I love the look of the larger bezel, and good point on these now being a tad bit cooler lol 👊🏽 I wish the Pepsi was not gilt, I’d probably be all over it lol. If I ever see a white dial Pepsi for a reasonably price…
Great job on the review. Subbed! I like the new one better. It looks more like a five or early six digit Rolex style sports watch. And it looks tougher. The watch you’re reviewing is equally as good, but more elegant.
Thank you for watching and subscribing! When you compare it to my Rolex from 2008, it’s definitely significantly better quality. Now, it’s a 10 year age difference, but I’d still argue Monta is punching up there with the big boys 💪🏽 and their finishing is just beautiful
Thanks for the review. I am considering the new version of the SkyQuest, Pepsi color-way. Love the look of it. Over time, color combo’s like that can be a bit much or enduringly fantastic. Hard to say. Also considering the Christopher Ward Sealander GMT (white) you also reviewed.
The Pepsi with the gilt dial is a stellar combination, and the the large bezel looks really good! I don’t know if I could justify two gilt dial watches, but again I can’t justify another watch purchase in general at this point so…😂😂😂 - If the Pepsi bezel was not gilt I’d probably preorder one… The Sealander is a great daily wearer.
Can't bring myself to sell my OG Oceanking with the 60-hour movement. It's just so much watch for what I paid, around $1K. I compared it to the newer Oceanking using the Home Try-On offer. A little odd for them to run $300 off my Visa card then refund it when I mailed the non-functioning watch back but it confirmed for me that the original curved-crystal, curved-bezel watch was the best Monta of all. Better than the BB58, which I did sell off. This video sounds more natural, less script-reading compared to some of your vids - you're getting better at this.
At the start of watching this video I wasn't sure about this watch, by the end I was much more appreciative of it. Good job done.
Thanks for watching!
If you haven’t already, take a peak at the Ocean king. It is a stellar diver
I actually love the design language of the new one! I think it also makes this one that much cooler since they go different directions.
For the new ones, which color-way would you pick? For me, the Pepsi but they are all good.
@@gavingodfreyYT Coke bezel by far! Im hoping in the new oceanking they release a black/gilt option

@@JimiTime1 honestly if the pepsi wasnt Gilt it would be a tough decision but I'd still probably like the Coke better

I bought an Atlas and really enjoy it, I'd love to get a skyquest opaline dial.
Opaline with a Pepsi bezel would be awesome.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@JimiTime1 Monta made that special edition skyquest with the opaline dial but I missed it and wish they would do another. run.
@@jodysilvia2 I didn’t know it was opaline! I thought it was just a white dial.
@@JimiTime1 apparently it was a special edition of 50 or something , maybe someday they will make more.

I agree, really kicking myself for letting go my OG :-(
The eterna movement and the curved crystal was so special.
And thank you for the feedback!
