sorry and repent for everything bad you've done. A hail Mary right before you die isn't gonna work. If you're an evil person you're going to hell and if you're a good person you have a chance at heaven.

Nobody's perfect and everyone is gonna do bad things in their lifetime but I don't think it's as complicated as people make it out to be. If you're a relatively good person you'll be fine and if you're just a bad person there isn't really any repenting and you're gonna go were you belong. I wouldn't try to convince someone to adopt a belief they don't connect with. But "Knowing" is experiential. If I asked "Hey Vlad prove your grandfather that was alive around 300bc ever really existed." He wouldn't have pictures, no written record and no physical "evidence" that his grandfather existed. He would simply say "Well how do you think I got here?" Or "I'm here aren't I." So that's all the evidence you need? For someone you've never seen or touched? YOU, just existing, gives you an assured belief that your grandfather existed and Lead to your creation...and you're right.

After surviving a lifestyle to get to where he's at now , I think he has well earned versatility and tolerance.
