The very talented G.Wood sent me some song lyrics and demo tape. I chopped up his guitar and recycled it in this piece before layering in drums (Cymatics), keyboards, and electric guitar. I wanted to use the new Fixed Lanes feature in Reaper, and I thought it was a good opportunity to do some harmonizations. The electric guitar is processed through Tukan Studios' excellent Guitar Station S2, and again, a good playground for using Fixed Lanes. Stock keyboard out of Numa Player. I can still hear G's magical acoustic strumming, can you? As an afterthought I thought to drop in Cymatics' new Memory plugin, but it had too much warble and I didnt' want to spend the time to find a better setting.
