Musique was a studio project by Patrick Adams, best known for the song "In the Bush." It consisted of five singers, Christine Wiltshire, Angela Howell, Gina Taylor Pickens, Mary Seymour Williams and Jocelyn Brown.
When my family moved to Brooklyn (New York) in 1978, there was a place across the street from our home with a jukebox. I always played this song. It's now 2019 and we're still in the same house. Disco lives forever!
Yes Disco does live forever. It's said however that some people had a movement to ban disco. Hate really sucks. If music makes you move and makes you happy, sobeit. You've never seen a movement hating any other genre of music whether it was Rock, Metal, or Country. We just leave people alone and let them do whatever they wanna do. But to hate Disco really uncovers something more than what it was/is and we all know what it is. #pinkelephant

I was just 17 when this song came out I was sneaking into the bar Studio 1 in Dayton Ohio and the DJ mixed this song to no ends the ppl would be on the dance floor for hours great memories
I dated an older lady who lived in Brooklyn since the early 50's. Disco was her heyday. When she moved in with meshe had her records shipped from Brooklyn to Florida and this was one of her many gems in her collection. The stories she told of New York at that time were mind blowing. I grew up in Brooklyn at this time too. I was 6-years old when this song came out but I remember my mother and her friends having many parties. it was a fun time.

Your right man that was the window of its height I lived in Miami then and we Cubans were tearing it up at the clubs down there lol lol what a time!
As a little kid I knew something amazing was happening with the adults but I didn't know exactly what, LOL! But I do remember what a great era it was overall and how grand everything seemed, if that makes sense. This song was definitely the ZENITH of that sound and era for me.

Half way into the Disco night and this song playing outloud. I remember being dancing and jamming like these three ladies in the control room. There's nothing like Disco music keep you in good spirit.🕺

I was a freshman in High School when this came out 1978 and we went to se them at club 2001 in East Orange New Jersey
Thank God they remastered this album, the bass was and drums were always flat, now it has deep bottom. Thank you Unidisc!

I have this CD. The only three songs on this album were 'Keep On Jumpin', 'Summer Love', and 'In The Bush'. And yet these three cuts were all that were needed for this Unidisc album to sell like hotcakes. I would own it a million times over...
Another big Unidisc seller was Gino Soccio. His track 'Dancer' was definitely a disco classic...

My wife bought me Gino's, Dancer on extended version and it's 8:23 ! Kept hearing it on Sirius Radio, Studio 54 station for years!

The best of funky music you just can't help it but to keep on jumpin, I listen to some radio stations here in London England, and the music they play is crap, it's all serious rap or noise about don't do drugs get involved with gangs, or carry a knife to stab somebody the music here reflects the society we live in, I grew up with this happy groovy music, went to clubs there was no violence, or race hatred everybody was happy naturally, there was no drugs, just a social drink and even when people got a bit merry it was hey let's get onto the dance floor people here have become too serious and uptight, 😭bring back the great sound of the late seventies early eighties Jazz funk soul and disco, the Gibson brothers started it all off with Saturday night fever, you should be dancing yeah, I used to meet up with my friends on a Saturday night in a local pub, we were all young casuals designer clothes Farah slacks double breasted blazers patent shoes, smellin of Givinchy or Paco Raban, had a few jars there, when closing time came, it was off to a club in toottenham call Eltons great music great vibe, it was pure magic xx♥️🇮🇪❤️🇰🇿😍💏🍀👍 lucky 🍀 ☘ like Irish.

Didn't know this song existed. I heard Martha Wash & Jocelyn's version about 10 years ago. I wanted to listen to that version again (after years of not hearing it) because I NEED REAL VOCALISTS WHO CAN ACTUALLY SING! Being able to actually sing is an option nowadays, isn't it? Boy I sound OLD! :-)
