That looks beautiful! My brother have been trying to make one of our own, but the resin hardens so fast and the mat is deformed in places. Do you have any suggestions? Also what did you use to fill in the cracks, it completes the look.
So ein wunderschönes Schachbrett hätte ich gerne. Mein einer Sohn spielt gerne mit mir auf einem normalen Schachbrett Schach. Bei diesem hätte man noch was zu gucken und es würde länger dauern wegen dem betrachten 😅 ein Kompliment an den Macher.

oh heck I need to have a go at this make. My only issue is demoulding those darned chess pieces. I keep snapping the heads off lol
You can also use a release agent before pouring the casting material, This helps the pieces come out more easily😉
