Perfect job, can you specify the overall resin's quantity for the chessboard and the overall quantity of epoxy resin for chess pieces? I've got the molds thank you so much
Thank you, I don't exactly know the precise amounts, as I was pouring other things that day too. But, looking at the video, I would approximate 4-5 ounces of resin for the pieces, and for the first squares on the board, another 4-5 ounces. For the rest of the board, when the first squares are cured, I think about 7-8 ounces of resin. I hope that helps!
Those are mistakes I made. Didn’t fill the pieces completely. And for the board , didn’t wait for one color to set before adding the other. And got all mixed up. Had to watch other videos and calmly and patiently wait for one color to cure before adding the other. Took my about a week to finish but there I have it. Congrats on a beautiful project
You did a great job with your board and pieces. I like how you added character with the marble effects. That’s exactly what I want to do.
Thank you, I'm so glad it was helpful😊🙏
These are so cool!! I love the blue/black ones! Great job! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, Andi! The dark ones came out better, I agree. So glad you liked it 😊♥

Thank you, Julia! Cheers♥
How long will these chess pieces last? Can you tell?
They are basically pieces of resin/plastic, so they will last for a good long time.
Nice 🙂
Thanks! 😋
Spraying 99% alcohol into the molds for the pieces is going to let the resin flow into the difficult areas
Thank you for the advice!
