Kusanov, Marmoush, Vitor Reis, Cambiasso, Haaland extension, Echeverri incoming and Oscar Bobb back by the end of January. Man City could make one of the greatest mid-season comebacks in football history. Florian Wirtz/Musiala in the summer. Man City are targeting CL for the next decade.

Football fans are so weird, apparently he ruined his career by signing such a long contract but people forget that aside from this season man city have been the top 2-3 teams in the world consistently only real madrid can say the same.
With this new contract not only does he get to be the centerpiece but he is given so much money only saudi can rival it whilst getting to play in one of the best teams getting to compete for all the major trophies in the world.

yes because of pep. pep is going to leave soon so man city is the one club with the biggest unknown future. the wisest decision for haaland would be to wait until the new manager comes in before you decide, but penning your future down for 10 years BEFORE knowing who your next manager is at a club like city who has revolved their modern success around a certain coach is crazy

@@hao2000ki But the board and a large part of the upper management have stayed the same, from the rebuild in 2011 until Guardiola came. Manchester City won the joint-most Premier Leagues with 2 and never finished outside the top 4.
Besides, he has a release clause after 2029, so when he is 27/28, he can still leave; he is not tied down.
But I doubt he will leave because of how the City is run. Even post-Guerra, they might not be as successful, but they'll be right there competing.

They said the same about David Silva. They said KDB would leave. They said Haaland would leave. But the truth is they all fall in love and stay as long as they can. Why? Regarding the who’s more important between Haaland and Guardiola… it is Guardiola. He is the reason for this city success and even without Haaland he can win league titles. Foden false 9 proves it. Gundogan scoring streak proves it. Sterling 50 goal contributions in 2019 proves it. No matter what you give pep, he will find ways to win. I get what you’re saying tho with the Haaland potentially being an icon of the club, but pep did that with de bruyne and it worked out

Now it’s a question of is city committing to haaland, or is haaland committing to city? Aka, is city going to change their playstyle from being “keep possession even if that means sitting at the edge of the opposition box for 10+ minutes every attack” to a more traditional system to get haaland the most chances? Or is haaland going to focus more on dribbling and passing to fit city’s playstyle? I would say it could be a mix of both, but by the time haaland could possibly master his on the ball play, a new manager will be in who very well might switch up city’s playstyle

City are actually an amazing club. The aspect of them spending money is irrelevant, United spends money too, but they buy hojlunds and antonys 😂 Haaland being there will attract other top players and help in rebuilds. They’re here to stay. I mean where else would you go? The Spanish clubs are a joke really and he has a chance at breaking records in the prem. If they start winning again his trophy cabinet could put him in the history books.

Imagine being told 'no' when you're Klopp and you've done so much for the club.
And every season you don't get quality upgrades on the pitch.
