This was fascinating. I studied Mandarin and this was really different from Mandarin.
I wish I could find videos like this in Taishanese, I’ve looked for information and there’s hardly any about Taishanese. 😢
Amazing thank you sooooo much! New subscriber 😊 My husband’s parents are from Hong Kong and speak Cantonese so I’m really motivated to learn!!
I'm in the same boat with my future in laws!!
Can you please do a video on what is all the writing strokes of cantonese writing? my daughter loves your videos!
Thank you, truly, for your work. It's helping me learn to recognize tones as well. Just wanted to affirm your effort is appreciated a lot! Regards
I only remembered the ones I already knew. Its very sad, but I always have to listen to something repeatedly (over and over and over again) before I get it
Haha the same as me!!
So helpful !
Thank you ❤
What I’m looking for! Thank you so much! ❤❤❤
Thank you mam so so much i found your vlog. I really have problem in my work due to language barrier.
Very good thank you so much
Is there any more videos to continue this series?
These are mostly just vocab, I'd like to see a video that has full sentences like "I went to the theatre yesterday" "Jacob's dog is brown" "Please open the window" stuff like that
Excellent ❤
Thanks for making this video. I hope you can make more video exactly like this. Vocabulary 1-300.
I love this video and is difficult to see like this quality. Thanks so much and blessings be on you 🙏.

This is great! I learned Cantonese 25 years ago and haven’t been able to keep it up. This is exactly the refresher I’ve been looking for!🙏❤ I’m looking forward to exploring more of your videos!😃
Well done
This is a great video! I think it would be helpful if the Chinese appears at the beginning at the same time as the English text, so we can have time to read before saying it along with the voice (example, #82). In any case, thank you for making the video, it's very helpful =)
Great idea! We will try to do that in the next video. You can also download the free transcript at inspirlang.com/video/ so that you can look at the phrases ahead of time :).
@@InspirLang hey that's awesome, thank you!
Thanks for this video. Plz tell me the fontstyle, I really like that.
I like this video so much. If you don't mind, I would like to ask your permission to share this video to the other website in China for the embarrassing reason that UA-cam is blocked fromac cessing in China. Of course, I will give sources of the original website. Thank you very much.
Can someone explain why there number like 5, 2 after the words?
Yes, The numbers mean the accent of the word. In Cantonese there are 6 accents, the first 3 are high sounds (or you have to maintain vibration), while the rest are low tones.
It's a simple answer to your answer, sorry if I'm not too clear! I am studying Mandarin and Cantonese, I recommend learning about accents in Mandarin so that you become familiar with the tones :))
