When editing in the DX11 and DX12 text, I was at the last part of the video where the graph is bigger, so I didn't see that the text covers the stats for the rest of the video. My bad there I'm still new to this shit 😭
Oh shit lmao didn't notice, when editing I was on the last bit where the graph is bigger lol, for me 11 works better. I play on 1440p all low settings. DX12 is just inconsistent for me at the moment
@@HankBaxter You play Apex on Linux? That's awesome. I wonder what kind of FPS boost I would get if I switched. I'm using Windows 11 right now. RTX 4060 Laptop, i9-13900H up to 5.4GHz, 16GB 3200 MT/s (= 1600 MHz?) DIMM.
It's not worth switching for Apex alone imo since the game caps at 300fps which I'm sure 4060 can do easily. Regardless many people suggest capping fps to 180 as after that micro stutters and crashes may occur
@@ReasonMakes only way to play Apex reliably on Linux is via Steam. But if you're using a laptop, Linux is usually way lighter on your system, no bloatware or spyware, and you can get super light versions for laptops. If you want a gaming-focused system, go for Garuda, which has most of the gaming stuff set up out of the box, or Bird of Prey (Garuda light). I run dual boot for a few games that only work on Windows. (Rockstar games, Xenia emulator) but most work these days with a bit of tweaking. Dual booting is a great way to test out a new OS.
Idk how u getting same or better performance with dx12...For me dx 12 gives me at least 40 less fps and alot more frame drops.I have a rtx 2060 and an i3-10100f so my gpu is a little bit too powerful for my cpu but idk

Did you not rewatch your own video? 😂
Dang. That bid DX12 is blocking the 1% lows. Ah well. Which do you prefer?

@@notbatman4587 fair enough. I'm just happy the game is running smooth this update on DX11. (using Linux)
