I use pack talk when dirt riding and love it! Plays music and keeps mic silent unless you talk. Only draw back is have to be in eye sight or close for intercom to stay connected. Auto connects when in distance.
Helmets?
You should check out Sampson Racing as their solution can interface with my 2 way radio, has intercom for up to 6 sets, reachs up to 500 feet so cars in that range with just headsets can be talked to, interfaces to my music via USB from my Ridecommand, phone and is all wireless no intercom hardware involved just head sets
bluetooth? and NO aux input? just don't loose your cell service (in the middle of no ware )or your music is gone. or you can download 2k worth of music off of itunes in advance. from 0 to 75% of the volume knob is useless. the music is VERY quit even with my Alpha bass headphones. ( not wort the money) I would pass on rugged radios next time and try PCI radios. I have had 3 sets so far trying to fix this problem so 4th time ill switch lol.... The coms are VERY loud and clear but the music side sucks...

way too broad, should talk about the different models, how they attach to your helmets, what if there are dirt bikers or quad riders in your group, how do they wear the radios
