I recommend it.Low price,high quality,easy to use and pretty to look at.Does extremely well up against Boss GE7.Definitely not s cheap toy and part of an ever growing chain of quality low cost pedals.
I have one of these but I have to make sure the amp is turned down when I first apply power to the eq pedal as it lets out an awful loud screech. Once power has been applied its ok. Sounds like it might be faulty, but I have had it too long to have it replaced. Is there an internal mod to stop this initial screech?
An eq is a good thing, but these things "freak out" sometimes in my effects loop, when I turn my amp on sometimes....I have to shut the amp down, and turn it back on. It sounds like a bunch of garbled, high pitch oscillating, mess...I'm getting an MXR because I think the one EQ is just "toast" now, it's hindering the guitar signal...

Do you feel the +/-12db range is enough?
Is the gain knob just a basic volume/level control?
what amp and or preamp are you using, the gain boost is a nice addition too

if there is no EMF and RF pollution near u there shouldnt be much noise

Do you get noise when you engage the pedal? Mine gets very noisy when the power supply is not isolated
