What an awesome and joyful video! This is the kind of build I aspire to one day. The paint job, the sound, the lack of trim needed, you should be very proud of this one! Amazing.
Guys, if you are a long time subscriber, you know this is not the only video, We will have what we call the performance flight next.. So, stay tuned for more action. Thanks, everyone for your interest in what we do. We hope, in the future you will be along for the ride and excitement when we bring you a new adventure. Thank you so much! Papa
You are right, it is NOT a DR7 but simply a D7. I flew mine with the tail skid for awhile but trying to turn from taxiing downwind became a real pain so I relented and installed a tail wheel after all. At 20 lbs you will find that this is a very lightly loaded airframe (18.6 oz/sq ft) and flies and handles like a dream. I originally installed a DLE 61 in mine and later exchanged it for a GP 60 electric which has far more power. Taking it easy I get 10 - 12 minutes on 2 6s 5000 packs (12s). A fabulous airplane with great manners - thanks again Hangar 9 and Ali Machinchy.
Great job guys! The Fokker DVII is also my favorite. I have an older electrifly version and I absolutely love it! These DVII's all seem to fly the same regardless of their size and are just a blast. You did a really nice job on the paint and choice of graphics as well. And the sound system is fantastic! That is one beautiful airplane! Take good care of her!
Papa, Wesley ,Man that is really nice. Setup looked perfect. Love the personal touch y’all put into your models. Just spot on. Love to see that one in person someday. 👍👍 wayyy up. 👊👍😎
Glen, thank you for your review. The Boozers are trying hard to be the best quality RC reviewers on the net. We are not there yet, but with people like yourself, we will keep trying. We also are inspired when we hear comments like yours. Hope you have fair winds and soft landings in your future. Papa
@@papaboozer3842 thanks Papa, I think the paint job that you did on the biplane looks great! I have a new 31 cc gasoline twin cylinder engine ready too go into a plane and was thinking of this one!? I know you can go as high as a 60cc. But Im thinking the boxer style twin 31cc would be OK for scale type flying. What are your thoughts?
@@RC-Flight Glen, I cannot say enough about this airplane. Yes, it is not a true scale airplane. If you want one of those you must go to Balsa USA. I would rather have good flight performance, than correct scale. Also, you can throw a lot of weight to this plane and not worry about performance. I am building a 1/3 scale Pup from Balsa USA, it will never fly like this plane and will be a pain to transport and assemble at the field. This plane for its size is designed well for transport. I have no droughts about your motor choice, watch the video from Horizon. Very informative.
Really nice job guys! Papa that paint job is absolutely stunning! I have one of these in the box...now you have me thinking sound system when I was considering selling it...I'm out of room. May have to just make it work! Very, very impressed. Great job. FYI...you can get a scale Axis propeller by Xoar from Just Model Props...and they are out of Florida. They are listed as gas props, but the electrics can turn them no issues. Got them on all my E WWI birds. They have several types of WWI painted props.
Love to see a video on your setup. I like the sound and the electric system but have no idea of your setup. I have this plane NIB and want it just like yours
SWEET. An amazing looking plane. This Old Man agrees with Big and Slow. Got 6 planes with sound systems. My problem is a large fleet of almost 60 planes out of space for any more large planes. Great flying Wes. Ms Lori always awesome video. Love you guys ✈️🧔💝💝
Hi Papa, what a brilliant display, I have built a 1/4 BUSA, I haven't flown as yet, I am interested in your all up weight of this model flying today by the way ,a gorgeous paint job 😀. Also the sound system, where is that sourced Kind regards Steve NZ 😀
Wow that is absolutely stunning! Kudos to both of you for making that! Curious about the sound system, any chance you can share a link to the one that you used? Again, great flight and look forward to hearing that thing cranked up and loud! LOL
Beautiful job Papa !! Beautiful flying Wes !!! The cockpit is looking amazing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Geez, and that's the 'scale' power setup. Great work all around.
Right I want to try it on the Spektrum 55cc electric motor now haha
Great flying and looking bird. I’m jealous. Great job guys.
Don't be jealous, take a challenge. Life is to short. I try to keep my repaints simple. I hope rhis lights a spark within. Papa
