Thank you so much I get alot of gear and ideas from you. Being a tone chaser myself. Your tone videos can you do pantera the great southern trendkill? Specifically floods solo. My favorite dime tone ever. Love man thanks for the awesome sauce.
Hey Ola, glad you like your small gifts. It was a pleasure to put that together with all the guys. Question: Any changes for you/your channel with the updated YT regulations and copyright stuff, or something to adapt with the new membership possibilities.
No...you are not stupid!! You are a man who has big balls and a great attitude, I can't wait till I buy another guitar... because the next one will definitely be one of yours. Keep up the great work and we will keep watching as always, peace brother from Australia.
Hola Ola, congrats on FAQ 100! You should definitely get a P.O. box so you can make the Ola unboxing shit a permanent series. Something oddly satisfying about watching you unbox stuff. Okay love u bye
Big 100!!! Congrats and hope you do at least another 100! Also, yes, Rick Graham is a freak of nature, chock full of awesomeness. Between him and Paul Gilbert so many people get shred lessons, so they deserve so much credit. And Merrow is also my favourite guiarist/songwriter. His music is perfect in my opinion. Excellent dark, sinister, moving, melodic. Can't say enough. But then there is the mighty Ola. Can't leave that out. Best content for guitarist entertainment plus more. Vlog genius with a diversified portfolio of content. Keep it up!!!
hi ola, i'm in a situation where i may be in 2 different metal bands and was wondering how you sort writing material and songs between bands, since you are in the haunted and feared. what makes a song/riff a haunted song/riff and vice versa. thanks heaps!
Came into this channel some weeks ago and I absolutely love it, even if I'm a bass player. I quitted gigs and bands almost 8 years ago due to lack of time, but never stopped completely to play the bass. You gave me the inspiration to start thinking to go back in the business again! Wonder if there's a youtube channel like your but about the bass
I second this. A mean fivestring, in mean colors, with Fishman Fluence Bass pickups and a Darkglass preamp, please...? Ah, for being so fucking creative, I'll take two of them as salary.
Hi Ola, would you please try the MXR Dime Distortion? The UA-cam comment section on other videos of it is split into half: one half says it’s shit and the other half likes it. I know you will make it sound great. Greetings from Czech republic 🤘
Congrats to episode 100! Question for 101: Do you listen to Marty Friedman much outside of his Megadeth work? Wall of Sound has some pretty good chuggin riffs.
Hay Ola I have been absolutely loving the new soilwork and thy art is murder albums. Have you heard these yet? Australia thanks you for you videos btw.
Hi Ola! When do you think a beginner guitarist should upgrade to an more expensive guitar and wich problems you could avoid when buying it? Cheers from Austria!
Have you heard of the Finnish band Heavisaurus? They are a heavy metal band for kids. They dress up as dinosaurs, play metal and sing about kid stuff. Most of their songs are in Finnish but I think some are in Swedish. I don’t understand any of the lyrics but the songs are good.
So many awesome things have happened since I first discovered your channel with your JVM demo back in 2010. Congrats Ola, you deserve all your successes!
Ola, I just found your channel around two months ago but you’ve quickly become one of my favorite channels to watch, happy I could be here for this milestone. I always come away from your videos in a good mood, keep it up and God bless.
My A2.7 blood red just arrived today and I honestly can say it is one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen I picked it up for the 1st time everything was so comfortable I plugged it in everything played so well thank you Ola very much thank you for your content thank you for my new guitar thank you from the bottom my heart sir I could not be happier
MOTU really is, by far, my most played album. It's even knocked the new Dream Theater down to 2nd place. It's GREAT in the car on the way to or from my job. Would LOVE to see a 2nd solo album !! Congrats on 100 FAQ's !!
Awesome FAQ BrOla !!! I have a question for your next FAQ, did you listen to an amazing Swedish band called Orbit Culture ? If you didn't I think you would like it, they sound like Metallica, Meshuggah and Gojira had a baby and the singer sounds just like Mikeal from Opeth when he growls and exactly like James Hetfield when he sings the clean parts :D
Congratulations Ola 👌 whilst I have subscribed for years and never had a question answered as I’m sure many others haven’t either, I couldn’t care less. Your knowledge and your channel has helped me a lot through these years to continue forward in every aspect of heavy music so thank you and all the best, let’s get to FAQ 200
Hey Ola, congrats on FAQ #100! Nice of you to give us a glimpse into your family. How do they (apart from your wife, of course) view your youtube, music and Solar guitars efforts? I mean, I had my share of "you should've grown by now", but from what we've seen, they're supre cool with it. Keep up the awesome work and here's to another 100+ FAQs!
the part about "believing in your own material" and hoping the initial feeling sticks i think is something important for DIY musicians to hear bc we spend so much time on producing our own material playing it back over and over again that it's hard to tell if our stuff is even good or not by the time we're done with it it's kind of good to hear a pro saying that sort of thing i guess
You showing Stockholm while answering questions was really cool, I'd love to see you do a tour of your favorite places in the city. I was there last Friday and I totally loved it. Ps. Congrats on the 100th FAQ, you are awesome!
Appreciate ya Ola . You and Kieth are my favorites . Oh and Rebea and Pete too. Lol love all you guys man. I'm listening to youtube musicians more than any mainstream music. Really appreciate the sharing .
Congratulations on FAQ 100. Looking forward to the future of Solar Guitars and the UA-cam channel along with any future musical releases as a solo artist or with Feared or the Haunted. Lots of love and see you on Discord. Keep kicking ass.
I remember seeing Six Feet Under years ago in Cleveland when I first started going to metal shows and I thought to myself that guitar player is fucking awesome. Little did I know years later i'd be watching your videos. Fuck Yeah!
Love you my dude! I remember back in the day with the amp demos. always were my go to youtube channel back in the day and still are, really happy to see you have the success you achieved and i know it will only grow! cheers!
Hey, thank YOU, Mr the Swede! Cheers for cracking the ton! You definitely deserve all the love and support and stuff, so keep doing the thing...you inspirational bastard! P. S. Have you considered the possibility of releasing multiscale versions of any of the Solar range?
Congrats on 100 great FAQS. I can say without a doubt you have my favorite UA-cam content out there. You have kept it genuine and entertaining all through the years. All the burps and claps kept me laughing in the hardest times. Thank you for all the great videos and knowledge. Cheers from California. Onto my question for FAQ 101, what newer bands/musicians do YOU think are pushing the boundaries of metal music the most in today's age?
Happy 100, Ola! That was very entertaining. Thanks for what you do. I actually learn things from you and especially like your interviews. Whoever was giving you shit about that can suck it. Keep up the good work!
Hey, Ola. Have you ever considered doing a video where you compare the clean DI signals from different interfaces? A good amped/ processed sound always starts with a clear, articulate DI. Cheers from the US!
Hey Ola! FUCKING SLAYER! I love your channel and your Solar Guitars have some of the best guitar designs I’ve seen! I wanted to know about your thoughts on Testament. They’re my favourite band and I think you should check em out! For you I would recommend The Gathering album, it’s one of my favourites and one of the heaviest of their albums
Congratulations on reaching 100 FAQs, Ola! Question for the next one: What do you think about Northlane's new album "Alien"? Many claim the album is a real game changer for metal. Bloodline, Talking Heads, Eclipse are great for a first listen. Thank you for all your great content!
Congrats Ola! You've come along way since Mel Gibson back in 2010 (probably the funniest thing I have watched on youtube. Looking forward to what your future brings.

You're the bomb, dude.
Love Your Sense of Humour!!!! 😂😂😂😂😝
Congrats Ola! You deserve it! Keep doing what u do, we love it!
Thank you so much I get alot of gear and ideas from you. Being a tone chaser myself. Your tone videos can you do pantera the great southern trendkill? Specifically floods solo. My favorite dime tone ever. Love man thanks for the awesome sauce.
You're my favorite UA-cam guy, too. Big love!
Fanfiction will write itself after this.
This plastered a smile on my face even bigger than when he said you were his favorite.

I'm invoking rule 32.

Second this

Thanks Ola! I need to work on more music for sure!!
your vids are extreeeeemly helpful for anyone who wants to improve his or her solo playing. thanks a lot.
Question for Faq101: do u like Slam Metal? What do u think of the genre? Keep being awesome!
Is your brother Russel Crowe?
Like a mix of him and Rob Chapman
12:35 can confirm, you HAVE to do that if you see a Slayer T-Shirt
Every time. I've even been in my uniform delivering mail and done it haha. It has to happen.
Howdy Ola, whatever happened to Just The Tip? I miss that series.
Maybe just the tip wasn't quite enough
Im legit shocked how strong your solo album is. I knew you were a good metal player but this has some prog rock gems in it. Very talented Ola.
Don't Stop, Ola, KEEP FUCKING CRUSHING IT, DUDE!!!!!!!!!
\m/\m/
Hey Ola, glad you like your small gifts. It was a pleasure to put that together with all the guys.
Question: Any changes for you/your channel with the updated YT regulations and copyright stuff, or something to adapt with the new membership possibilities.
FAQ 101- Grind vs 33 vs Tubescreamer to boost a duel rec.
Been watching you forever thanks for everything
No...you are not stupid!! You are a man who has big balls and a great attitude, I can't wait till I buy another guitar... because the next one will definitely be one of yours. Keep up the great work and we will keep watching as always, peace brother from Australia.
Haha!! That Miku solo just killed me. The humour in this channel is the best.
Hola Ola, congrats on FAQ 100! You should definitely get a P.O. box so you can make the Ola unboxing shit a permanent series. Something oddly satisfying about watching you unbox stuff. Okay love u bye

Likes Surstromming, hates root beer. Clearly this man has lost his marbles.
isnt that the mastersword from zelda? but in the wrong color?
hi ola, i'm in a situation where i may be in 2 different metal bands and was wondering how you sort writing material and songs between bands, since you are in the haunted and feared. what makes a song/riff a haunted song/riff and vice versa.
thanks heaps!
Just play a different tuning for each band, should give your sound a unique twist for each.
Welcome man!
Question for FAQ 101: Solar Bass. Will it happen? Maybe you could name it Polar Bass (as in buddy, not ice) and make it super awesome. K thanks bye.
I second this. A mean fivestring, in mean colors, with Fishman Fluence Bass pickups and a Darkglass preamp, please...?
Ah, for being so fucking creative, I'll take two of them as salary.
Why?
Becuase it's the best series on this goddamn platform, that's why!
This is the earliest I've been to an upload ever, great video
isn't that the sword of zelda? I think you didn't notice it.
Seconded! Marty's solo work is insane and far more interesting than his Megadeth days IMO.
Hay Ola I have been absolutely loving the new soilwork and thy art is murder albums. Have you heard these yet? Australia thanks you for you videos btw.
I love the set up of this video. Switching between opening and tasting/the beautiful scenery.
Hi Ola!
When do you think a beginner guitarist should upgrade to an more expensive guitar and wich problems you could avoid when buying it?

it's kind of good to hear a pro saying that sort of thing i guess
I was happy to hear that too.
For me, the best thing about finishing recording a new song is not having to play it again :)
