Imma be honest, Khusanov wasn't as bad. Granted that his first 5 mins were some of the worst he'll ever have, he bounced back. Today’s match showed the importance of having a ‘Bernardo Silva’ in your team. His work rate is insane! Every team needs to have a player that will be an engine and work hard offensively and defensively. He’s been crucial in city’s success and can literally play in any position. He always tries his best and gives 110% every time he plays, even if he makes a few mistakes. I really liked watching him play today as he was dropping deep to ease the pressure of Khusanov. If he never dropped deep, Khusanov might still have been nervous. I don’t think Pep told Bernardo to drop deep but he still chose to do so. This is what makes a great teammate. The reason people are writing Foden off is because he has been completely anonymous this season. A decent performance against the mess that is chelsea doesn’t change much.
Never said anything about his last few games. My only point was saying A) people (not necessarily me) were writing off Foden for fair reason - because he was anonymous (Not being picked and having no impact for most of this season) B) Him playing decently well against a fragile Chelsea team on a crap run of form isn’t significant.
As a Chelsea fan, I think the issue with Palmer in big games is usually the fact he plays much deeper against the better teams than he should because of how deep Caicedo needs to drop to cover the fact we have a calamity in our defence waiting to happen, so he as a number 10 needs to fill in the hole to make sure that Enzo isn't overrun in a 2/3 v 1 for 90 minutes.
yeah that's true tbf, he does a lot of the deeper playmaking, but then again still, when his chance to create things comes, I don't think he does the best with those chances (imo)

After 5 min i started feeling bad for khusanov, and was thinking why they did this for that kid. He was doing alright in france then brought him to a stressful club, league and environment.
Marmoush had a great debut but City need to get their midfield in order if they ever want to regain their glory days. It's not just about Rodri. For me culprit number one is Bernardo Silva. He's played almost the same way his entire career, for club and country and almost never gets criticised. He's short and his movements are exaggerated so it always seems like he's about to do something but bro literally literally plays zero incisive through balls. It's okay if he was rarely on the ball. But this guy makes it his mission to go get the ball wherever it is like a little terrier, short pass here short pass there, gets it from this guy then that guy and basically circulates the ball back and forth without playing a single good through ball. Haaland has been making run after run his entire City career without being found by Silva and today Marmoush on his debut was on the last man's shoulder so many times waiting for a ball that never arrived. @mohamed7595 Typical list of : work rate, energy, gives his best..Let me address your points. One you said he works hard offensively and defensively. Defensively sure I'll let it slide, even though it's not his main job. What does working hard offensively mean? If it means ball hogging and not doing anything with it while appearing to, then yeah that's not good enough. And about dropping deep, today yes it was to help Khusanov but I wasn't talking about just today. He always drops deep which isn't bad if he actually did something with the ball. He plays all over the midfield but in effect he is depriving better skilled attackers of the ball in the time he has it. Also he's not in the team to be the hard worker, his primary job is to create goals for others or himself. Almost every player is a hard worker. But I call it the Alexis Sanchez effect. If you sprint randomly here and there throughout the game fans will call you the hardest runner even though your teammates cover more miles than you during the actual game
As a city fan, the dig on Palmer is a bit harsh. Bro is only 22 and has only played 1 full professional season as a starting player his entire career. I can't recall anyone having that kind of weight and surpass it the way he did. He'll eventually come up in the big games more often.

Still think his mistake was a pretty bad mistake - having a man on you and you are trying to header it with barely any space, just kick it back to gk safely!! He is nowhere near ready to play with the main team yet in matches because watching him he really did look like a kid trying to play against men I mean if you watched how he positioned himself, he was very very back which means the offside line is going to be messed up and watching city play out the back, they tried to give the minimal amount of passes to khusanov as you have kovacic and bernardo really steady to come back. I think its actually a good thing he played and not just started stones or whatever because now there is clear stuff that the coaching team can address to khusanov to try add to him game. I also want to point out how world class man city are at short passing, Khusanov is decent by all means but the level is so different and just shows you how world class the man city squad are as they rarely mess up passes and they are right to your foot. Also Marmoush was electric that game, really good stuff from him especially having a goal disallowed from him, shows you how lethal he can be. I think khusanov is still a great player and having him show his raw ability without the system guidance and experience the coaches want, he is a solid player I mean he his defensive ability is no joke... I think current city form is great and if we keep showing good results like this, who is stopping us from competing in the title race?
Nkunu since coming on in the 61st min: 0 shots 18 touches 0 key passes 2 ground duels won 1 aerial duel won lost possession twice 1 tackle. What a catastrophic sub appearance 🤣
I am now so confident that we will beat Club Brugge. Our attack just looks so much better and floating better when Marmoush is there. He is also very fast and he loves stick early which makes a hell for any backs. Other than that Nunes is really, really adapting into that RB/MF role, he is in my opinion better than Lewis in that position. A lot to look forward to!
We need to put a missing person poster up for Cole Palmer because that’s another big game in which he goes missing. He is terrible at pressing and gets pressed too easily. We saw this in the Liverpool game. He’s the English Özil. A classic number 10 that’s really good at creation and going forward but the all around game is lacking, so he becomes a luxury player they can easily become a passenger in high stakes games where the pressing is hard. He’s symbolic of the Chelsea recruitment problem in that we have too many technical players and not enough strong and big ones like Lavia who are also technically sound. Hence why we need an experienced striker and another midfielder in the profile of Lavia that we can pair with Santos when he comes back.
How a team with almost 6 attackers and two wonderkids on loan, can spend 60 M on Garnacho with a goalkeeper like Sanchez while keepers like Lunin, Kelleher is warming the bench.
Lyes, curious to know what you make of Forest's unexpected capitulation against Bournemouth yesterday? I mean, they've been in such great form, losing 5-0 all of a sudden is just shocking.
personally, when I see cole struggling in games like this, its a physicality thing. When I saw him v united, when we had 2 hands on him he couldn't do shit. Chelsea needs his preseason tour to be in Alabama so he can blulk up
As a Chelsea fan, it's embarrassing that we've spent all this money and we still don't have a top ST, CB, or GK. Sanchez is the worst keeper this club has ever had. We need to fix up because top 4 isn't a sure thing anymore
Marmoush was good , but he faced James who is really good defender. When i saw that James will get sub i was thinking that now he is going to cook , but he was subbed same time
If Chelsea can secure a GK, CB and proper striker we’ll be okay, Until then.. we’ll struggle. I feel like our wingers will improve once we get a striker.
9:17 i think its harsh to blame sanchez on the first goal , maduekee shouldve tracked his man instead of standing still. the second goal though absolute disaster , sanchez is a good shot stopper and decent in his cross claiming but is he horrible sweeper and ball player
Chelsea keeper and CB signings: Robert Sanchez Djordje Petrovic Filip Jorgensen Mike Penders Wesley Fofana Benoit Badiashile Axel Disasi Tosin Adarabioyo Aaron Anselmino €265m (£220m) such an average backline. in the context of how much money they’ve spent, Chelsea’s squad building has been terribleeee- to think £1.4B has been spent and they still don’t have a top GK, any real top-quality experience in the backline, or a prolific striker is crazy. they’ve been trying to cheat the game with this youth thing and i don’t know if one day it’ll come off, but for me with that amount of money spent, the quality should be ready to affect games here & now- and at the very very least finish top 4 for the first time in THREE years. if Chelsea don’t finish in CL places this season, it is an absolute failure on every level
City won today without any passers in midfield And they need to get passers or else they'll keep passing it back cuz bernado, kovacic and gundogan aren't necessarily great passers and chance creators Haalands hold up play and the long balls won them the game
How can our (Chelsea) board not see that everytime we won the prem we had elite goalkeepers and strikers. (Czech & Drogba, Courtois & Costa) You ain‘t winning anything with Sanchez & Jackson

Nkunu since coming on in the 61st min:
0 shots
18 touches
0 key passes
2 ground duels won
1 aerial duel won
lost possession twice
1 tackle.
What a catastrophic sub appearance 🤣
He’s checked out of Chelsea . We need to get rid asap
Khusanov sounds like some FM regen name lmao. Omar Marmoush as well
7:34 He is Onana on crack!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Great stephen a impression woth the "he is on crack"
Khusanov will learn slowly still new in the league bro
feel bad for khusanov lowkey... at least he didn't completely crumble
Lyes, curious to know what you make of Forest's unexpected capitulation against Bournemouth yesterday? I mean, they've been in such great form, losing 5-0 all of a sudden is just shocking.
Same happened to Newcastle... Bournemouth are insane this season
personally, when I see cole struggling in games like this, its a physicality thing. When I saw him v united, when we had 2 hands on him he couldn't do shit. Chelsea needs his preseason tour to be in Alabama so he can blulk up
Jackson might be the worst striker in the league this season
maresca litterally struggled to win promotion last season while being clear in january i expected this drop off from his steam
Don't forget the offside goal where sanchez dropped the ball in front of two city players. If silva shot instead it would've counted.
As a Chelsea fan, it's embarrassing that we've spent all this money and we still don't have a top ST, CB, or GK. Sanchez is the worst keeper this club has ever had. We need to fix up because top 4 isn't a sure thing anymore
Sanchez played better then his defense
funny how people were saying chelsea were going to finish top 2 this season LMAOAOOA
Chelsea have so many good goalkeepers out on loan too 😂
Chelsea keeper and CB signings:
Robert Sanchez
Djordje Petrovic
Filip Jorgensen
Mike Penders
Wesley Fofana
Benoit Badiashile
Axel Disasi
Tosin Adarabioyo
Aaron Anselmino
€265m (£220m)
such an average backline. in the context of how much money they’ve spent, Chelsea’s squad building has been terribleeee- to think £1.4B has been spent and they still don’t have a top GK, any real top-quality experience in the backline, or a prolific striker is crazy. they’ve been trying to cheat the game with this youth thing and i don’t know if one day it’ll come off, but for me with that amount of money spent, the quality should be ready to affect games here & now- and at the very very least finish top 4 for the first time in THREE years. if Chelsea don’t finish in CL places this season, it is an absolute failure on every level
I mean think about it .. new league, doesn’t speak english I mean bro the guy must’ve been hella nervous so props to him for making up his mistake
Chelsea fans have been pretty humble. Heard more noise from you United fans after the first few weeks of Amorim
Marmoosh is gonna be a star. Excellent play by Haaland but Gvardiol MOM without doubt.
marmoush is bouta be top 10 itw
Where is the Arsenal vs Wolves Review Lyes?
Haaland played decent but if I was him I wouldn’t be proud of that goal
Cole can’t carry us every game I don’t blame him without him we would be relegated
Next phase Pep, I repeat is the 3-4-3
City won today without any passers in midfield
And they need to get passers or else they'll keep passing it back cuz bernado, kovacic and gundogan aren't necessarily great passers and chance creators
Haalands hold up play and the long balls won them the game
If you thought Onana was absolute shambles at GK
Sanchez is Onana pro max, premium edition
How is sanchez the first choice? I don’t understand
115 charges vs 115 players haha
knew we would lose months ago lmao
So who is worse, Sanchez or Onana?
Sanchez has 5 errors leading to goals which is the most in the league and Onana is unpredictable. They’re both as bad as each other
Both are shit lmao. But hey at least Onana has decent matches😂
How can our (Chelsea) board not see that everytime we won the prem we had elite goalkeepers and strikers. (Czech & Drogba, Courtois & Costa) You ain‘t winning anything with Sanchez & Jackson
At least Chelsea fans got what they wanted, They're fighting for top 4 now, and might be fighting for top 6
Silva should have gotten a red no doubt
