Hilarious hookup from the Marlins bullpen at Camden Yards

- This. Was. Amazing. I was hoping to get the lineup card or maybe just a baseball, but this was an unexpectedly pleasant alternative from Miami Marlins bullpen coach Wellington Cepeda -- and it was much more useful in the moment.
Really, though, I could've used some luck when Anthony Santander and Colton Cowser were at bat. They were going for their 100th and 1st career home runs, respectively, but neither of them were able to get it done. The hitting star of the game was Marlins 2nd baseman Luis Arraez who went 4-for-5 and raised his season batting average to .386, but the Baltimore Orioles squeezed out a win.
Another personal highlight for me was using my "cup trick" to snag a baseball WELL out of reach below the batter's eye in center field, so hopefully you enjoy seeing that.

PS. I got the lineup cards of game 2 from the home plate umpire. They are my first lineup cards ever.

Nice stadium security was cool with the cup trick especially since it took you several tries to get the ball. I was at Guaranteed Rate Field Yesterday. There was no batting practice but there was a ball that was fungoed into visitor's bullpen and I tried using the cup trick. Less than a minute into me trying to get it, a security guard yelled at me and said don't do that. I apologized and told him that I just was trying to get a ball. I asked him for the ball, but he gave it to someone else. Fortunately, I was able to find another ball in the left field gap and was able to cup trick that ball without any hassle from security.

I just watched your movie and I'm surprised that adults say such horrible things about you catching baseballs while they are standing behind you with a glove on wanting to catch the same balls. Only in New York some might say. In almost every home run hit on sports center it's an adult catching it or a kid chasing it down in an open area so it's not just about kids. At what age are you suppose to stop wanting a baseball? I love the sport and in my early 40s I still never got a ball but I'm still trying bc I love the sport and want that small piece of the game of my own so I can relate. Keep it up!
