@@MattMajcanSo why is Haaland building a legacy then? Why did Aguero, Kompany and Silva build a legacy so that they now have statues around the stadium? We’ve been THE most successful club in English football in the last 12 years and we will continue to be for the next 12 whether you like it or not so get over it and stop crying 😭 And before you come back with the 115, the club already know we’re getting found not guilty which is why Haaland committed his future to the club plus 3 new players are coming in on long contracts. That wouldn’t happen if the club knew they were guilty.
@@Cityzen567 thats great and all but nobody outside of manchester cares. thats the problem. the legacy is fake, and no one respects it. everyone is just waiting for the city project to finish so we can get back to real football. pep will never been seen in the same class as fergie or wenger. when people look back theyll just remember that annoying time that city bought the league for a number of years.
One of the bright spots about City falling off this season is Haaland’s play style is becoming a lot more enjoyable to watch. Contrary to what a lot of people realize who never saw him play at Dortmund and Salzburg, Haaland is an absolute machine on the counterattack. And an absolute menace in open space. If you’ve been closely watching City over the past month, Haaland is starting to play a lot more in open space. And he’s already so much more fun to watch.
His hold up is great, he's actually not bad with the ball, his passing accuracy is underrated and world class finishing. Always on it. Just needs service, it will come.
@@kattphattI’ve watched every single game he has played for city. I would love to agree with you but his hold up play is not great by any reasonable definition of great. With Haaland, it’s hit or miss if he’s going to hold the ball up when it’s played to him under pressure. He strikes me as a big fellow who never learned how to hold the play up and protect the ball with his giant body because he so fast and prefers to run in behind the defenders. For great hold up play, watch didier drogba.
I think becoming a father has helped in the decision making process more than breaking records. Norwegians are very family oriented and stability is important. I think he is happy with the club and with the people around him. He makes more than enough money. If records get broken, great, but I don't think it's his primary concern. Try meditating on some rocks in the middle of a river and you may come to understand
115 months just to troll the premier league We won the case but then again we will get a fine for not cooperating so I guess everyone will say we just lost it again🤷♂️
Harry Kane is 31. He’s got about 2 great years left so that’s terrible argument. Also Dortmund and Bayern have players literally go directly from one to the other all the time and this wouldn’t be direct.
I don't see the reason for any outcry regarding City's outlay on Haland. It is just an employee renewing a contract with his employer..not very different to the way an engineer at Google gets a raise or a new deal based on their work.
A think once he breaks shearer's record in the prem depending how old he is he'll still have he's choice of club to choose from and he might be tempted by a move abroad
It's when you hear people talk about best players in the league that you realise how impressive what Pep gas done to win 4 out 5 Pls with only about 1/2 best players in the league...
Bent lost all respect and shows he knows nothing after declaring Allison the top goalkeeper if he picks a team on form. Most Liverpool fans I talk to don't want him as first choice and want Kelleher in net instead.
Ever wondered why so many great players stay for so long at City? Aguero, Silva, KDB, Kompany, etc… it’s not just the money, it’s the infrastructure, the training facilities, how the club treats its players.
The fact he's a City fan? The fact his family have a box? The fact his dad played for City and he's his mentor and agent? Imagine thinking cash is the leading motivation for every decision. Bizarre.
Respectfully I’d agree but this season only haaland hasn’t been getting the service which is why his numbers aren’t to his level. But I get what your saying they are two different types of forwards

Not worth the paper it’s written on! Makes no difference if a year on his contract or ten years! City just simply protecting an asset! If Madrid come calling with £150m in a suitcase, then off he’ll trot!
@ That would depend if he continues to score loads of goals. Also there’s age to consider but it’s still asset protection or is it when he’s being paid £500k per week! 🤔
Bold of you to assume Madrid would still go for him and you can't sign or even negotiate with haaland till 2029 that's what the contract says so the fee is gonna be very high that's minus the salary
Dude was born with money. This decision is about legacy and breaking records.
if someone wanted to build a legacy man city is the last club in the world they would go to.

Haaland has service. Isak doesn't have as much, and needs to work for it more. Isak is a better all round package.
I just want the one who scores the most goals. The other strikers can do they're non goalscoring stuff.
Isak is great but Haaland has done this repeatedly it’s not normal.
@CircumNet I'd agree, but with service from a world class team. Isak doesn't have that: he does the hard work to make his goals and assists.
