Stop LISTENING to the RUMORS: The JeanRichard Terrascope GMT is a cool watch, With cRaZY value prop!
Thanks for your review. I never look at Tudor watches because I don’t care for that hour hand. I cant believe this 925 has me interested but I wont be buying it due to that hour hand, called snow flake ? I can think of a more appropriate name for it :) I just hope Omega or Rolex can be daring enough to make a Sterling watch, I’d buy it instantly as I don’t mind sterling patina. I’m still shocked that I came close to buying a Tudor watch. I’m glad others including yourself are enjoying it 😎
This is a great review. I don't know how I haven't seen it before, I was looking for someone to make this comparison. I am fortunate to have a Grand Seiko SBGN011 and I love it. Since then I fell in love with the SBGN003. I have seen many reviews of the CW Sealander GMT and thought that might be a nice addition that would allow me to save some money but wasn't sure if it would be enough to scratch that it. With all due respect, I'm not a fan of the look of the Explorer 2 and I agree with your statements about the GS SBGN003 improving on an icon. Many people give Rolex too much credit, If I'm not mistaken the Explorer 2 came after the Glycine Airman and people don't say Rolex homaged Glycine. Anyway you may have convinced me to get the CW since I already have a GS with 9F in my collection. Thank you.
Wrist size?
amazing collection
Is it still under warranty, have you tried contacting them
I did! I’m working on my update video soon. FYI - one of the fastest service turnaround times…
Is there any protective sticker pasted on the sapphire crystal? The closeup video shows since kind of film on crystal. Is it removable?
looks like Patek copied Mido
Great collection.
Awesome
I want one.
wow this is a true diversity - what a beautiful collection
Comprehensive review, thank you!
My favorite diver, these days!
Nah, too much for what is a mechanical version of a Swatch watch , but with a Chinese movement, for $100 (for the goose neck regulator) you can have the same movement and dimensions in the Sugess chronograph with playful color dial.
I wanted to compliment you on your videos, really nice, honest perspective and interesting collection. I have the Aquis Carysfort and absolutely love it. Looks big, but wears smaller. They are a unique look in a "sea" of sameness. Like your videos :) Cheers, Dave
Thanks for the kind words Dave! The dial on the Carysfort looks amazing! Great looking GMT
Great looking example!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Hey Jimi is that a 20mm strap you fitted? Thanks for the review
Yes it is! 20mm works really well without bulging in the center like some 19mm watches
I wanted to get this so bad but declined because of the soft case.
That is definitely a downside if it's going to be a daily wearer. I nicked mine and caused a few dings, that would not be their on Stainless steel. It's beautiful though!
Very enjoyable video, my friend. Thank you for sharing your collection!
Thank you for watching 🙏🏽

According to your review video from a year ago, you have a first-launch unit from 2023, with case reference "M049526 A", and some of those have been reported as having the date wheel fault; Whereas I have "M049526 B", and according to what you said here, I've worn and used mine a lot more frequently than you, and i've had no problems. When you get your watch back, can you see if they have swapped the movement out for one with a stamping behind the balance wheel of "[ETA] C07651+"? It's important if it includes a plus sign at the end of that number, because that is another distinction from first-launch to renewed-launch units; Yours would have NOT had the plus sign at the end, but mine does. And mine was purchased early 2024. Does that make sense? So two things to look for: Updated case reference and updated movement stamping.
Thanks for the info! And I’ll check + add an update on the movement. It’s good to hear they’ve fixed this long term. It’s a really cool watch
@mybrainlikesthings - you are correct! First - the watch came back super fast (arrived Thursday) - There is a C07651+ My case also has the A. It’s great to see Mido correct the issue fast.
@@JimiTime1 awesome news, and congratulations!
@@mybrainlikesthingsif the case has B, it means already have updated eta movement?
@@benjaminjayolleta742 I don’t know for a fact. But my guess is that the case number and calibre number aren’t connected.
Glad you are happy with the service. You are 100% right, JLC should bring back an updated version of this watch. Its design aged so well that I like it even better now than when it was launched. (Another one that they should not have discontinued is the Deep Sea Chronograph with the white-red indicator. Such a great design from JLC.)
The deep sea chronograph is one of my favorite. I’ve been searching for one for a decent price for years, but they keep going up. I will have one though 😂
wrist shots are so good - so many reviewers don't get that 🥂🥂🥂
Thank you! The entire reason I do watch reviews is to give people an idea what it will look like on the wrist! Thank you for noticing
Excellent review, became a subscriber. I bought one with the orange strap few weeks ago and I love it. My father gave me his Mido commander 34 mm PVD coated 50 year old watch in great condition and therefore agree with you on top quality for price. If I may come with one suggestion to ask you to say cm/mm when you use inches in your review as we are for certain many in europe who like to follow your videos.
Thank you for watching and subscribing! I also appreciate the suggestion to also use metric measurements for my friends across the pond :-) - I'm still blown away that I have people who watch my videos in Europe 🤯
I love them
Very underrated chronograph
@@JimiTime1 Funny thing to read. I love the watch because of the look. Everything is far too small for it be practical. 😂
Thanks for the awesome review Jimi T. Just discovered your channel. I'd love to add a 925S to my little collection of old Tudor Subs. It's the first BB I've thought was worthy. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for the kind words!
What an awesome collection! I never even heard about the JLC navy seal
It’s a sleeper pick! The Navy seals lineup is very cool
Bummer about the big date issue. I was thinking about adding a big date in my collection and this Mido was one of the candidates. Looking forward to an update on the Swatch Group service experience!
🤞🏽 hoping it’s painless such a great watch. Getting a big date complication sub $1500 would be really special if they can fix this
Thats funny, my blue version has just had the same issue that it can't be rotated past the 14th using the quick set but I can still progress it by moving past midnight. A teething issue for a new big date movement I guess , not the end of the world although in the UK I don't know if it will be as easy to resolve, I might try my local watch maker first.
@@benedge2202 at least you can move it by moving it forward past midnight. Good luck with yours , I’ll keep you posted on the service experience
NO WAY YOURS GOT STUCK ON 14 TOO???
This issue sounds like a sign of a much bigger design flaw.
@@hohenstaufenz Not necessarily. There was an initial launch in 2023, and a second wave launch late 2023/early 2024, with updated case references and movements. See my other comment here. Anyways, revised movements have "[ETA] C07651+" (with a PLUS sign at the end) stamped behind the balance wheel. I have one of these newer units, and mine hasn't had any problems so far.
@@mybrainlikesthingsis it visible?
Nicely done 👍
Thank you 🙏🏽
great watch great down to earth review nice one. really wanna buy this watch!
👊🏽💪🏽 thank you for the kind words
I was about to pull the trigger on this piece and then saw that the watch had 100M of water resistance. The Mariner has 300M. I'm a tad nervous of having a JLC on my wrist that I would want to keep at all times. Washing the car, swimming, beach time, etc. I just don't want to think about babying the piece on my wrist and worry about water intake. Am I being silly?
@@snowman7234 with 100M, you’re safe to do any of the activities listed. I’ve only worn mine on the beach once, I wouldn’t take it “diving” but walking on the shoreline is fine lol.
Putting the gloves on for this 1200€ watch made me giggle. However I didn’t hit the esc button and was surprised and awarded with a very nice review of my current daily wear watch. Nice job 👍
and what's so funny? it has mirror polished links and our guy wants to avoid fingerprints while filming it.
@@jirikrajnak9047 obviously we don’t agree on this and luckily I’m entitled to my opinion. I’m not wearing gloves when I’m wearing this watch. So far it hasn’t resulted in any damages.Thank you for giving me credit to like this video, besides the fact and have a wonderful day.
lol 😂 I didn’t want finger smudges everywhere. The internet can be savage, and someone roasted me on another video 🔥 🤣
💯
"Im not a rolex fanboy".... half of the collection is rolex homages 😂. Accept it bro. Rolex design is so timeless and strong, that most of the watches we like, are inspired by something rolex.
Half my collection is Rolex Homages?
@pedrocastro1568 Did you watch a different video? Where's the homages?
Is this a stolen watch?
I mean, I got it for such an amazing price, you can say that 😂 - but that was due to my charming good looks and personality 😇
Hi Jimi Seeing your Micro shots...is there any dust in the dial or am wrong?
No sir! Definitely from my shotty camera work lol 😂- I wish I knew how some of these tubers shoot in no dust environments. Either way, I have to send it off. The dreaded date wheel is an issue
Hi ok...my date version works thanks god just fine 😅
Was your date when you buy the watch working fine and started later to not switch the time?
@@davidhabjanic3032 That is correct. NO matter what you do, the date wheel will not advance
Beautiful watch! I picked up the blue one and love it. Yours looks amazing.
🙏🏽! The blue one is stunning 😍
Now THIS is a collection damn son

good video and review
Thank you 🙏🏽
Outstanding video, I really enjoyed hearing your feedback. Just out of interest, what was the reference of the GMT you mentioned? Before you got the later one with sandwich dial. Forgive me if I missed it. Thank you. Best regards, TGV
Cheers brother! Huge fan of yours. It’s the PAM00297 if I remember correctly, not sure it’s sited in the video lol
MASTER CONTROL CHRONOGRAPH CALENDAR could you explain how to set up the Moonphase on that watch? I find the instructions confusing…
Oh man I don’t own one!! I think there is a push button on the side. If you purchased it
Used, it may be missing the pin pusher
I couldn't decide between Green and Blue, but after watching your video, I went with Green. I think the gradients look nicer on Green compared to Blue. Can you share the link to the strap you use?
Very detailed review. Well done.
Thank you kindly!
Thanks for sharing. Great video.
Thanks for watching!
Great review. I just got my blue dial and love it. I ordered a blue and orange rubber strap for it as well on Aliexpress.
The orange combos is killer. I like the blue as well, but don’t want to be mistaken as a Seahawks fan
The color seems to bring out a nice green in some lighting. Great review!
It does! I love the way the dial changes color in different lights
New subscriber, love the content and keep up the great work!
