When you are a filmmaker who LOVES filmmaking, you will break and burn through film items. This goes for most beloved hobbies. Guitarists who play regularly will break strings. Drummers will break drum heads and cymbals and drumsticks. Chefs will burn and poorly cook food at times before finding the perfect recipe.
Casey gets some of the best shots compared to most bloggers BECAUSE he is willing to risk the equipment for the shot. Most other bloggers are the opposite. Therefore, in many cases, they have a smaller audience, which can lead to smaller sponsorships/revenue, which can make money a bit more tight.

The censors are on the bottom of the drone and he was moving the drone upward so the drone couldn't detect that there was a obstacle in the way.

First of all; The amount of money totally depends on the partner company. There is no strict rule that says 1m views=1k or anything like that.
Second of all; Casey doesn't monetize his vids, as you can notice there are no ads. The ads that show up are Google ads and every video has them.

I know why people get mad at you, because instead of REPAIRING the damage, like a NORMAL person, you merely replace the item. Not everyone has that luxury. And I Do understand your philosophy on the subject, but that doesn't totally negate you from respecting your property. If I knew you and you asked to borrow ANYTHING from me, I would probably say "No" because it really seems (to the outsider not aware of who YOU are) that you simply have no respect for you own belongings and therefore wouldn't have a second thought about theirs. If that were my drone, I would have to repair it, because it cost me WAY too much money than to simply scrap it and get a new one. And, don't get me wrong, I know of your humble beginnings. It just seems like you have forgotten that yourself.

I disagree. As seen in this video the drone was far beyond repair. Even with his other examples in which his drones weren't as damaged, they are tools for him to use in order to make his vlogs better, and if he was constantly worried about trashing his equip. then his vlogs wouldn't be as good.
Casey literally makes so much money, it would cost him MORE to find a place to fix it, pick it up etc etc, than for him to trash it and go to the Apple Store and buy a brand new one. I'm speaking in terms of time/manHours. Between this and all of his companies, I'd say Casey is clearing well around $350-$400/HR.
