For those wondering. The fight from 35:09 to 43:55 explained by Grubby took 50 seconds in real time. Insane.

His dark knight was almost naked, but your melee heroes were so charged up that he didn't even dare to do something about them, so he willingly swallowed all 4 war stomps from your TC - it's a lot of stun time for such a short fight.

Those breakdowns were great. Id love it if you sprinkled in some sped-up post-game breakdowns for particularly fast games or those where you dont do as much live commentary, and do more slow-motion breakdowns for big fights like that. Awesome content!
as far as i remember form 20 years ago you initiate a fight by attackmoving, then make sure to use at least 1 spell of each hero you got on the best targets so you dont lose a fight with full mana like an idiot and then you should have about 1 second left to move/heal your unit that the enemy focuses the most out of range and then keep microing from there

I think he should have sent ghouls into the battle to create confusion and put some pressure on the berserkers. His plan to suppress the berserkers with wyrms was never going to work.
I remember losing against u 2v2 and u controlled both teams at the same time
Offline I easily beat hard difficulty as human but you made me afk rage quit and blaming my high ping lol

43:43 some twitch commenter asked if he purged the wyrm--No, it flew North. About 10-20 seconds earlier someone asked why BM remains unfocused--dude is an absolute unit, almost as tanky as TC--10 armor, 1k hp, and holding an invuln pot

Beautiful to see possession in a high level game. Undead did really well, and the recap is a good idea
it was great to see you micro your units and it was impressive to hear you explain everything, it was really too fast to understand what happened but you were able to do it (war3 is still a great game for those who get it)
Man seeing playing orc and dominating is satisfying since lyn (the best orc in the tournament) got destroyed by other players

I wouldn't have thought that Envenomed Spears damage would be blocked by Anti-Magic Shell, since you can see Envenomed Spears working on Dryads in epic Orc vs Night Elf games. But then again, Anti-Magic Shell works against Batrider splash, so maybe it's just bugged.

I will never understand why buildings don't give exp to heroes
They used to in reign of chaos but people started mass towers to creep. And reign of chaos creeps gave massive xp and gold until lvl 10 heroes.

Will shades always follow you, or can you run away with speed scroll etc.? Or is it that they will forever go in your direction, even if you move several screens away?
you can run away--they have the same AI as other units--you can issue a follow command, but if your unit loses vision around a corner or just out of vision, it cancels the follow

You could give build-order for NE while I caress your back. I'm thinking 60/40 split and no strings attached.

i've seen some other breakdowns--you get diminishing returns on the attack speed, and the crits hit for far less
@grubby could u make a video highlighting the usefulness of banshees? Maybe Pitlord 1st Dk 2nd, few fiends statues frost wyrms? Or is that too much tech? Any combination you can make work. Pitlord howl of terror + Curse sounds amazing.

i wonder if you can win a game going full horde (4 heroes only, no units except peons) . in comando mode hero gets fast lvl and and high lvl skill, will this be easier or harder to do?
Wait so If you kill something with burrow you dont get xp? Does this also work for towers, ziggurats etc? I'm trying to learn this game
What if they made enemy nameplates red? At least you know if your enemy was dying, not you. Or yellow, thats even more visible

What was the purpose of goblin woodcutter micro?
if he walks back to base and then starts cutting trees--it will greatly delay the first 200 wood he carries back--grubby needed wood now, so chopping trees on his way back accelerated his first return on his investment by about 5-10 seconds

Why tower kills dont give xp? atleast vs enemy player? I heard u said it was changed because people abused towers for creeping. cant u still just last hit the creeps with ur hero/unit and abuse it like before?
I hate big battles like the last one. It's just so overwhelming; there are too many stimuli.

This game genuinely has the worst voice lines. I don't understand why the Blademaster is Japanese.
"I am Hiro and obey" is just terrible. Is his name Hiro? No. All of the human voice lines are Christian for some reason. The only ones I like are the orc peons and grunts, and the human peasants. I miss Ogre Magi

is the zoom distance between BN and W3C different? tried 1920 on BN and feels like so fucking far away, like playing sims. unplayable, I'm trying 1800 on reforged.
also the zoom varies a lot between classic and reforged. I'm playing on a 42 inch tv.
Hex ignoring antimagic shell? WTF?!
Anti magic shield was changed a while back to only give a 300 HP spell damage absorption shield instead of full magic immunity.

at the time of the tourney he would have won, but not now--tyler dantes and pink would beat him in 3v1 by rushing t1 unless there was some HP handicap.
