One of the nicest people I have ever met.
Yeah, I can play a little bit" then he commences to rip it!!! So modest, so talented. Kudos Wayne.
thanks for this awesome peek into Wayne's world!
What a gifted individual!
Wayne is truly a legend spilling over with talent
+The “Woody” Woodshop Yup, he certainly is!
"can you play the mandolin?"
"I can play a little bit"-WH
Shreds the mandolin.
I never believe people who say they are really good, and never believe people who say they are no good. In science it is called the Dunning-Kruger effect. The more you know, the less you THINK you know. The less you know, the more you think you know.
It’s the man himself that makes the guitars so special. In all honestly they don’t sound much different than a Martin I can get but the fact Henderson guitars are made by Wayne makes them so cool! Just a humble southern good ole boy who whittles out guitars with a pocket knife. It doesn’t get any better than that 😎👍🏻.
Thanks for this video. Saw another video on him. I wanted to see more of his work!🌝❤
Makes you want to yell Yee Ha! Beautiful craftsmanship and music from such a humble man, wonderful!
As part of an Airstream RV unit, I’ve been fortunate enough to have been to Wayne’s home, museum and shop (twice) during the Galax Music Festival. Fascinating guy for sure. #downtoearth
I would give anything to learn under this man.
The world needs more people like you.
Hello and best wishes from France ....

The inlay work is stunning. Such pretty guitars.
Plays them as well as he makes them .... Lovely
First time I ever saw someone thumb and finger pick a mandolin. Wow.

Thanks for watching Mick!
I am a fan of Wayne. I would love to own one of his guitars. I would also like to see the daughter do a video on making the pick guards. Awesome video. Thanks for sharing it.
Met Wayne one year at Puget Sound guitar camp. A great player and a fine gentleman.
Klasse Wayne
Wow! His guitars sound as awesome as his playing! Loved it!

Oooh. This'll be fun. Saving for later.
I love that full fretboard inlay.
Wow what a sweet sounding mandolin👍
That is a stunning acoustic in the beginning of the video. The detail is gorgeous.
Glad you liked it Matthew!
amazing love it would love to make a guitar my son plays always wanted to make him one
My first guitar I made in school and it was a can with a board and real strings. It didn't sound amazing. I've yet to build my second guitar :^) Wayne's guitars are a whole lot better!
OK, here's the deal. I'll trade you 100 Politicians for 1 Wayne Henderson. lol
as a wannabe musician/woodworker I got a real kick out of this video Joshua , thanks again for sharing .. atb ..
You're sure welcome Tony! BTW, where are you from?
I live in the Blue Mountains on the east coast of Australia .. a big time zone diff from you mate :-)
Tony Great...Australia's a place I've always wanted to go! Thanks for all your comments mate.
He told the most hilarious semi-dirty, yet clean, joke I've ever heard when I saw him in Richmond one time.
What's the name of the last song he played in the end of the video? Thanks!
Freight Train
Hi
What’s the name of that first tune he plays at the beginning of the video ?
Not sure, but it sounds great!
Wood and Shop
Just a heads up , it would appear it was Wayne’s take on ‘wheels’ by Cher Atkins 👍
