Fragrance Wars - There can ONLY BE ONE!!! R60 Designer Perfume?!?!?!

- The liquid inside a bottle of Designer Perfume costs less than R20 to make! But because the designer brands collaborate with their chosen retailers, all perfume lovers are forced to pay an average price of R1800+ a bottle for R20’s worth of liquid!
This cannot be right! I will not stand by and watch poor people being conned out of their money. I hope that this documentary and all the other videos that we have posted, will educate the viewer with regards to the workings of an industry, that in my opinion has not and does not act in the public good.
And for the naysayers! I am not suggesting that anyone should not spend R1800+ of their hard earned money for R20’s worth of liquid. My intent is to ensure that they KNOW what they are buying and to make sure that they have all the facts before they make that R1800+ purchase!
I challenge any of the owners of the designer brands and/or their retail collaborators to a public debate, to disprove what I say. I cannot wait to see how they justify how R20’s worth of liquid ends up at a “Recommended” price of R1800+00. Just to give them a heads up for any debate - I am going to suggest it is nothing more than price fixing! Not creative marketing, not scarcity, not exclusivity, not clever intellectual property - PRICE FIXING!!!!
I hope that we are the catalyst that will make designer perfume affordable to everyone and not just the LUCKY (that is wealthy) FEW!!

I've been using their perfumes for 2 years they are the best. Sillage and longevity are out of this world, you even smell it after you've washed your clothes.

When I first discovered you guys in Cresta , I bought for my entire family and 5 bottles for myself , been using your fragrances for the past year and I must say they smell exactly like the originals and last longer no lie. Thanks for being on the consumer side its highly appreciated.

It is absolutely amazing that the designer perfume industry and their retail collaborators have managed to pull the wool over the consumers eyes! Imagine them trying to do this in the toothpaste category (toothpaste and perfume cost around the same to make). Designer Toothpaste in a fancy (but worthless) glass tube going cheap at R1500. The compliments I keep getting since I started using fine fragrances, truly a confidence booster. Because it's so affordable, I don't have to reserve the perfume for special occasions. I be smelling like a million bucks on a random Saturday morning at the local supermarket. We are grateful for this product and will continue to support it.

Since I went to Cresta mall and got a special it was December time, I was madly in love and felt important wherever I went. Option two - small range (top 20), less complexity, low price (R60). We think option two is a better business model because it accesses more people to designer perfume. 😊

I strongly agree!! I've been using Fine Fragrance perfume for I think the last 13 years and nothing else. I have tried other counter brands but it is just not worth it to try another countered brand.
