In NSMBDS it's this weird Blooper with babies. They take too much space, have unpredictable patterns and eat their own children for some kind of rainbow move. As if Bloopers weren't annoying enough in their normal form...
@@harrybest2041 I also found this name while researching, but I haven't seen any mention of the rainbow attack, so I wasn't sure if it's actually the same.
Going back to Mario bros 2 there’s one annoying enemy is the floating mask that comes to life when you pick up a key. I believe the enemy is called phantom or phantom. Feel free to correct me.
NSMB2 came out three months before NSMBU. While I'm on the subject, something I feel I should clear up: New Super Mario Bros. Wii was the sequel to New Super Mario Bros. until New Super Mario Bros. 2 came out, which made the Wii title its own thing for the next few months before it got its own sequel in New Super Mario Bros. U. The same thing happened in the '90s with Kirby's Dream Land and Kirby's Adventure, each getting their own sequels in Kirby's Dream Land 2 and Kirby Super Star, respectively. The former got two more.
I'm surprised I didn't see that weird human-like enemy that doesn't die unless you hit him with two Superballs for a star in Super Mario land. Stop on them and they get flat but then they just come right back. I don't know I honestly found the spiders in Super Mario Land to be really easy and I noticed that you never tried to kill the charging chucks with your cape in Super Mario World. They literally get killed in one hit by your cape. But yes depending on the placement of them and what variant they are the charging chucks can get annoying
When I first played through Super Mario Bros. 3, the big bass was always my mortal enemy. I would always have trouble beating the level, no matter what power up I had
Oh yeah this Hammer bros that standing on the flying blocks throws the hammers everywhere and you can kill it by hitting under it and then stand on it kinda like Hammer bro and Lakitu combined
2 things 1. I think you should not have left out "Super Mario Bros 2 The Lost Levels" as while most of the enemies are the same some of them are harder in that game as opposed to the original, also you should never forget to mention that "Super Mario Bros 2 USA" is actually the game "Yume Kojo Doki Doki Panic" even if doing so has become redundant, 2. If you need a new idea for a video like this how about one that shows Easter eggs in one game from another especially if they are obscure references like Tetris, in other words you could do a video called "every Tetris reference in every Nintendo game" just a thought
I personally find Boss Bass to be the most annoying enemy in Super Mario Bros 3. since he can swallow you even when you're powered up and he respawns almost right away whenever you kill him.
The Sniffits were annoying though I never really had a problem with Cobrats and liked that enemy, even though they basically do the same thing that I disliked. But I did encounter the Sniffits first and it took two years before I could really make it to the first level with Cobrats so maybe I was just too used to it by then. And I was annoyed by the Lakitus/Spinies, Hammer Brothers, and Piranha Plants at first.
Personally I find some of those to be okay, but one that always bothers me is dry bones. They often reside on narrow platforms, can't be killed, and sometimes just outright switch directions after they're getting stomped on, which is not an easy to anticipate pattern.
In Super Mario Bros 3 you forgot about a undefeatable enemy that looks like a Waffle and spins and spins that by far is the most annoying enemy in that game. And in Super Mario 64 the most annoying enemies are those two undefeatable enemies those small black balls that spit fire at you and those other small black balls that spin and spin and zap you.
The Deep Cheep from New Super Mario Bros. DS isn't exactly unique. It's very much based on Super Mario World's Rip Van Fish, which sleeps until Mario approaches, and then chases him.
I have to go with the flying cheep cheeps in SMB as the most annoying LoL Smb2 those birds flying directly at you I believe in level 4-2. Sorry I don't know their names. SMB3 THE sledgehammer bros were my most hated. I enjoyed the video just sharing mine most hateds lol
Shadow Luigi is cowardly in Bowser’s Fury but Shadow Mario and many of the levels involving them in Super Mario 3D Land can be annoying in their own right.
You forgot Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island: The most annoying enemy probably in all the games is those bandits to knock baby Mario off the Yoshi Mine for Super Mario Bros 3…. The big fish that can swallow Mario whole. Big Bertha or Boss Bass. I call him brace cap. Also those invincible black nipper plants Super Mario Bros 2 Youll ask me Why bother play the game. Those spark things. But they aren't in World 4.
NSMB for the DS had a lot of annoying enemies, especially paired with other obstacles or enemies. Here's some that weren't mentioned: -Blooper Nany -Buzzy Beetle (you know the level) -Cheep Chomp -Crowber (you know the level) -Fire Snake -Kob-omb (paired with the lava meteors and the breakable platform) -Scuttlebug
Thwomp is not the most annoying enemy in SMB3....Lakitu is. Also wtf are you doing bro you are supposed to jump everytime Sledge Bros land on the ground. Jump towards them lol.
I am more convinced that The Super Mario Series is just a series of LSD Trips Mario keeps having when he pops a few hits under his tongue....or Magic Mushrooms but they kind of suck in comparison to LSD's potency lol.
I’m honestly shocked not to see Phanto from SMB2 and Boss Bass from SMB3. They were nightmare fuel both game-wise and for the general design and concept
For Super Mario World, I've always found Magikoopa particularly annoying. He always respawns after you've killed him and it's made worse because you need him to remove blocks in parts of his levels if you haven't got a cape
For real. It just wastes my time and it is hard to keep a cape in Larry’s Castle because of all the lava bubbles and ball and chains and having to stay on the snake blocks.
In Super Mario Bros 3, boss bass should have been in it because it eats you in one bite, killing you instantly regardless of power up. I have lost hundreds of lives because of this enemy.
In NSMBDS it's this weird Blooper with babies. They take too much space, have unpredictable patterns and eat their own children for some kind of rainbow move. As if Bloopers weren't annoying enough in their normal form...
It's called a Blooper Nanny.

I remember those, getting the star coins in that level gave me severe ptsd.

it’s way more annoying than the angry sun

I'm surprised it never got mentioned.
I think, you missed the Porkupuffer/big bertha. The fish, that kills you in one hit.
0:09 Porcupuffer is briefly seen here
Lakitu was the biggest pain in the ass for me along with the Bloopers
Cheep Chomps would always stress me out so much
Also Boss Bass in Mario bros 3 in water levels that enemy one hits you by eating you not matter what it always one hit you
The shark from SML2. Always caught me on surprise, and it's such a big sprite in such a tiny underwater space.
In super mario bros 2 I thought the creaters were early shy guys
The flying masks were the most annoying/terrifying enemies in SMB2.
Mario 64 should've been the black ball that shoots fire
Oh The Flame chomp your talking about and also the electric ball that moves around pretty fast

When I played Mario 3 as a kid the evil sun was by far the most annoying enemy haha, I used to hate the levels he popped up in 🤣
He only popped up in two levels.
When I first played through Super Mario Bros. 3, the big bass was always my mortal enemy. I would always have trouble beating the level, no matter what power up I had
Watching this video kinda makes me feel like this guy doesn’t like moving or homing enemies but I’d say hammer bros are pretty annoying
@3:54 he's just standing there
Another annoying enemy for me in New Super Mario Bros 2 is the purple fish that chases after you. It's a lot like the other homing enemies.
OH MY GOD YES!!
You didn't mention the Amazing Flying Hammer Bros from Super Mario World, and these are the most annoying enemies from that games!
Oh yeah this Hammer bros that standing on the flying blocks throws the hammers everywhere and you can kill it by hitting under it and then stand on it kinda like Hammer bro and Lakitu combined

ive always wondered why my all stars version of mario 3 is a lower quality color and texture than this videos. does anyone have any ideas why
I'm not exactly sure why, but it might be to do with the system you're playing it on.
I personally find Boss Bass to be the most annoying enemy in Super Mario Bros 3. since he can swallow you even when you're powered up and he respawns almost right away whenever you kill him.

For me, the most annoying Mario enemy is the podoboo, which is also called the lava bubble.
In my opinion hammer bros are the most annoying in every game that has them because they're like impossible to dodge
Personally I find some of those to be okay, but one that always bothers me is dry bones. They often reside on narrow platforms, can't be killed, and sometimes just outright switch directions after they're getting stomped on, which is not an easy to anticipate pattern.
I've always hated Kuromame (fire spitter) and Amps from SM64; it's no surprise that kaizo romhacks have an addiction to them.
In Super Mario Bros 3 you forgot about a undefeatable enemy that looks like a Waffle and spins and spins that by far is the most annoying enemy in that game.
