    I was looking for information on stainless steel cookware. You did cover it near the end, but you didn't list it at 2:00 as one of the types you would cover, so I almost turned off the video at that point. If there is some way you could edit that part and tell the viewers you will cover stainless steel, you might get more viewers watching the whole thing.

    Having just scratched our new smooth top glass radient heat hob I was hoping you would advise the best way to get scratches out of the glass surface. Any suggestions please! 🙌

    Thank you for this video. I say in the comments that you scrolled through about a previous video that "real cooks use fire." I recently read a long article stating that all gas appliances should be eliminated in the future in favor or electrifying such appliances such as stoves, furnaces and boilers. Scientists have discovered that ALL gas appliances emit small amounts of gas. These gases are the cause of asthma and many other health conditions that, heretofore, have been classified as cause unknown.

      @@irarosenberg Looking to replace my non stick pans with carbon steel with my radiant stove, but I'm worried about warping and difficulty cleaning. Any advice for me?

      @danoenco9487 I have had no issues using carbon steel pans on my glass top range. It does take a bit longer for them to come up to temperature than gas but not really different than aluminum cookware.

    • @irarosenberg
      @irarosenberg 6 місяців тому +1

      @danoenco9487 Regarding cleaning, it is different than non-stick cookware. After cleaning with soap or just a light rinse and scrub I put them back on for about 5 minutes on medium to dry them out thoroughly and sometimes lightly oil with olive or grapeseed oil.

    I presume stainless steel pans are best for stopping the problem getting worse!

    A lot of bad and misinformation on this that's for sure.
    A quick note you want a thicker surface cookware to maintain a regular Heat instead of going up and down all the time.
    When this guy tries to convince you that your pots and pans are bad (warped)and that's why the heating cycle clicks on and off that's how heating Cycles work, that's how your oven works, that's how all electric tops work that's how heat sources work your furnace works that way, hot water heaters space heaters too.. it's never a constant temperature it Cycles on and off to maintain that temperature.
    Take this video with a grain of salt.
