This Man is such a phenomenol artist and perfectionist that he is one of the VERY FEW instances I'd be willing to pay noticeably MORE for the job being done.
thank you my man!
Hands down, one of the best tile installers I've seen over 45 years in the business!
I'd like to see him key in the substrate though, cuz it's not in this video..and u can tell because, wen it's done , there will always be a portion that looks "pained" with thinset....above the row, wen it's not done, u can tell, cuz it's just trowel or rake marks, keying in is a 1 of 3 step process on how to install tile correctly, sometimes 4 steps.keying in makes a world of difference......you wouldn't paint your corvette with no primer, right? No u wouldn't, so don't skip steps or I'm gna call ppl out.
@@BonBon770 You set tile for a living?
@@themilkman271 yes...u?
@@BonBon770 I do.
@@themilkman271 that's awesome man! Well you have a good day.
There are very few people that would perform this quality work. It is a joy to watch a true professional. Always using the latest tools and keeping ahead. Thanks
Thank you very much!
As a tradesman, I freaking love your channel! Keep in going man!
Square Schluter profile on the lft is such a winner
Awesome work! As usual. Thanks for the video
Choice of tile and design looks well thought out. Great work as always man!
Looks awesome!
Beautiful work as always.
I'm a tile setter apprentice after 21 years in the military. I love it! Your channel has been a great resource. Thanks so much ! ! !
Yes sir, thanks for your service! Takes time and patience, go get it! 👊
Great job guys. Awesome.
Awesome tile and installation!👍👍
BEAUTIFUL!! a peice of blue inside that niche would had looked killa🙌👍great job buddy
Lamberg is the bomb on any install . What a great guy and company to forward such great vids .
Is there a forward link or video for vibrate/ suction tools in said video . I’m getting into larger formats so interested. Ty
Must admit to loving large format tiles too. And the waterfall effect was kinda cool.
looks really good!
Beautiful deco.
Awesome work man
You have the best show ever
Good job. Here in South Africa the trend is large format tiles, 1.2 x 2.8m - 1.6 x 3.2m. It's been a challenge but after 4 years of practice I'm beginning to enjoy fixing them.
Such a impact with the big tile.
Very elegant.
Beautiful!
Nice spacers!
Damn good work!
top notch🔥🔥
Beautiful work as always! Please do a review on your van 👍🏻
Coming soon!
You guys do top notch work, very meticulous as well! I'm a tile installer and when you deal with walls that are out of plumb that meet up with drywall, what do you do. Do you plumb up the tile wall even though it will stick out past the finished drywall. Keep up the great work!
Usted es mejor muchas felicidades
you are good!
The best ever
Nice
Fkin cleannnnn
Wow, look so nice. Just wonder what is size of spacer you used?
Came out looking nice Great work! Think I’ll do the same including 60”x24” niche. Due to pan being 60x30 to create extra elbow space I’ll frame out another 2” off back wall to be able kurf out that 2” plus another 2.5” from existing 2x4 wall between bathrooms creating 4.5” deep niche along with 34” from glass to back of niche. Then can fit in 1” insulation for noise behind niche with R13 rest of wall dampening sound when in adjoining bathroom . Btw any advice building kneewall onto Dreamline curb? It’s 2.5” wide so now plan to run a 2x6 as endcap at buttress with another 2x4 both on edge through subfloor screwed into a joist for support . Then instead using foam board can frame with 2x3s (+ 1.5” and durarock&drywall making for overall 5” kneewall.
Would you lay wall into metal channel screwed into studs and end wall or just nail wall solid into them?
Awesome job as always sir. Please keep the videos coming. We appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us. “FLIP”
Bing BANG BOOM Pay Me suckas!!! Quick & easy work for a Master like you guys!!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!! Looking fantastic guys!!!!!
Yes sir! 👊👊👊
Great video. You should do videos on the plumbing rough-in and trim out, or do you sub that out? I really struggled recently putting in a similar hand sprayer on an adjustable bar and getting the brass nipple length correct so the cover plate thingy screws down flush to the tile.
I agree completely. Would love to see some how-tos on that. I have a feeling he'd get some 'flack' from the community for not being a plumber and teaching us plumbing...maybe he doesnt want to deal with that headache... maybe?
🐐
How do you get away with putting so much mortar on the back of the tile and still have it all collapse down on the wall trowel lines, and line up to the edge of the trim without sticking out proud? I sometimes struggle to get my simple back-buttered tiles to mash down to line up to the edge of the Schluter trim, even when I use a 1/2"thick Schluter trim. I find the common 3/8" schluter trims in the stores are useless to get a matchup to my tiles
So how many ounces of grout did you need? Them's some big tile, and a perfect install as always. Thanks for the sander/vibrator idea.
We almost bought those tiles. I got scared of the large size. But then again the amounts of cuts needed normally is intense. And you only have a few edges to line up or level.
Awesome install, where are you located?
Nice tools. Good job. I'm not big fan lage tiles.
You want to have a go at what we're presently doing.....3m x 1m2 tiles to showers, bathrooms, a big kitchen, pool and sauna areas on walls and floors, in a £30m newbuild house. The niches on their own are a challenge. A right pain in the arse to install. We have 2mm tolerance on the cutting top and bottom and very little tolerance around pipes and sockets. Base clips are an absolute must, as is a vibrating pad. Hard and high pressure work seeing as there's only one spare tile per area and the tiles cost 600 quid a pop. Although we're earning top money and the work is interesting I'd rather be doing 6 inch whites!!!
Come to Canada and do my washrooms please. I got some large 24x48 and 32x63 tiles, have a really cool plan and just hard to find decent tile people around here :(
I feel like the water tile would have looed better with the bottom piece on top. Looks like the colors would line up better.
Go Berg!
I laid a few of those beautiful sky blue tiles on a small pool bathroom floor.
Beautiful work,
As always!
I am starting a shower with 2x4 ft tiles with 9 ft ceilings tomorrow. How would u lay it out ? I have a bench on the back side about 18 inches high. I'm thinking or making my full tiles start there so I have decent piece on top and bottom instead of an odd all size on top , what's ur thinking ?
Fuking awesome
👊👊👊
Hope everything is ok in LT-TV land. Have not seen any new vids in a month. I will think that is just a well deserved summer vacation time. 👊
Yup, had to get away from social media and summer vacations with family. New video up now and I have lots to come!
really nice work and very clean. im not saying this about this shower in particular and it has to do with layout. every job is obviously different but talking about layout at the top and bottom of showers. some showers i do i might split top and bottom but not many, if i couldnt start a full from top or bottom and i had to split the cuts , i dont like the look , as i always feel like the top cuts should be a little bigger than bottom cuts. now some showers have a window or a knee wall and that may dictate cuts more precisely but if you only had to worry about the top or bottom and could not use a full in either, it seems in my eyes more pleasing to use a 15 inch at top and an 11inch at bottom if using a 24x24, and didnt want a full at top or bottom and a 2 inch cut top or bottom. im not sure why my eye sees this but to me it just seems more pleasing to have the top cut a little bigger than the bottom, even better than equal cuts top and bottom. so when i see thi particular shower video which has a full at the bottom and a much smaller cut at the top, it looks funny to me, more so than if the full tile was at the top and the smaller size cut at the bottom. same with the side return cuts in a niche. lets say the customers wanted a 16in x 24 inch niche and you were using a 12x12 tile (mosiac tiles on niche back) and were using bulnose on side returns of niche, how would you lay that out? perhaps two 8 inch pieces? for some reason i wouldnt center that and think it looks better with a slightly bigger cut at the top than at the bottom, or even a full bulnose at the top and the 4 inch cut at the bottom, but dont like the look of the bigger piece at bottom and smaller cut at the top. anyways perhaps its just my eye or something, personal preference... great job my friend
You should do a tile vibrator for tool Tuesday. I’m looking for one and can’t decide which one.
I've done a few, here are some of the reviews:

Such inviting bathroom. Even with the tub and no shower. Easy to maintain and it will always look clean and crisp. I don’t understand why people would choose mosaic, pennies and pencils while we have LF tiles. Busier looks more expensive and prestigious perhaps although majority of bathrooms are standard 10Kish types and not like some Korean Spa retreats. Either way yet another epic Landberg Tile product. 💪🔥👊
You hit the nail on the head!
What are the purpose of the collars?
How tall was the ceiling in this bathroom?
👏👏👏👏👏
That accent tile is beautiful. Also, I like the quadec trims, especially on the niche! Excellent install!!!
Thanks! 👊
What does a installation of this type cost per ft.?
👑👌🏾👑
👊👊👊
Здравствуйте. Какие маленькие ванные комнаты у вас. Быстрая работа.
That tile is beautiful. How much per square foot? Just the tile itself, the inlay tile
looks like it's Vita Bella Porcelain tile from Floor & Decor. In my area about $6.29 per sqft
Can you put the name of the electri hammer please?
Very nice ... thanks
which tool?
its been a few months now, i have a question. Has the silicone grout caulk maintained adhesion to the acrylic tub?
Yes, never have had a call back
Is that a piece of HDPE that you attach to that vibrator? I watched the review of the vibrator months and months ago when it came out, but I don’t think I’ve seen you using it like this? Brilliant idea
That is an attachment from RTC for the Vibralift
What's the denatured alcohol for ? Is this kinda the same as diluted dish soap and water ? So it's not so messy or sticky ?
Yes it works the same as soapy water
Yup, same idea
Sorry if this sounds dumb, but what does the alcohol do? Your work looks great!
Releasing agent for the silicone ( it’s sticky and messy )
What blade are you running on the dewalt 24000
Dewalt D36000 and that's this blade ua-cam.com/video/HPqjyNWoyHA/v-deo.html
1:08 why did you install with just a little thinset for that massive tile? looks dangerous!
Would you recommend the same tile for a full-shower floor? If not, please offer a suggestion/favorite. Thanks!
Use honed. Gloss will make you slip.
He's correct, texture is necessary.
Thanks to both of you!
What spacers did you use and over The silicone you spray with?
I used AcuFloor tile leveling system and sprayed denatured alcohol.
@@LandbergTileTV i was looking for distance more sorry for error
Awesome skills. Why don’t you use a wet saw?
Much quicker and easier with a manual cutter.
Montolit cutter or go home lol
Which vibrator thing is that? I just installed the same tile and used a mallet to pound on it. I didnt like the mallet tech
I reviewed the tool here: ua-cam.com/video/Cj6r0Kn2fSs/v-deo.html
@@LandbergTileTV Thank you
I don't like the silicone in the grout joint. Y not keep it tighter with no joint and silicone that? I feel like that silicone is going to give way fairly quickly.
Those tiles aren’t cheap. Do you pad the budget in case you break one or two? That leg to the right of the niche had me nervous.
Yup! Always have one or two for backup.
Keying in?
yup!
@@LandbergTileTV could you show that next time please
@@BonBon770 will do 👌
@@LandbergTileTV thanx
Why don’t you match the patterns up?
What is that tool on 1:30
Vibralift, I reviewed it here ua-cam.com/video/Cj6r0Kn2fSs/v-deo.html
I was going to ask the same thing.
Yo Landberg tile, and what about that big suction cup at 1:12 . Can you post the link for that one too. Thanks
Smoking Hot!!!!!
Creat channel. Should have more subs? Hopefully their late to the party🎉
Beautiful , but not my esthetic.
Using a bubble/spirit level while a laser level beams in from the background....unused. Hillaryous!!! [FYI. , no bubble level has a significant level of fidelity, esp. over long distances. 40+ yrs of experience talking]
