Great job. Looking forward to next week’s “ new system “. You’re completely gracious with your armchair critics. Props
lol thanks brother 👊
Yoooo Liggy Liggy Landberg!!! After all these YEARS of watchig it never dawned on me how simple it was to actually have the veining patterns match bye keeping the off cuts & letting them🤯🤯🤯 It's crazy how individually everyone's mind works. Hoping all is well Bud, Dirty Jersey out!!!
Mr Landberg. Please could you do a demo video of how you would boar out a bathroom area. But with concrete/ plastered walls.
I'm from the UK . Most dwellings are like this and walls are usually buckled beyond belief.
Would be interesting to see how you'd go about it.
Just a thought.
Keel up the fab content 🖐🍻
Yes sir will do!
Just my curiosity. Cheers pal 🖐🖐
dang gorgeous sensei! the colors work together looks like a really high end hotel shower style. nice!
Thanks man 👊
Great videos thanks
Great video. The music score is kick ass
Thanks man!
It's so similar to schluter that the schluter niche is compatible
yup
Lots of work? Do you need tilers?
Nicely done. I'm not a huge fan of the schluetter system. There is too much wallpaper hanging before tiling and I don't like the build up in the corners especially with smaller tiles. That said, very nice job and I'm sure the homeowners are happy with the results. It's always nice to see other professionals in the trade do their work.
What do you use?
Appreciate it brother, tile on! 👊
I build a lot of sand and cement bases with a liner, on the walls I use a lot of goboard. For zero entry I prefer the Wedi system over the Schluetter. Both work just fine one is just easier for me to install. @@MookieMan1
Go Beeg!
Go Red! 👊
Very nice as per usual. Question is there a method tile manufacturer use for packaging the tiles so the veining lines up? To clarify if you take a box and lay top tile on floor then stack next tile then next tile etc does that give you a run of matching veins? I didn’t know if there is an industry standard for such a thing to help us set up walls and floors without having to unbox every piece and play Tetris on the floor?
Thanks in advance glad your back
We basically play Tetris like you say. We usually have the client purchase a box or two more than we need and we try our best to line up veins/movement. We never can get it perfect.
Thank you just didn’t know if there was some secret industry standard that manufacturers use to package the boxes and aide the installer.
Where can I get one of those LX tracing tools 😊
The Pica marking tool?
What are the main differences in this system vs Schluter?
Board and foam is more rigid with Profilitcec and you need to create your own niches with the board vs prefab schluter niches. Other than that, they are nearly identical.
Where can one get the profilitec system ?
Click on the link I added in the video description. Contractors Direct has these kits, you won't be disappointed!
Was there a lot number issue with the tile or is it just the lighting? The upper tile seem much darker?
Lighting forsure you can tell
It’s the lighting. At first I thought ceiling was pitched lol
Lighting was terrible in this shower/bathroom and lots of shadows in the film. I tried my best to adjust during editing..
Hi
your links to the tool in Amazon are not available the page is empty.
Thanks for the heads up! All fixed
Are projects slowing down for you?
Just a little yes
man that ceiling ran out on you a bit eh?
Good eye, on one side yes. 👊
Way to much skim time on the niche to hand set each pebble. Still not pouring your own pan? Also it's a water management system not sealed! Thinset isn't a waterproofing! Still enjoy your videos. Just don't miss lead the public that watches your videos! KOKO!
I don’t think he or you are the worlds best out there but come on, let’s be real and not be a pedant.
1. You have no idea of the working time or pot life of the thinset he used
2. How do you know how long it took him to hand set the pebbles?
3. This isn’t a submarine - the thinset is water resistant and will only weep small amounts if fully submerged for an extended period. Not typical shower use.
Hand setting cut flat river rock goes faster than you think. Schluter, Laticrete and Profilitec and called seal systems and I prefer shower trays, but install drypacks all the time like this which was the shower before this video ua-cam.com/video/Ayqidlk-Vl8/v-deo.html Do appreciate the feedback 👊👊
