Great video/challenge and just shows that people can get started cheaply, or get for their kids to get them started before progressing to better quality gear that is branded 👏🏻
Thanks buddy! 100%, I have a couple more expensive combos but I love to try the cheap ones and catch some fish with them, and most of them are pretty decent to be honest!
dude, my mate hade that same celica back in the day, was so sick driving our that when we were younger. same colour too!
They're really nice cars, I have this for 6 or 7 years not a single issue apart from a coil plug!
Fishing has been tuff here too
Yeah mate quite tough to be honest, but it pays off sometimes! You've been catching some good ones bro!
Great session mate!💪🎣
Yeah man, tough but glad we managed some good ones out 💪😁
Way to keep grinding !!
Yes, sometimes it pays off 😁
Big up temu 🤣
Haha yes mate 💪😁
Well done guys got to keep on casting
Cheers buddy, sometimes it pays off 😁
you can definitely see the difference in colour from there and the ones in Australia
I've seen a few videos where they have darker stripes and fins a bit more red but always assumed was related to water conditions and sunnier day! Here they go from super pale on murky waters or if they're under bridges, to really colourful on clear waters!
Well in bro! that 39cm is a really good perch!💪🏻👀
Thanks bro! Yeah, definitely not an everyday fish for me 😅💪😁
@zombiebitefishing 😂 for me it's 1 or 2 per year 😅
@blankmasterfishing same bro 😅
Got some great stuff on temu
They have some really decent stuff there, especially lures I would say!
You should try get a pike on this combo :p
I might do that soon haha I'm sure it handles smaller pike, not sure about fish over 7lb or so 😅
Should be doable, for sure. I used to use a little 90cm ice fishing rod with a 1000 size spinning reel on wooded banks, and I've caught quite a few pike that were longer than the rod on that little setup. Innumerable perch, as well.
Definitely doable, and would be a nice little fight for sure! I used a zebco dock Demon paired with a baitcasting reel and caught a pike bigger than the zebco as well 😅
oh dude sweet...you bought THAT rod....that one that is always on everyone's feed...keen to see how it goes. I am always temped just based on the colour. I don't know if you have 13 fishing brand there in the UK but they have a few similar coloured ones that look sick.
13 Fishing makes some great rods at a good budget price ! I’ve got several different ones and love them all
Haha I had to buy definitely, and yes the colour was the reason I chose this one 😅 yeah we have 13 fishing here, they make some quality gear!
@@Oldbasshole yeah 13 fishing makes really quality gear!
@@zombiebitefishing great bang for your buck ! ( or pound ) lol
@patrickboyle9885 haha yeah that 😆 I've been keeping an eye on a 13 fishing baitcaster, but always think I would go with a shimano or daiwa instead 😅
Personally, I wouldn't buy it. I think it kills all the good old brands. Nice session BTW 👌
I totally get it! And it just doesn't compare to the actual branded stuff, especially rods and reels. I find it quite fun though, to just buy some cheap gear and try to catch something with it even though I will never use that again 😅🤣 there's some good brands there though, Tsurinoya make their own thing and I think it's actually a decent brand! Sougayilang the same though the quality it's kinda meh compared to Tsurinoya. Thanks for watching buddy!
Hey it’s fine if not but I wanted to try a Baitcaster but I don’t want to spend a lot of money on one but if u don’t use that’s setup anymore do you reckon I could have it? I’m 13
DM me on Instagram!
@@zombiebitefishing yo I don’t have insta srry
@@zombiebitefishing If there is another way u could send me if they would be good but I have Facebook
@@zombiebitefishing I have Facebook though if that helps :)
Yeah send me on Facebook!
I get the impression Temu has alot of the shit Ali stuff and then they mark it up...
Yeah basically the same stuff even the same stores 😅
Can you feel bites on mono line
Oh yeah, definitely! I know a lot of people don't like mono, I actually use it on a couple of my BFS combos! But to be honest I'm not too picky, I use nylon, fluoro or braid depending on the mood 😅
@@zombiebitefishing but you'll still feel bites on it
@theperchmaster96 yes 100%, it's not like it stretches when the fish bites or anything! And some of the brands (berkley, daiwa) are actually not that stretchy! At the end of the day it's personal taste, best thing to do is buy a 100m spool, which probably costs £5 and give it a go 😁
@@zombiebitefishing awesome
