I can’t believe you are in Premont. Wow, I lived there for several years. Wow, you are definitely in my area. Free parking at the flying J in Falfurias.
I do put my outside shoes in a outside bin by the door in a milk crate. (Doesn’t take up the entire bin.). My inside shoes are left on a rug right under the steps that rolls and fits on top of the crate for travel.I also have a rechargeable fan to run if my shoes need airing out. While traveling I leave my outside shoes on the bottom step going out of the bus. Ps. I ALWAYS have my Cajun Reeboks (white rubber boots) as a backup for EVERYTHING. 😛 I 💗💗💗 your family!
Hi guys! Recently found your channel. Have fun in South Padre! We went there a long time ago and are looking to head back to camp on the beach next year.
Hey y'all, we are Shion and Matthew and just recently found your channel! We are currently in Michigan and it has been raining here for 7 days straight or so and last night we experienced our first tornado warning in our RV and had to go seek shelter in the bath house! 😱 Quite the experience, LOL! We hope to get to South Padre Island someday! We love the beach! 😎
Glad you found us! Yeah, the rain was expected but the tornado warning was not. We didn’t really have any shelter options-the laundry area was just a converted shed on cinderblocks. Padre would be quite the long haul for you guys!
@@WilderAdventures From Michigan it would be a very long haul, lol! We plan on coming back to the south for Christmas time so we will see if Padre will make the list this year. We just started full-time RV life in March, so we have so much to see and do! :-)
I really admire people like yourselves who opted for a alternative lifestyle. I think it’s lovely how you got out of the matrix escaped the 9 till 5 Monday to Friday, boring, soulless corporate world, to go home to a mortgaged owned home only to end up paying double what you brought the house for thanks too the financial banking system that is there too make money off the poor. Renting or mortgage until you pay that debt off after 25 years it’s never your home anyhow. Then if a something bad happens, a loved one falls sick and you haven’t got good health insurance you end up selling your home too pay life saving treatment end up living in a trailer anyhow. How millions of us ended up trapped in that system I’ll never know? But it’s the norm now. Leave college, get a job, get a mortgage a job, then spend the next 25/30 years indebted too the bank a slave too the system. Or do what you guys have done. Total freedom, I know what I’d prefer. Keep it going guys, you’ve got the right idea🙂👍🏻
We use a plastic bucket/tub at the door for shoes and dog leashes. We arrived in Florida after driving through Tropical Storm Claudette. Wishing we did NOT have a long travel trailer for travels like this.. wind gusts were horrible and getting gas was difficult, I 65 through Alabama even the truck stops did not work for us because the "car" side was packed! We are riding out the rain and thought I would recoup my sunburn and see what Wilder Adventures were up to! TFS !
Safe travels to you all. We had family visiting the Alabama coast who cut their trip short to hit the road as Claudette was coming together. Hopefully when the rain clears you get some fun in the sun!
Anyone have shoe storage tips for Paige?
