    After all the studio tours showing rooms which contain more than most craft shops and creators who quite frankly admit that they have stuff they never use, it was so nice and refreshing to see a a studio which contains exactly what you use with no frills and padding. Less is definitely more. Thank you for sharing.

    You are so blessed to be able to create such beautiful artwork. I love how clean you keep your work area. I get stressed if my crafting area is a mess.

    Yes, France, I would love a video about your gear! I have watched you for several years and love your work. I am an art journaler and am very interested in how you produce your videos from the technical side. So bring it on! Keep the wonderful art coming!

    I agree that too much stuff causes too many options to clutter the brain but I can't help myself! I work in many different mediums and have been gathering art supplies for many years...printing making, batik, painting in WC, now acrylic, book making, mixed media, altered books, jewelry making, pastel, zentangles, markers etc! Love your organization !

    I'd love a video about what equipment you need to make a video -- and how you got started; what we should avoid, etc. AS ALWAYS, as I lurk, I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!

    Lovely video - I also wish I could keep my space neat while I work! It always takes me a lot of time to clean up between projects, ad of course this is a deterrent to starting a new one. Thanks for your calm spirit - love your videos and your work!

    I enjoyed seeing your orderly studio and watching you do another journal page. Always inspirational.

    It’s always fun to see other people’s work space. Mine is not so neat!😳 Today is a mostly free day for me, laundry, meal prep for a couple days, light cleaning.....my art space was on the list to somewhat clean it up! Nice share, thank you! I would love to see your filming, editing and gear.

    I would very much like to see the gear and programs you use to make your videos and also how you store your stuff! I like your ideas about having the stuff you use close by and being selective so as to not become overwhelmed. Good advice I need to put into practice.

    Lovely work. I envy your studio. I have one as well but it is always messy. I'm a messy creator! Like you, I do like to have everything around me when I create. Thank you for this look inside your studio. I recently subscribed to your channel. Your name caught my eye. I have a Papillion best friend, my dog Chai. I get butterfly kisses everyday! :)

    I would love to see a close up of that little cart. How you store things... where did you grab your Brayer from... where do you keep that cute little paint brush that you made the spatters with. And did you show what your desk looked like at the end? If you did, I missed that. Lol

    • @francepapillon
      @francepapillon  3 роки тому

      Yup I did share it at the end of the video! And the brayer is just in one of those drawers on my left. As for the content of the cart, most of it was mentioned in the first part of this series! 😊

      @1771bubba 3 роки тому

      I’m gonna have to go watch the end again. I heard you say, before I show you what my desk looks like at the end, comment if you want a more detailed...... etc. then I saw your regular ending. Gotta go look again. Lol

      Oh duh!!! I’m getting old (63) and my brain is mush!! Lol. I saw that. I think I was excited that we’d get to see more of your studio. And then I saw your cute dog. Lol. It’s like when you’re in the middle of a story and then.... SQUIRREL 🐿!!!! Lol. Sorry!!!

    Loved the tour of your art space and love your table. What kind of table is it? Looks like stone!! Your fur baby is so beautiful! Btw, do you make your journals and if so will you have them for sale? They look so wonderful to work in!

    I loved your video, I have been so inspired with your approach in the last few months, this has helped me lift pressure off myself and create more.
    I also get very overwhelmed with too much products and have decluttered so much to only have everything in my desk drawers now and I love it. I would very much love to see more in depth storage and what you keep in your drawers. For instance I was wondering where you store your stamps?
    Thanks so much for sharing.

    i'm starting to grasp the concept of "gathering" before starting and planning a bit more. I do tend to get overwhelmed and my "studio" is scattered through the house so running downstairs to pick up printed paper, into my office for supplies and back to the dining room table to create can get very frustrating.

    The unbrella lighs-are those to create artwork...or for the video itself? I've been doing a layer a day spread now as well. Thank you for this strategy - it really works!! I am watching from SW Michigan/USA!! Yes, please do a more indepth review of your studio equipment etc.

  • @Bweerts
    @Bweerts 3 роки тому

    Omg I wish I could keep my desk that neat. My "studio" is actually in my kitchen, but always looks messy, even when I have reorganized everything, and within 5 minutes after starting I am covered in paint and I barely have room to work anymore 😂

    Hi France! I am a huge admirer of your work and products. I'm just curious, in your shop, your stamps say "trimmed, on EZ." I was wondering what that means (EZ). I have some of your stamps and hope to purchase more, so I'm wondering if this is something I should know. Happy New Year and thank you for sharing all of your talent, knowledge and tips with us!

    • @francepapillon
      @francepapillon  3 роки тому

      What Abigail said! They are ready to use. Some stamps you need to mount on foam yourself. Which is extra work and stuff to buy 😉
