Your channel is the most organized and educational channel out there. Its definitely apparent that u put a lot of thought and time into your work. We appreciate you!!
I swear this is the BEST hair channel on UA-cam! It's gives you everything you need to know and more. This young lady should have millions of subscribers she is AWESOME!!!
Same here. I’ve already seen this video before. But I decided to rewatch it today. And... I wasn’t ready! @Greenbeauty, you’re sooo beautiful... #inspiration
This is why my Bahamian mom and grandmom always said for skin, scalp and hair issues, take a dip in the ocean. 😂 The Caribbean sea is quite clear and clean, so. 😊 Whenever I go and swim, I scrub my scalp and make sure to stay in the water at least 30 mins. My locs always are so shiny and lightweight afterwards
I never got to go to the Caribbean as an adult, but lived in Hawaii for a few years. My never hair never felt so soft as after getting in the ocean there. Next softest was in a place with soft water (filtered tap water system).
You are sooo right about girls promoting hair care products only to turn around and say it damaged their hair. That’s why now I’m waiting a while before I jump on a trend. Great video!
I don't understand how you aren't more popular! Your videos are sophisticated and organized. I've watched all your videos and I want more because I'm addicted to them! You're so smart and you make it simple for the viewers even though the concept is super difficult. Can't wait to further get my knowledge on :-) ♡
I’m a fan. I’m never ready for the content of this channel, it’s so educational. I feel like graduating in hair studies! Thank you for showing SCIENCE and BLACK HAIR are amazing.
I've been using baking soda on my hair for approximately a year now; I use it in my black soap shampoo that I make and I use in my black soap facial scrub. To the black soap and baking soda I add rose water, witch hazel and ACV "occasionally" along with honey, glycerin and e-oil all have great cleansing and moisturizing properties. Overall it slightly dried out my bleached hair but I cut those already damaged ends and now my one year new growth is thick and dense. I use a direct scalp cleanse with baking soda and aloe vera, that cleans my scalp really well then I do a light wash with my shampoo. I do rinse with warm water every or most wash days. All in all baking soda is a staple in my regimen, it's there to stay I also add it to my body wash with a carrier and essential oil and I add it to my toothpaste with cinnamon ess. oil that's great for oral health. I literally use baking soda from head to toe. When I feel super hero like i add baking soda to my brother's toothpaste or bath wash saving the world one mouth or body at a time.
I absolutely adore how you've introduced the SCIENCE into hair care! THIS is the kind of informative and comprehensive natural health care video I applaud! THANKS 💖💖💖
Ive never seen her face before! Omg and ive been subscribed for about a year. I always thought the girl she used was a model or something! She literally looks like a glowing queen 👸🏾
I come to your channel, because you KNOW what you are talking about....no made up stuff or regurgitation. You have a real education and facts and this shows in your calm your presentation. I appreciate you, you really are in a class of your own.
Ms lady your video saved my hair day. I keep reacting to shampoo so I am doing what you said for now. You are such a blessing for the black hair community, please don't go anywhere. 😊
I really appreciate the amount of research, time and effort you put into your videos! The baking soda vinegar combo is a no for me. Isn't that what we used to make our homemade volcanoes "erupt" in elementary school science class? I understand the importance of cleansing, detoxifying and clarifying the hair and scalp, but don't bentonite and rhassoul clay provide similar benefits and are much safer to use on a regular basis?
Bentonite clay has the same pH as baking soda. It's doing almost the exact same thing to hair. I wouldn't use it alone too often either. However, I don't believe it reacts with acv the way baking soda does, so maybe by mixing it with acv or aloe juice (as is usually recommended) you are able to lower the pH to the safe zone, but still maintain the properties of the bentonite clay. I've requested a bentonite clay series, so hopefully it's coming soon!
Holy shit, a video that actually addresses the chemistry and reactions occurring instead of regurgitating some bs from questionable sources online?! Fantastic content.
Thank you for shedding some light, Sis. Can u do your skin care routine and possibly recommend some products for someone with problematic skin? We're waiting patiently on the video showing chebe powder!!! 👍🙌😇😊
I'm seven years after this video was made & I NEVER heard of ppl putting baking soda on their hair..especially for relaxing. That being said... I've been putting baking soda on my hair for the past few years to clean the scalp very well cz I new that baking soda is an amazing cleaner for everything but in a natural way. I'm so glad I was able to find this channel again cz I was looking for it for a while now...but now I'm making sure I won't lose it by subscribing. :)
Thank you so much for this. The salt water bath and Monistat hair cream have helped me clear up a bad fungal infection in a little over a week. It's such a relief to wash my hair and not feel my scalp drying out, no redness, no soreness and best of all, NO FLAKING. Your channel is a gold mine - I've been recommending it to others for years now - thank you so much!!
This is the first I've seen of your channel. Came across this video and I am so glad! I love how put together and well spoken you are. In depth while keeping the focus quite simple. You're amazing! Thank you♡
I use baking soda and ACV to wash my face once or twice a year. It works well in deep cleaning my skin. Side note: I need to get better litmus strips like yours! Great video as usual! ❤
You are beautiful! Your skin is beautiful! The sound of your voice is soothing and intelligent. As a cosmetologist for over 25 years and a beauty consultant, I really appreciate the research and science in your videos. Keep up the great work young lady
I love the way you explained this process and how you broke this down scientifically. I've seen many videos on how to grow my hair and stop my hair loss due to androgenic alopecia, but your videos are the best by far. Thanks for your efforts and sharing.
Yes it works and cleans so well...My hair was squeaky clean after the Baking Soda..then after the vinegar and water mixture it was like a conditioner leaves it soft...because the cuticles were relaxed.
Thanks! I’ve been watching your videos for almost a year and really appreciate the science behind your explanations. I’ve been doing the ACV rinses and notice a difference, Can you do some videos for us women going through menopause and experiencing hair loss? Like how to stop and prevent it or at least slow it down. Thanks and keep up the great work!
I personally used it on first wash with my shampoo I only wash my scalp. Then rehash depending on how much shampoo I need to lathering, I rehash again or don't. Then I rinse with white 5° some times. Only do this once a month, and rinse with vinegar every other month, before if needed. Like in the summer time. Like every 2-3 weeks and once a month the vinegar rinse.
I absolutely love your channel. It is really different from other hair youtubers gurus, so relaxing, informative and very very decomplexing. You are really a good teacher, who pushes me further and encourages me to learn more about my hair !
Listen to her, girls 👆 I started the NoPoo Method 3 months ago and I only used 1 teaspoon of baking soda in 4 cups of water, followed by an ACV rinse. At first, it was perfect, my hair seemed to be healthier than ever and I was happy that I found something to replace shampoos with. After 3 months, however, my scalp became so itchy I could barely stand it, and my hair lost its natural curls (2b-2c) and became frizzy and almost straight. Now I'm trying the WO method, hope it will be what I'm looking for. Hope this helps, and thank you sweetheart for opening our eyes 💜💜💜
I almost didn’t want to write this because they are now at 444 but your videos are too great dir me not to say something. Lol thanks for looking out for our people! I love your delivery of the information. I feel like I’ve learned soooooouullll much and eye feel super empowered and confident with my husband and eye hair journey! Thank you queen 🙏🏾🙏🏾✊🏿✊🏿🖤🖤
Most informative, I am most happy that I found this video. i a alopecia that is just beginning and I don't want to do anything that may intensify further damage to my hair follicles. Right now I am just starting with rice water once a week.
Very informational and useful video as always. Please do a video about your hair regimen - daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Your hair looks beautiful and healthy. Thank you.
Thank U queen for such an amazing and informative video ❤️💛💚 I have been using the baking soda for scalp anden acv&tea tree oil for rinse for aboot 10years, I had dred locks for 8years (my father&grandfather crossed over couple years ago a week apart so I offered my hair back to the U n I verse, aho all my relations) which is why I started this method. Anden now that my hair has grown oot again I have been using same method an my hair is amazingly healthy, thick, beautiful anden still growing strong at 46 years of age. I would say I wash my hair with this rinse every other month depending. I don’t use any type of store bought shampoos or conditioners an prolly neva will again! Mucho corazon queen ❤️💛💚 thank U for Ur gifts to the U n I verse we are blessed 💚💛❤️
you are doing a wonderful job. a great service to all us trying to care for our hair. thanks so much for the time and effort you put into bringing us accurate and valuable information. love and light sista💚💛❤👍
Please do some hair tutorials! I love your hair in this video, and would love to see how you take care of your hair. I know you've done that in the past, but would love to see your current hair regimen, styling tips, protective styles, etc. Thank you!
ROSEPEACE JOSEPH NDAYANSE isn’t it amazing!!! She is sitting there looking like a milk chocolate babydoll!!!! Please tell us your secrets!!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hello, Thank you so much for your video. I used to do baking soda and conditioner co-washes all the time and they were really great at getting rid of the dirt and buildup and also made my hair the softest it has has ever been. I had to quit when my hair started to feel brittle and now I use bentonite clay mixed with acv, oil, honey, and commercial conditioner instead. It would be great if you would do a bentonite clay series because I mix my own clay. Before I use the clay I use diluted acv as a scalp rinse (because I have really hard water and am trying to remove buildup), then commercial shampoo diluted with water, then I use the clay as a second cleanser that is also conditioning. I have been trying to figure out if I should move my acv rinse to after the clay but my low porosity hair is so stubborn that I am afraid I would tighten my cuticles too much. But I also cannot tell if I am leaving my cuticles too relaxed after washing at this point. It would be great to learn more about the science of clay washes and hair cuticles so I can get and keep as much moisture in my hair as possible.
Your hair and skin are flawless, how you found a way to make natural mango butter. I'm not sure it's possible outside of a factory or something. I have the mango kernels but not sure what to do
You have the best video and the most instructive video out, why haven't you hit 1million subscribers! You are doing fantastic job and you are very knowledgeable about your craft.

I think clays only detox and cleanse hair. I don't think they clarify.

I love your channel! Thank you for your knowledge and sharing what you know with all of us. You are absolutely beautiful. Many blessings your way!
